The agreement is for one year of companionship. Once the year is complete, the Infidelity employee and the client to which they’ve been tethered must mutually agree to the relationship in order for it to continue. When Quincy Herald chooses not to renew her agreement with billionaire hotelier Jean LaRue, he doesn’t take the news well, deciding to force her to stay against her will. That’s when Brian Glover, mercenary and co-owner of a high-end BDSM club in North Carolina, is called in for his services. With the help of his computer genius coworker, and the distraction of his gorgeous secret lover, the pressure is on for Brian to rescue Quincy before it’s too late.
Note from the Author
This novella can be read as a standalone. Brian is one of the four main characters in my Club Alias series. They are a group of Doms who own a BDSM club, but are also mercenaries who work tirelessly to clear up bad guys who slip through the judicial system’s cracks. Those evil people who escape justice with their loads of money and fancy lawyers—my guys take care of them and make it all look like karma.
To catch up on my Club Alias series, you can find them on Amazon in this reading order: Before the Lie (Confession Duet Book 1) Truth Revealed (Confession Duet Book 2) Seven You can also find the Confession Duet in a boxed set, both books inside one cover for a special price.
HOLY CRAPSTICKS!!! I have been waiting not so patiently for this story! KD Robichaux is an all time favorite and for her to have a story in The Fidelity World is EPIC!
I have been waiting on Brian's story for what feels like forever and this novella is just the perfect amount of a tease to keep me holding on to my sanity!
Brian is sooooo yummy! I love that this one was told all from his POV.
Rendesvouz by KD Robichaux is part of The Fidelity World. Meet Brian and Claire. Brian Glover is a Dom and Mercenary/ owner of a Security Company. When a mission leads him to NY he meets his friend with bennies, Claire, a photographer. Both are so good together, but she´s deep in denial. He wants more... Brian is one of 4 main characters from the Club Alias Series. I give 4 stars. Rendesvouz is a quick and scorching hot read and fits right in with the other Fidelity World stories.
There’s a lot of heat packed into this little novella. It tied in wonderfully with Aleatha Romigs Infidelity Series, which I loved. I instantly fell for the big, hot guy and his soft side which he only lets loose for one special lady, Clarice. And Clarice! I can’t wait to find out what makes her tick. I’m certainly looking forward to more about these two and their scorching hot feelings.
Nice quick read that ties in KD's Club Alias faces with Aleatha's well established world. Brian gets called in to recover a missing client. Like always in the Fidelity World, things aren't always as they seem. Brian and Clarice hook up on the out of town jobs if they can. Might seem unconventional, but for now, it works for them. They have chemistry in spades and raw and honest emotion between them. I cannot wait to read about more of their escapades in upcoming Kindle Worlds.
This is definitely not your normal romance novel. There isn't really a HEA, but there is a satisfactory conclusion to the story. There is really 2 focuses of the story, the "rendezvous" between the main characters, Clarice and Brian, and the mystery to be solved. The main characters come from KD Robichaux's Alias series, and the mystery comes more from Aleatha Romig's Fidelity Kindle World. As advertised in the blurb, this isn't really an entire story, but more a part of a bigger story. It is an excellent intro to both series, and definitely pulled me in. I've read KD Robichaux's Alias series, and this definitely fits right in with the other books. I'm not familiar with the Fidelity world, and its not necessary to read them to enjoy this novella. However, I'm intrigued enough that I'm going to have to look up Aleatha Romig's series, and I guess that really says it all.
Clarice and Brian are a couple that really aren't a couple. They are friends, but more. Robichaux definitely left me wanting more, but I'm don't really feel like its left unfinished, or that its a cliff hanger. I feel like she accomplished what was meant to be done in this novella, but hinted at more to come. She has said that there will be a series of novellas with Clarice and Brian, spanning several different Kindle worlds, and ending with their own novel and HEA. To me, this is something I've not seen done before, and I'm really looking forward to it! If you are a fan of Robichaux, you definitely don't want to miss this one. If you haven't read any of her stories, then you should totally catch up! All of her books are worth the read.
I've been a fan of KD Robichaux since she wrote No Trespassing, then the Confessions Duet, then Seven. She's mentioned Brian and Clarice will have more than one novella in Kindle Worlds, but this is, in my opinion, a complete stand alone story. This can easily be read without having read any other of her books (although I highly recommend any of KD's books).
The relationship between Brian and Clarice is a slightly unique one. They only meet up when Brian has an out of town job. And the missing person job he has in this story ends with a bit of a twist. It was not exactly what I expected. And loved Clarice's "game" with her photos she takes.
All in all, one of the best written novellas I've read.
Absolutely loved this! This book just reminds me that I really do need to catch up on the Club Alias series! I loved reading about Brian and Clarice I loved how both of them could trust each other in terms of safe sex and how he could trust her to become a switch with her.
I loved this story, it was a short novella and I wanted so much more and I know we are getting a Brian story eventually. So I can't actually wait! It was a great story and so much packed into this little novella! Great writing and great sex written, and I loved the bond between these two characters!
I loved the appearance of Seth and Twyla in this story!
So this is an amazingly HOT novella with touches of BDSM theme that is all Robichaux! I want so much more from this and Brian! Kayla really knows how to write some super hot scenes. I have read everything by her and this little novella is a teaser that will make you want more and more. I don't like to spoil anything about books so I don't get into plots and such in reviews.
Brian the tall beast of a man is one fantasy you will want in your book boyfriend library. I just keep saying I want more of him because I truly do. I know of him from the other books he was in, but I want MORE!!
This book is a great short read that will leave you hot and bothered with the amount of heat involved. The scenes are hot, characters hot, see a theme? It's plain hot. oh and for you Club Alias lovers, Seth is in this book too :) Him and his sexy funny self has some conversations with Brian. Be prepared to want even more after reading because I know his story is far from over and I can't wait to see what else the book world has in store for Brian!
Rendezvous is freaking amazing!!!!! I couldn’t put it down!!! This story follows Brian, who we first meet in K.D. Robichaux’s The Confessions Duet, and his “secret lover” Clarice. Brian is one of the guys from the Club Alias Series. Brian is leaving for a mission and asks Clarice to meet up with him. Their chemistry oozes off the pages! I literally wanted to jump through my Kindle and climb that 6”8 man like a tree and hang on like a spider monkey. This short sexy read has me eager to read more about Brian and Clarice. The ending of the book blew my mind! I love the twists in this sexy AF book! This is definitely a 5 Star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️read for me! Way to go K.D. Robichaux!!!!!! #swooningoverbrian
Rendezvous is a short, steamy and enjoyable read that is apart of the sensual and secretive Fidelity World!!!! Brian has been called in to investigate a ending of a contract that has gone rather haywire and the pair in question are missing. Brian has his secret lover Clarice come and stay with him, their chemistry is off the charts!!!!!! (Fanning myself) Just when Brian doesn't have a lead, the case takes an unexpected twist.
I really love KD Robichaux writing, it's sexy, engaging and the characters have their own quirky and unique traits that are so fun to read. Brian is apart of the 'Club Alias' series, but can be read as a standalone easily. If you are looking for a quick read that has the right amount of intrigue, mystery, sexiness and joy, then this is the novella for you!!!!
Rendezous is part of the Fidelity World book series but is also a part of KD Robichaux's Club Alias series. This quick hit of a story is about Brian, one of the Club's founding members and the one who still travels the country doing missions for the groups' "other" business.
Brian, first seen in Before The Lie, has come a long way from the green recruit he was. Seasoned in the world of warfare and experienced in the world of BDSM, Brian is all you can want in a book boyfriend. Tall, handsome, self-assured, and kinky. Clarice, a photographer he met overseas, is the woman he is hung up on but who he only sees when he travels. She meets up with him wherever he is and gives him his "bonus" for a job well done. As this is a novella and told entirely from Brian's point a view, Clarice remains a mystery.
As this is just prequel to what will be Brian's story that Robichaux has in the works, the story is mostly just a bit of Brian's current mission, his thoughts on the woman who he pines for but can't seem to lock down and some very hot, sext scenes guaranteed to get the sweat rolling. This is the perfect snippet peak into what looks like will be a helluva story for Brian.
There was so much packed into this short story. There was heat, action, suspense, and some humor all wrapped up in a pretty package. Being in the line of work, Brian is able to travel, and when he does, the beautiful Clarice will show him who's really the boss in that relationship. You feel like you want to submit to Clarice yourself. This was an incredible read and it ended too quickly. I can not wait to read more.
Hot damn!! 🔥🔥🔥 Gah, even a short novella by KD is amazing! I loved Brian and Clarice! Brian is so gorgeous, rugged and manly but still so freaking sweet and tender! I loved their banter and I really really hope we get to read more about them! This short book packed a huge punch! I definitely want more Brian but I didn’t feel like the story lacked anything at all! It was sweet and sexy and damn that epilogue was something else Kayla! 🔥🔥🔥 I cant wait to read more!
Rendezvous is a novella from The Fidelity World by Aleatha Romig, all of which I have read, but this is my first book by KD Robichaux, and OMG talk about hawt!!! Oh my goodness!! How my kindle didn't melt from the heat I will never know - I will certainly be reading more from KD Robichaux after reading this!!
Brian is a Mercenary / Dom in KD's Club Alias series, which I will be buying after this. He has been brought in by Mrs Witt to investigate one of the Infidelity girls having gone missing. Whilst he's there he meets up with his 'best friend' Clarice - the one girl who he might consider having a proper relationship with. She's his Sub at his BDSM club and they meet up when they can. He want's more but Clarice is in denial about her feelings for him.
I loved this - it tied in really well with The Fidelity World side of things and was scorchingly hot. I loved Brian and was very intrigued by his background and can't wait to read more about him and his colleagues.
A super hot, quick and enthralling read - can't wait to read more!!! Highly recommended.
I was so excited to see that Brian was starting to get his own stories! I love the Club Alias series and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen with Brian, and more importantly who would be the woman who sets his heart ablaze! I love that such a tiny woman has the ability to bring such a giant to his knees! I can’t wait to see what happens next with them!
To start off, I have read everything by KD Robichaux, and once again she didn't disappoint. This is Brian's novella from her Club Alias series. Each book in the Club Alias series can be read as a standalone. This story is also apart of Aleatha Romig's The Fidelity Kindle World, which can be read without having read any of the other stories.
Brian has a job to try and find a missing woman, and when he goes on assignments he always meets up with his lover, Clarice. This is a short, sweet, and very sexy story of a few days in New York City. Brian is a very interesting character as he is apart of a mercenary team, which is disguised as a security company, and they also own a high-end BDSM club. Clarice is a photographer. We get to see the interesting relationship between Brian and Clarice, and we get to read about Brian solving the mystery of the missing woman. I can't wait to read more of this very interesting relationship in upcoming stories.
This book was just wow. I am not quite sure there are words to do it justice so I will just say HOT. Brian is a switch I would F love to play with but alas he has the lovely clarice.
The story line is brilliant and even I never guessed who it was which is a first. The couple are great together and KD is an author I will be reading again.
Rendezvous is a story of a love that has yet to be declared... Brian is part of a mercenary group that takes care of those whom the law has failed... Clarice is an independent woman with more feelings for Brian than she wants to admit...
This book is part of the “Club Alias” series but it can be read as a stand-alone... I do recommend reading the full series for the full effect but you can definitely skip the intro and jump right on Brian...
Brian is a part owner of Club Alias and this is one of the missions that he has taken place during a previous book in the series. That being said, you aren't going to be confused if you haven't read the Club Alias books before. The interactions between Brian and Clarice are hot and they make an awesome couple. The story moves quickly and smoothly and I cant wait to read more!
OMG, the first 2 pages grabbed me! I totally loved the phone interaction between Brian and Clarisa! What a cute couple! The job Brian was working was interesting as well. Overall a fun, short 5 star read! I want more of Brian & Clarisa, please, ma'am!
3.5 stars. I enjoyed reading about Brian and Clarice in a different world. I know novellas are supposed to be short, but this one felt it. I would have loved just a little more.... more. Despite that, I still loved these characters!
This is the shortest story I have read by this author but it still had me sucked in and sad when it ended! The writing is still amazing and the characters make you want to hang on after it is over. This book gives us Brian, who is one of the owners of Club Alias. It also gives us a glimpse of the woman that brings him to his knees! In this book, Brian is sent on a mission to find and rescue an escort and he brings along his “Secret Lover”, he is expecting worst case scenario but things turn out different than expected. This is definitely a book that you should pick up and start reading today!
Great read! K. D. ROBICHAUX did an amazing job on bring Brian's story out. I was a bit sad as it ended so quickly, or maybe I just read it to fast. Either way, it is a great read!
