Follow one of Star Trek's greatest villains, Khan Noonien Singh, from his exile on Ceti Alpha V to the devastating events of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
IDW's miniseries, Khan: Ruling In Hell, reveals what happened during the years Khan spent on Ceti Alpha V. Kirk leaves him and his followers on a lush planet to establish a colony. However, paradise quickly turns to hell, setting Khan on a new course: vengeance.
The comic book adaptation of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is not only the retelling of the most popular Star Trek film, but thanks to the insight provided in Ruling In Hell, it gives another layer of emotion and drama to the well-known story

A solid experience for fans of the Khan story. The art is great! There isn't really enough content to fully display the story of Khan, so you will want to go into this one with an understanding of Khan's background. The latter sections of this collection are a retelling of Star Trek 2: Wrath of Khan. If you haven't seen that, go watch it now and come back. This format can't really compare to that movie, but it is certainly successful in taking you back to the iconic moments in the film and in making you want to watch it again.

If this story interests you, I further recommend watching Wrath of Khan and reading the Khan trilogy of novels by Greg Cox.

This adaptation is poorly paced and illustration quality is all over the place. This book brings nothing to the plate compared to other Trek film adaptations and feels like a cash grab.
