During the duration of me reading this, there were moments that made me giggle because it reminds me of a cliche scene from porn—don't judge!😆

Before I get into my book review, I want to put the disclaimer out there that this review will express not only how I felt about the book and how I feel about the author, but also how reading such taboo subjects made me feel about the characters, story, and author.
This was an amazing book and one of my favorites from this author! I read it through audible and I must say reading this book makes me want to purchase her entire catalog. It’s that good! The characters were amazing! The plot was good and kept me interested. The smut was delicious and had me wanting more. The ending was good and left it open if she wanted to make this into a series. The author is very great at making you feel for the characters, and, if you are open to it, becoming one of the characters yourself! I say that because while reading I felt like I was the MC and having to face the social choices of finding out something potentially horrific yet taboo about a relative, and secretly being turned on by it.
Our MC faces the reality that his mother could be secretly a amateur porn star (in a solo capacity). No judgement. But it could happen. It’s already intriguing but what makes all of this even more taboo is the fact that this is a mom and her son. It’s not a stepmom or stepson that normally pervades this genre, but the biological mother and son. So now we are introduced into another layer of taboo: incest. Honestly, it was steamy to read the mother’s love and affection and how that dominated the smut aspect. Sounds dirty but it worked. I felt like I was engaged in erotic acts with Lori; from tasting her fruit, to her expertly deepthroating me, to burying my cock deep in her sex and pounding her as hard as I could, to exploding anywhere I wanted!
Furthermore, the authors bravery for pushing the envelope can’t be ignored. Anya Merchant not only has written some amazing stories, but now she has become my favorite in the genre! Great story!! Loved it!

Good story
I enjoyed the story, but the artificial narration voice was distracting. The mispronunciation of words - sometimes pronouncing Isa and other times Esa, and lack of inflection took me out of it at times. The ending was a little predictable, but still had enough of an erotic twist to make it very enjoyable. I’ll try more of her books with an actual person narrating. I’m sure that will be even better.

Modern and believable
The author has been published for at least three years at this point and it shows. Her writing style has improved dramatically from earlier work. She was good in 2014, by 2017 she's really good. Her 2020 material? Superb. This 2017 story flows well, the characters are quite believable. Lori is quite the spitfire, lol. 5 well deserved stars.
