I always enjoy revisiting Oak Mountain. Dax is a single father and a bear shifter. Jennifer is a human, working at a bartender on Oak Mountain, trying to make a new life. Dax is trying to get a promotion at work and take care of his daughter, while paying off the debt his ex-wife incurred. He needs stability for his family and wonders if there is a chance Jennifer is the one. So much happening in this story - Hot chemistry, secrets, misunderstandings, sabotage, family, friendship, love and loyalty. Hot and captivating story! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

“A Secret Baby for Daddy Bear” is an entertaining short read. Dax's life is complicated, trying to raise a child alone and up for a needed promotion. He meets Jennifer and there is an instant attraction. This story involves a treacherous co-worker, steamy sex, a surprise and lots of love. A book definitely worth reading.

I'm really enjoying this series so far & this book makes an excellent addition. Overall, I feel that the stories & the writing is getting better, although I did notice some instances of where the wrong word was used. This in no way impacted on the story or my enjoyment, but was just a bit annoying. I loved the pace of this story & felt that it built to a satisfying conclusion.

The plot was interesting, but the way Dax treated Jennifer, always treating her as the last, even after he discovered she was pregnant, was unacceptable.
Yes, he had a daughter from his first marriage, and his ex-wife was a bitch, but treating Jennifer that way was not right.

Dax was a single Dad. He workedbfulltime& things were hard for him. He wanted to be a better Dad & stay home with Marnie but he wanted them to have a better life. This book was so good & well written. The extra stories are a good bonus. Thanks.

This is a well written book about secrets and desires. It is a suspenceful romance that pulled me in from the first page and didn't let me go until the end. It is a standalone book with no cliffhangers.

Super-sweet PNR novella. Dax has been burned by love before. His first wife dug him deep into a hole of debt that he was working furiously to chip away while caring for his daughter. A quick tryst can change his life forever if he just accepts the gift given to him. A great read!

Brilliant book, as always Leela does not disappoint.

Utterly loved the story and the twists and turns, I think this heroine is definitely one of my favourites so far in the series and considering how many I've read and loved so far that's saying a lot.
