Rebounding Dead
Prudence is dead. She was expecting to join a choir of adoring angels, but instead she's stuck bouncing between Heaven and Earth. She needs Linda's help to figure out what the hell is going on.
Prudence says: Heaven is an awfully odd place. It's not at all like the reverend said it would be! There are hardly any harps, and it actually seems a little sinful. Although it feels blasphemous to even think that. Linda has a hot tub! And alcohol! I'm very confused.
Linda says: Oh God, Sephenia's saddled me with a total innocent. I mean, she's still all fluffy and cute. What the hell are they thinking?
Reverend Jones says: There are evil spirits all around me. They taunt me. When will my Lord rescue me?

Walla Walla had one big thing going for it - a lack of FUN trouble to get into. So when I was a kid, I spent most of my leisure time reading. And writing. And imagining weird stuff. I come by that talent naturally, you know - my mother has a nutty imagination and a nuttier sense of humour.
I grew up, moved to the Big Smoke, made a few dumb mistakes, grew up some more, and eventually realised that I'd always wanted to be a writer. So I started writing again. I wrote, and wrote, and eventually DEAD(ish) turned up in my head, almost fully-fledged, and I decided that Linda, Mike and Trent might just make me famous. *snicker*
I live in Brisbane, Queensland. I spend my days freelancing, writing books, and reading other people's books.
I'm a sucker for Katharine Kerr's Deverry series, Anne McCaffrey's Pern books, and Mercedes Lackey's everything. Less book-related - I'm a vegetarian, fierce feminist, and liberal christian. I wear my hair kd-lang-short, but usually brightly coloured.

This was another novella of creative genius and totally unexpected! Thank goodness Amazon follows what I read or I would nor have known this was released. It was as comedic and creative as the other in this series

Love these short stories. Couldnt put it down.

Very good short story. A solid plot with touches of humor throughout.
