Reading this book feels like listening intently to a wise and kind grandfather who has been through and seen a lot generously sharing his heartfelt, unforgettable experiences and invaluable advice on how to live through and appreciate the ups and downs of our lifetime. Many of his key points really resonated with me, as it was easy to draw parallels with my own life as well those of the people around me. To me, a large part of the lessons and suggestions he tries to impart through numerous real-life stories boils down to developing the skill of self-examination, mindfulness, and keeping life in its proper perspective. In times when we inevitably encounter situations that stir up our minds with confusion, anxiety, loss, and grief, this book is an excellent reference for enlightenment.
