I had this sitting in my bookshelf for years and never got past chapter 2. After studying with Genki I can safely say this book is inferior in many regards. I wanted to refresh and repeat what knowledge I gained with Genki but there is not much to actually study or write. The chapter design is meh, vocabulary is too little and the amount of grammatical forms is underwheling. I read this in like 20 minutes. Absolutely do not recommend.
