"I enjoy writing about the things I am acquainted with and have experienced first-hand. That knowledge spans nearly 40 years and those friends and colorful characters I have discovered in both in my personal, creative and professional life have loosely crossed into the fictional path of my writings. They grow and evolve into the characters I hope my readers will also come to love or despise in much the same way as I do."

Ace Stone is everything. Part man. Part thrill. And I enjoyed all of the pulse-pounding, break neck speed in The Unexpected Warrior: An Ace Stone Adventure. I’m still getting used to the UK English, but it’s always a delight to read a good international crime thriller and this little number joins the ranks.
I just wanted to say that this was an AWESOME book and writing my review in detail shortly as I'm playing catch up with my reviews overall but here's the short gist:
I totally recommend this book especially for those readers wanting a crime thriller of the Noir variety. It's based in 60's/70's London when the area was at it's most seedy with the criminal element in Soho and the East End in general.
If you like the stories of the gangster, scandals in the world of finance, dodgy deals and great places to travel virtually in Europe (you can smell and taste the environs) or if you are are fan of the Fight Club, Fear and Loathing etc. type story, you'll love this book!
It's the first in a series of which the second one is being release shortly as I am on the pre-release list on the author's website www.NicholasPrice.com
One of the best books that I've read the last couple of years. The author's descriptions of people, plac3es, events and things is superb. Will definitely look for more of the author's books.
This is a fantastic book! The unexpected warrior is a story that truly surprised me. I am gripped by the story, the characters and Ace stone is a man that I just can't wait to follow into the next book! I am really glad I found this hidden gem and glad it's a series.
