Rate this book
Odell Moss isn’t sure if growing up in the middle of a large family is good or not. Her siblings are both her best friends and cleverest foes, and Odell’s life on the family farm is full of mischief and mayhem, laughter and tears. From the anguish of classroom valentines to the delight of keeping a secret pony, from the comforting cycles of farm life to the tensions of a polio epidemic, the Moss children somehow stay one step ahead of unsuspecting parents, strict nuns, and even the police. This collection of hilarious escapades documents Odell’s journey through childhood and her triumphant entrance into young adulthood.

I am biased. This book was written by my grandfather's sister about their childhood - they were two of ten children!
