In the meantime, Lulu's got dating issues of her own--a gorgeous ER doc treats her sprained ankle (which she would point out, he also caused), and then treats her better than any other man ever has. But there's one problem...Tippy. His Upper East Side mother and her Upper East Side attitude.


Book Three: Cosmos and Commitment

The third book in the trilogy finds Natalie finally with the guy ... until a ghost from his past returns (in the form of a cougar with WAY too much cleavage for Natalie's liking.) In the meantime, Tamara is killing it in the NYC real estate scene -- who would have expected a little country girl could make it big on her own in the city. Certainly not her family, and definitely not her old boyfriend. But Gage "Spyder" Spidell will have tell her that himself when he shows up out of the blue, cowboy boots and all. Will she remember what it was about the long-legged cowboy she loved in the first place, or will she send him packing back to the country?

Girlfriends of Gotham is set in the mid-90s just as the dot.com businesses are becoming the rage. Basically, it is about a group of twenty-something girls that somehow come together and form a friendship in NYC. They try to navigate life while enjoying fabulous clothes, terrific jobs, and lots of yummy men.

The series follows California girl Natalie Porter as she moves to the big apple discovering new friends and relationships, a new job with lots of unexpected responsibilities, and has her facing situations that are sometimes funny, sometimes serious, and other times life learning moments.

If you were a fan of Sex in the City, then this is the type of book series you are looking at. A touch of humor, romance, up & down relationships, and most important female friendships.

Natalie leaves her family firm, her home and friends to go to New York City to proof she can make it on her own. Her first day in the city she sells her car, throws up on another car and gets s lecture from a new yorker on how he could sue her for the corrosive elements in vomit. On her second day in town she interviews for one job and receives another although she's a little scared she doesn't complain but goes with the flow and as her job progresses she learns of party's that she can too for fun and meet clients and that is where she meets Candice who proceeds to get her to introduce her to the CEO of another company so she can land a job and one night stands later Candice has an interview and Natalie made a have a new friend. Really great book so good.

I thought it was great. These books were fun and funny. I always love a box set. You get a set of stories in the series all at once so you don't have to wait at a great price. New York in the 90s couldn't be better for Natalie with her best girlfriends, and her job. You have to love the mishaps and fun they get into. I can't wait for more.

This was fantastic! The title "the perfect New Adult 90s romantic comedy" is just right cause this was entertaining, hilarious & fun!
