FAMILIES CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS AT RIVER’S END RANCH
The Christmas Catch-up comprise of five individual short stories by various authors to catch up with main characters and relationships found within the pages of previous stories. These are not lengthy stories, just an added bonus of the characters during Christmas 2017. Rather than do a summary of the book, I am going to share a quote or two from each family. Call it a little teaser!
JACK AND LIZ
“You did it. You really did it.” “Yes! And do you know what a hard secret that’s been to keep? I’ve been sitting on this for three weeks, the longest three weeks of my entire life!”
WES AND AMBER
“Sorry. I’ve never had a pregnant wife before—I don’t know what you need.”
GABE AND GWEN
“Honestly, sweetheart, everything I am is because of you. You encouraged me to excel back in college, you’ve been by my side during this recovery, and it was your love that got me back on the judge’s bench.”
MARK AND HEIDI
“These weren’t tears of sadness. Instead, they were tears of healing. She had no idea what the future would hold for her and Mark.” “At that moment, it didn’t seem to matter exactly how it came about because she had a sense that it was all in God’s hands, that He was watching the situation and whatever happened, He would be there. Just like He had always been there.”
REGGIE AND ABBY
“Thing you’ve got to know about Reggie—he has the softest heart in the entire world. He has to in order to balance me out—I’m as hard as a nail.”
JOEY AND CHELSEA
“He couldn’t exactly ask her because that would give away the surprise, but he didn’t want to run the risk of doing something totally dumb because she’d remember it forever. That was the thing about girls. They had been memories than elephants.”

Enjoyable catchup
As have the earlier catchup books have done, this one brings several Rivers End stories ahead until today. Although I wanted more, at least the short look in into each couples lives kept the stories alive for a short time.

I love these catch up books
I am enjoying the catch up with couples during Christmas festivities. I have read all the River's End Ranch books. But the books don't give much information on the couples after their book is finished. This is the perfect idea.
