Nothing in my life is the same. She’s changed everything—simultaneously turning my world upside down while making it right for the first time ever.

I break this woman a little more each day… and she lets me. It’s all part of our deal.

Every pleasure she gives me brings her closer to freedom. Closer to paying her debt in full. And I’m not ready to let her go.

Ruthless. That’s what she calls me.
She’s not wrong.

I’m a man who will do whatever it takes to get what I want. And what I want… is her.

I could go back on our deal. Force her to stay. Risk her hating me forever.

Or I could let her go—because for once in my life, I care about someone else’s happiness more than my own.

She is my joy.
She is my pain.
She is my submissive.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2! His Deal, book 2 of 3. Tristan’s devious plan to collect a debt is compromised by vanilla sex!

“I can’t decide which way you’ll look more beautiful—on your knees sucking my cock or on your hands and knees with your tits jiggling every time I shove my cock into your pussy from behind.”

Books in Lock & Key trilogy should be read in order:
Book 1: Her Debt
Book 2: His Deal
Book 3: Their Destiny

In Her Debt, book 1 casino owner and heir Tristan Broussard aka Master confronted the woman who had scammed his
casino. Gambler and con artist Emma Lia Grant, Em aka Mon bebelle almost felt guilty for cheating Tristan, until he high-handily demanded she repay him by becoming his submissive. In the combative yet seductive tug-a-war that ensued Tristan, the sadist and Dom quickly realized he had not factored in he was up against a born gambler. Nor was he prepared for that mind-blowing vanilla sex might cloud his better judgment.

His Deal, book 2 is the continued journey for Tristan and Em; a deal is struck, truths are uncovered, rules are bent and compromises made….

Told from dual POVs, it offers the perfect mixture of smut, romance, seduction, lust, scheming, revenge, deception, secrets and jealousy with a cocky anti-hero set on revenge and coercion only to fall into whipped.

Scorching sex scenes! Hilarious bantering! Panty-melting dirty talking Tristan!

As a BDSM novel it hit the mark. There were a few things that bothered me but all in all it was a good light bdsm romance. Tristan and Emma Lia’s relationship had emotional moments and I felt like the author did a wonderful job conveying their emotions. I thoroughly enjoyed this but I would have liked it more if they had taken a bit more time to build their relationship. I am looking forward to the third and last book in the series, though.

In short:
Hero 4/5 | Heroine 4/5 | Plot (Point, Originality) 4/5 | Writing Style 4/5 | Steam 4/5 | Romance 3/5 | Angst-Suspense 3/5 | Darkness 0/5 | Humor 0/5 | Secondary Characters 3/5 | Drama-Conflict 4/5 | Mystery 0/5 | Twists 3/5 | Pace Steady | Action 2/5

I enjoyed this one too, but it had some parts I thought "really are you serious?"

I also have a huge dislike for Claudia.. What a C***.. I understand the hurt, and anger but lets be real it was told from the start..

What I disliked also was the moment Emma said she wanted Claudia gone and Tristan goes overly assh*le over it.. Like seriously you don't get where you go wrong?? And then you expect her to tell sorry? Hell No mister!!

But I liked it! It's a very steamy read!
Remember it's BDSM so it isn't vanilla nice.

***ARC recieved for review***

Because this is a continuation to Her Debt and I'm not about to give spoilers away I'm going to keep this review short and sweet.

Rebel Rose continues the Lock and Key series with another deliciously sinful novel.

I can't get enough of Tristan, this novel shows more of his alpha tendencies and his dominating side beneath the sheets. It also shows a deeper connection between Tristan and Emma Lia.

I am still really enjoying this BDSM series!

I need more!!!!!

His Deal is book 2 in the Lock and Key series by Ruby Rose.

This book is simply incredible. In book one we get to meet our characters and get to see how Emma Lia is going to handle her blackmail. In this book their relationship changes and progresses into one of a true D/s. Thee writing was fabulous, the characters were well developed, and the story line was flawless. I Loved every second of this story.

So this is the second book in this trilogy. The first book was pretty good. Tristan was a little much for me in the first one. His selfishness was way over the top and I really wanted to smack the crap out of him. But this second one has become way better. He seems to be finding himself with Emma and I am starting to really enjoy that. I don't believe that anyone can change. Tristan isn't CHANGING per say, but he is seeing that he can become different. He can see that things can be different with someone that questions things. And Emma does question him, even though she is a sub. But again sub's are allowed to question, and Dom's are supposed to make sure they are safe and happy. In the first book that is what was missing.

I am excited to see what is going to happen in the last book. Emma is almost through her keys. And Tristan made some big decision at the end of this book that can change both their lives without asking Emma first. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

I gave the first part of this trilogy 4 stars, but after reading part 2 and seeing what, this author is capable of... I can't quite give it 5 stars just because of the subject (5 stars to me means I go out and recommend everyone who reads needs to read it, but I don't think I'll be suggesting this too often in my largely old school, farming, vanilla part of the world). Rose excels at the dirty, but I regret suggesting in my last review that the character development was lacking due to the novella length of the book. The characters are developed enough that I was literally moved to tears at one point. That's not an easy accomplishment. If Rose's other work is anywhere near as good as this, she will secure a place in my favorites authors list.

His Deal the second book in the Lock & Key series by Rebel Rose was a little steamier than the first. We picked up right where we left Tristan and Emma Li; she just took his new deal, now how long will it take her to find the right key.

In this book, you got something you knew was going to happen, something you never saw coming and a this is not going to be a good moment. I don’t want to give too much away, you just need to read this book.

I am so in love with this couple, just everything about them, they fit together perfectly. My emotions went a little crazy in this book, can’t wait to see what will happen next!

It's the second installment in the Lock and Key series, which continues where the first one left off. Emma Lia has become Tristan's submissive. And while she learns all about this new relationship, both of them can't help but want more than what the other can give. The smut won't disappoint; it is based on BDSM and you do get to read many scenes about it.

Emma is a strong character. She knows what she wants even if that is not wanting to share Tristan with anyone else. His ex-sub, Claudia, was such a pain in the ass, and Emma showed her her place with savage responses. She appreciates people (Ray's cooking) and isn't afraid to talk her mind.

Tristan on the other hand is an amazing Dom, but there were a few things that bugged me about him. Easton, his best friend, clearly wanted to bang Emma, and Tristan didn't want to share her with him unlike other times. Yet when asked how Emma is, he says things like 'world's best pussy', 'it's something that needs to be experienced', et cetera. That's going to turn on Easton for sure. Second thing is the fact that Claudia was still living in the same house as them. It ain't rocket science to figure out Claudia was still into him and didn't wanna let him go. Yet he didn't send her away as fast as she could which resulted in her pulling off that stupid stunt. I loathed her character the entire time. Thirdly,

My rating for this series increased by 0.5 stars. It has a good storyline, really sexy stuff written in here. So I'll tell you to go for it.

Great Deal!

This the second book in Lock and Key Series and is just as great as the first one! The continue of the battle of Emma Lia and Tristan in her being his submissive is very hot and very interesting. When together are perfect in their wants with her wanting vanilla and pain, his wanting pain and his learning to want vanilla just with her. Love it, there is a very interesting ending that makes me to badly to read the third book, so happy it coming next week! 💗 Will be recommend this book!💗

This is Book 2 of the series. Tristan and Emma Lia relationship continues in this book to different levels. She wants to go home but he has decided she is the one for him and will go to extreme measures to keep her there. This book has me on the edge of my chair, I can't read it fast enough to see what happens. I am in love with Tristan and Emma Liam, they have a different relationship but it seems to work for them. I can't wait for the final book to see what happens.

This book had me feeling a lot like the first but honestly I just let my mind take a break! I dove right in and finished it very quickly. I want to hate Tristan I really do, but I just can't. Then to image him talking cajun french. Gosh he sounds so sexy!
Then to top it off the author says he is pretty/masculine like Henry Cavill and presto he is my new book boyfriend.
In this book Emma Lia is accepting more and more that she will have to stay with Tristan until her debt is paid but this time instead of the chip system he introduces the key system. It's easy to see how they begin to fall in love with one another, they add vanilla love into their relationship and tristan handles it much better than he tought that he would!
It was an exciting read, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Oh Claudia is outside her mind.

Wow.  Mr Grey look out!  You got some competition in the Dom business.

Emma Lia is a professional gambler who has caught the attention of Tristan Broussard, rich casino owner, better known as Master.  In a plot to make her his next submissive, he let's her cheat in casino till she has taken about $100k.  Once she won her $100K Tristan steps in for the capture.  Now Emma Lia has a choice, jail or become Tristan's submissive to work off her debt, one key at a time.

Tristan is a sadist.  The things he does to get what he wants is down right crazy.  No one tells him no.  NO ONE!  He gets what he wants by any means necessary and what he wants is Emma Lia.  He is a sexy hot alpha male with a dark and kinky side.  He has to have control in all things and he expects her obedience.

Emma Lia is a strong character whom is very independent.  She has a tough time with the whole dom-sub relationship.  She doesn't want to give up control and fears what dark and painful things that Tristan wants to do to her.

This series captured my attention.  I really enjoyed the Fifty Shades series and thought what the hell, I should read these too.  I am glad that I did.  I really enjoyed the books and the interesting characters.  The books flowed smoothly from one to the next, picking right up where the last left off.  An interesting dark tale of love, passion and desire.  I hope that the author explores Easton and Avery at some point.  We shall see.  Fingers Crossed

So if you are a Fifty Shades fan, then this series is for you.  A deep story of giving control and falling in love.

So this book was so much better than the first....until right at the end. This is the SECOND book in a ROW in which Tristan fucks with Emma's birth control WITHOUT HER CONSENT! I was really loving where the plot was going UNTIL HE PULLED OUT THE IUD WHILE SHE WAS BLINDFOLDED!! WHAT THE FUCK!? I don't think I'll finish the trilogy because no matter where the plot goes I keep thinking about how he:

1) drugged her and had a doctor examine her and insert the IUD while she was passed out (without her consent)

2) How he pulled the IUD out without her knowledge or consent (which I highly doubt she would not have noticed by the way) so that he can "keep" her.

To me this goes beyond dubious consent and goes into fucking with her bodily autonomy and I'm not ok with that.

🗝️ Powerful - Breathtaking - Riveting 🗝️
I read a complimentary copy of His Deal and this is the first of the books in the series that I have read - I will be correcting that immediately- and I had no problem piecing this together even though it was not meant to be a stand-alone - it is that captivating
When people say they were so captivated they couldn't put it down we tend to believe that they are speaking in metaphors - I am not - I honestly sat down and read from beginning to end without pause
It has been a long time since an author has brought me so thoroughly into a story that time and place was temporarily nonexistent and it was almost painful turning the last page
The relationship that is formed between Tristan and Emma is poignant - I could feel their need for one another- their desperation - their desire burned from the pages of their story
Tristan is ... so much more.
The way he is honest with his emotions and capitulations - his acceptance when finds he craves both worlds and how he seeks to obtain that delicate balance makes the story flow from captor/captive to so much more
It was flawlessly executed within the story - I could truly feel the shift in the characters as if I was there
In closing quick notes
-Not your typical D/s read
-Claudia - she would have been out with the trash a long time ago
-And there is a scene towards the end that almost made me stop reading- NO, I am not spoiling - I am glad that I did not
I am not sure he made a better choice but now I understand that he knew what he was going to do and he was not taking chances
I can truly say this is a story worthy of your time

His Deal is the second book in the Lock and Key series, and since it's a continuation, you MUST READ HER DEBT FIRST! I really loved this one better than the first one, because it seemed like Tristan seemed a bit more human for the most part, so I didn't spend the whole book wanting to junk punch him over & over again. I already LOVE Emma Lia completely, so I have her back in all things. She's been a strong heroine, not submitting too soon for the most part, although, there were times that I wished she had been a bit more stubborn. Since there is no spoiler douchery in this review, you will just have to read it for yourself if you want to know what I'm talking about. Even with my conflicted feelings about Tristan, there's no denying that together, they are FIERY FLAMES of sexy times, and lit those sheets on FIRE! Added in all of these feelings swirling around, the talented Rebel Rose added in some extra twists that had my f-bombs dropping from shock! I CANNOT WAIT to read Their Destiny, as I'm all in, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great continuation from her debut novel. I see a lot of growth and character development with this book. Ms. Rose is really coming into her own. This is brilliant and captivating writing. Tristan is as dominating as ever but he wants to just try vanilla for the sake of a “normal” relationship with Emma Lia. They have their the vanilla nights and there over the top D/s nights. There is just one catch, anytime Tristan dominates her she gets to pull a key hoping to win her freedom. Things are going good until Claudia throws a wrench into Tristan’s plans. I would just like to say his ex-sub would have to go for me to be in a relationship with him, but that’s just me. Finally they get on track again and his father pulled a stunt that sends them both reeling. After this latest episode will they both finally get on the same page?

I am loving this dark, yet sweet love story. Both Tristan and Emma Lia are trying to find their way in this world together. Tristan is a hard man with dark tendencies but he is finding his softer side and dare I say love with Emma Lia. Emma Lia is a strong independent woman but finds something in submitting to Tristan that she didn’t know she needed. The journey they are on finding completeness with each other has been dark and fun and sexy. The emotions that are coming off of the pages are overwhelming at times. I feel like I am on the sidelines viewing this love that is blooming. I can’t wait for the final installment in the story. Will they find their happily ever after together or will outside influences continue to try and keep them apart. “Their Destiny” is my next read. The whole series has been worthy of my one click.

I mean I liked the first one when he was just convincing her to stay as his sub......but this story was more vanilla than other actual love stories......

I'm more than halfway through and I already know where this is going and the groveling part...but...the twist is so cliche that you almost expect it in every average love story..
hero is so loyal and the softest of the doms that i've ever read about.

but i'll read it till the end and if i have anything to say i'll come back here...if not...i'll prolly read the next and last on this series too...cuz...well..it's not hurting anyone right?

annnnnnnd i'm back....i'm loving it btw

end: I LOVED ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT, WASN'T A TRUE BDSM STORY BUT I'M EXCITED FOR THE NEXT ONE

Ugh! Ok our female mc got a nickname just as ridiculous as her actual name...bebelle. Short book, mostly just sex scenes & kind of boring. There was a big reveal that lost its punch because we didn't know we were supposed to wonder why our female mc was supposed to stay away from the male mc and his family. I wrongly assumed it was just because they had great security and would catch the card cheats. All in all it was still an OK book although I'm not sure I will read book 3 because I already know what's going to happen. The author does a great job writing our female lead but falls way short in the male category, my bar is set high (Jarico Barons).

This is the second book in this phenomenal series, and is the continuation of Tristan and Emma Lia story. The relationship between these two continues to grow and develops, and their chemistry explosive. This author does an awesome job in drawing in her readers. I literally could not put this novel down, and I was totally captivated throughout. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. Hats off to this extremely talented author, for the depth and soul that she has given her characters.

3.5 Stars for His Deal (Lock and Key #2)

In the second book in this series the author expands on the characters actions and emotions. We witness the struggle to let go of what the characters thought they wanted. The push and pull dynamic of Tristan and Emma Lia plays out slowly creating a slow burn.

Deception is interwoven into the storyline. Truths of the past are revealed and hopes for the future are clouded in the mist of words unspoken.

The characters dialogue play a large role in making book two in the series such an enjoyable story.
