It has been found that celestial ar rangements depend on the causes which prevail on our planet, and that our experience with terrestrial objects is sufficient to bring us into communion with the most re mote parts of the creation. From their conformity to simple and determinate laws, the phenomena of the Heavens are rendered intelligible to the limited powers of the human mind, and we are thus enabled to realize the greatest advantages from the revelations of the teles Cope, and from the several facts which science has placed at our disposal.
