This feels like Doctor Aphra is finally really stepping out on its own and finding the voice it always wanted. I love the over-the-top characters introduced in this issue and the imp and the Imperial romance, i didnt think I'd buy into it... but I'm sold.
What a mess. I was happy to see links to The Clone Wars appear towards the end, and also to the previous Darth Vader series. But arriving there was just not interesting. This comics series used to be entertaining; I can't understand what they are doing with it now.
Still thoroughly enjoying these 2019 Doctor Aphra's.
The level quality and delivery just feels so mature and refined. While this episode is a filler/set-up/sag-in-the-middle variant, it is still superbly done.
Do not see this 3 out of 5 star rating as mediocrity. It's a great comic and I'm sure it'll lead into something truly great as this current (very fun) arc continues to progress.
This series continues to be a lot of fun, the story is face paced and brought together with some interesting characters. Also unlike a lot of the other Star Wars comics the art is fantastic and compliments the tone of the comic perfectly.

Comic book issues should just never waste page space with a dream sequence. I'm growing to like the idea of of Triple Zero running a crime syndicate, and tying the mission to Wat Tambor is a nice addition.
