"The Family had broken into small fragments, but the togetherness was intact internally. Distance could never pose a threat to the unity of family".
Isn't this most of our families story?
✔️
Mental health & Childhood both goes parallel. They have deep connection which we ignore. Self awareness & awareness to others is very important. The author has done a commendable job in portraying this through a romance filled story.

✔️I was hooked to this book since the first chapter, because the plot is so well written and characterisation is so strong.
✔️The writing keeps the reader engaged in the story and the way the story unfolds is worth everything.
✔️The doctor's past mystery came as a shocking.
✔️The supporting characters are beautifully described.
✔️The cover & title of the book is eye catchy, which tempts you to read more and More.
Best lines-
1) Aniket is different from what he appears. He is like a black box, no one knows what treasures or pains are inside that darkness.
2) Arushi is that modern woman who is torn apart between her self esteem & heart.

The blurb of the book intrigued me and hence I picked up this book.

There are many times that real life imitates reel life, here a novel life I would say and I couldn't but help reading this book. The storyline is about modern day couple in Mumbai and how alcoholism and ego brings a rift in their life and the role their friends and family play in the scenario.

The side story of all the supporting characters are well developed and are in much detail. The storyline was moving in too much of a linear manner where the author tries to narrate the story frame by frame which sometimes makes us loose our interest.

The extensive usage of the word "ummm" used to indicate the hesitation of the characters was also a put off.

The basic message of the story was how conditioning at a very young age and some suppressed emotions turn to erupt at a crucial stage of your life and if you don't deal with them, they will destroy your life. Overall a good beach one time read.
