Eddie and Julianna are back doing what they do best, protecting the little guy, being a big thorn in the butt of the Trid, and out to get the brotherhood. However, they find there is a bigger fish to hook and right now Eddie and Julianna always seem to be one step behind. A lot happens in this the book of the series, they gain another main crew member, there is a Ricky Booby scene that is not to be missed, and of course the awesome authors notes that should never be skipped.

This books is wonderful and keeps up with the others, I don't know how they keep doing it. The constant snarky banter between the characters just keeps getting better and better as are their books. I just love them and Chris Abernathy as the narrator is perfect, he sucks you into their world and makes you feel as though you are really there, it is so awesome, I can not wait for more.

Total Score: 5/5

Summary:
As Eddie and his team continue to fight for all of humanity they find out who their true enemy is Felix Castile. Castile makes his move to resupply his troups, he makes a tactile error allowing one man, Knox, from the doomed gun runners to escape. Knox inadvertently finds his way to Eddie’s team where he finds a common goal, to take down Castile.

After listening to the first two books, I thought of Eddie as a cowboy in space, but it was incredible that this story allowed the reader to see how Eddie responded to a the west when they visited the society based on the old west. Knox shows his worth when he puts his life on the line to protect the team. It is funny how Julianna has a hot/cold relationship with Eddie leaving the reader wondering if there is more to her feelings than she realizes. Eddie is determined to succeed, but the stakes a definitely higher as they continue to risk their lives on every mission. I will be waiting to see what will happen next.

Don't you just hate it, when a book ends on a cliffhanger? Lol

I enjoyed reading this, as the plot line has advanced, and the Ghost Squadron are doing their best to help stop Felix Castile from taking over the planet of Nexus, using the Brotherhood.

The only reason that I gave this book four stars, instead of five, was because the way that the squadron overcame the might of the Brotherhood seemed a little too pat, a little too simplistic for me, especially after reading book after book, within the Kurtherian Universe, of complex plans woven through with many different pathways.

Who knows? Maybe this can be done, but it felt to me like something that was such a quickly thought out, and operated, plan, that it didn't feel real enough for me.

But then, maybe, I'm just spoilt! Lol

That said, I'm enjoying the new crew coming together with Julianna, Eddie, and Lars, and was so pleased that Hatch has found his new apprentice at last, and that Knox has found his spiritual home, so to speak.

I also loved that Eddie found a way of reconnecting Julianna with her previous AI, Ricky Bobby - that was quite a poignant moment, and reconnected me with the previous books at the very beginning of this crazy reading journey that I'm on - it also made me think a lot better of Eddie, who seems to be getting all grown up, all of a sudden!

But the epilogue has definitely got me wanting to read book four of this series - though it'll have to wait, as my reading list tells me that the next book in line, is book one: The Bad Company, from the series of the same name.

But then, as this will bring TH, and Char back into my life - at least, I hope it will - I won't mind waiting, just a little while, to read on with Ghost Squadron, again.

This series just keep getting better and better! If you love snarky, tough as nails characters, space adventures and great writing, give this series a chance.

Sarah Noffke has become one of favorite authors and her books never fail to entertain and give me a great adventure. Whether she is writing about werewolves, vampires, witches, or aberrant unicorns, I love her work! I was a little skeptical at first when I saw that she was writing space opera, but I have been pleasantly surprised by this series!

Each book brings on a new adventure and adds in more great characters while tying into the previous books. I love the character development and hope that the authors continue to write many more in this series so that some of the minor characters have more time in the stories.

The narrator does a wonderful job with all of the different characters and you know exactly who is talking even before the book tells you. Wonderful dialects for the different species, great inflections and his narration adds a lot to the enjoyment of the book.

I was given the chance to listen to this book by one of the authors (actually, I threatened to smack her if I didn't get the book!) and chose to review it. But, I would gladly use an Audible credit to purchase this book or any other in the series!

Finally they find out who is behind the brotherhood, it is hard to take down a man who has so much money and power, but they do put a big dent in his plans. The author knows how to bring humor in to the story why leaving us hanging on the edge with danger, leaving some dead and an ending that will make your heart stop. I am really getting into this series and can’t wait to see what happens next.

The narrator does a good job, I really like his character voices and the emotion he brings to the audio. The characters voices go well and seem to fit the characters. I can really hear the power they hold, true emotions and the danger they are going through. No repeating of voice, no volume changes, no background noises. His normal voice is very pleasant to listen to, he knows how to really pull the listener in bring excitement and thrills to the audio

Still a four out of five, even though I still do not like teach, maybe some hope for him in the next book.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fast paced action filled space opera adventures. What I do not like is still teach as I mentioned in the first book review go back and read if you wish to know. Maybe some changes in the new book forthcoming, I still think he’s immature. And I don’t think Bethany and or her dad would really recommend him for a strategic position it goes against the canon of the series. If the hook of the book is getting me in to see how teachers changes, well then you’ve got me. I will give the next book a try. I am glad that some of the things I mentioned maybe addressed in the next book, I can’t wait for it.

I'm, not a religious person by any means, but the coarse language, the want of chaos by those whom promote it shows the complete decline of the US. No Honor, no Respect, No Wisdom left. Every where the coarse language was use could simply be done without it. Simply remove it! It reads much better! I hate giving writers low ratings because it takes a lot of talent and fortitude to do. It is just much more enjoyable without the f bombs and worse. These books certainly can't be rated foe anyone under 18 with the language in it. Even put out versions without the language, you'd find a whole other audience to buy your books.

Evolution continues the fun Ghost Squadron series with it's quirky, cool characters, and fast paced action. The story is engaging and throws in a few unexpected twists. This book is part of a series, so I'd recommend starting with the first book, but I think you can also enjoy it independently. This series is a bit like Star Trek with cursing, so if that sounds fun, be sure to check it out! The narrator of the audio book does a decent job and brings the humor out in the book, but he really doesn't do female voices.

I loved this 3rd book in the Ghost Squadron series. The character growth is amazing in this story and I love the new character. Lots of action, humor, suspense, twists and thrills keep you glued to the page and the narrator does a good job of bringing the story to life. You do need to read these books in order or you will not get the full impact of some parts of this book. It’s a fast action story with great characters that leaves you wanting the next in the series.

Wondered how they'd upgrade Eddie

Still an ongoing story. Another story that believes in human nature being more than me, me, me, and even though the enemy isIw committed to the death, the team is focused on doing the right thing, the right way, for the perceived betterment of all.

Even if you have problems with the philosophy, it certainly resonates with this retired military.

Wow

Another great book. I both love and hate these books sometimes. I love reading about great characters and all the action but my goodness, the cliffhangers sure can be frustrating. However, the one thing I've learned no matter what universe I'm in is to wait to read a series until I know all the books are available. But I also realize that many may not be that way. So no matter what, this is a fantastic series so go ahead and read.

When will it end

Just when they think they are getting close to catching the bad guys something goes wrong. Hatch has found someone he can work with who is a new team member. He is always worried that they will kick he out, but little does he know he is wanting!! Can’t wait to see what happens next!!

Intriguing

This was a rather enjoyable story, it seems that Jules is getting a little more story time. The ending was not really a surprise.... I mean Eddie's was a bit of a surprise. I will continue to hope that Julianna's part will continue to evolve and this won't just be the misadventures of Eddie. 😎I have it on good authority that this should be improving.

My third read from the collaborative efforts of authors Sarah Noffke & Michael Anderle. Not as tightly woven as the first 2 books, but a series of seemingly random encounters pulled together for the book. An exciting, enjoyable read with well-developed, memorable characters. Narrator Chris Abernathy again adds greatly to the book’s enjoyment. I look forward to Ghost Squadron #4.

What awesome character growth. So proud of Jules for finally confronting her past. Absolutely loved this a d I love Knox. But I think Hatch needs a mild chill pill (imo). Can't wait for the next book. Loved the teaser.

So much happened in this story. So much danger, adventure, excitement, realization, soul searching and even almost a finish. Also the discovery of a new ally. Such a great story.

This is great I enjoyed the continuation of the series. What is the deal with Felix? I mean Lance just made sure he couldn't go to Earth and use it as a get rich quick scheme or something. Or is there some unknown story?
