A young widow find herself indebted to her clan's enemy after he save her child. An erotic historical Highland romance novelette, written for Ages 18+.
Erinn Ellender Quinn is the softer side of erotic author Nia Farrell, one of Mr. Blackthorne’s Wicked Pen Writers and a multi-genre author who is published in nonfiction, poetry, music, articles, and children’s books, with one documentary screenplay under her literary belt. She’s an old soul and a period reenactor who’s been into corsets for centuries, although she wears them more to Civil War events these days.
Erinn has been involved in the metaphysical community for over twenty-five years. She is a Reiki Master and crystal healer whose work encompasses this and other lifetimes.
Erinn was fortunate enough to meet her soul mate early on. She married her high school sweetheart, raised two children, and began writing at her husband's suggestion. She has been published as Nia Farrell in erotic romance since 2015. Ride the Wind is her debut romance novel.
Erinn Ellendel Quinn brings us an all too brief encounter in the Scottish between a young widow and a stranger who wears the plaid of her enemy. He finds her young daughter who wandered away and it is not long before he shows her other kindnesses and gallantry. Too short but otherwise perfect. I will have to get more of Quinn’s work.
Such a sweet gentle read. A mother and her child slowly working their way home when her husband dies. The trip is more difficult than expected. The unexpected help from a highlander who saves her daughter eases the trip somewhat. That he travels with them the rest of the way is awesome. Love blooms between people even when they think it shouldn't.
No connection, no feeling and it's really short. It's just convenient for them both. Perhaps someday they fall in love. Yet they have children. Not enough information.
