Betrayed by her uncle, Lady Gabrielle Wentworth has been sold into a betrothal with a man who will surely be her ruin. To survive and to avoid being labeled as a witch, she must accept the help of a five-hundred-year-old vampire who is as dangerous to her chaste body as he is to her fragile heart…

Haunted by the woman who so resembles his dead wife, Darius MacLeod finds it impossible to walk away from Gabrielle and her plight. So he spirits her out of London and into his Scottish castle, where he will be torn between his role as her protector and his ravenous desire to turn her into his immortal love for all eternity.

This book is ridiculous. Three young, healthy, strong, male vampires and a young, healthy witch are running from a 60 year old mortal man. Also instead of offering to marry the heroin, the hero moves her into his house and takes her virginity. This book also had too much sex.

A well written Historical erotic/romance set in England and Scotland. The hero, his twin brother and their 'maker' are all vampires over 500 years old. I liked the back story and the Historical details were nicely done. (Except for the mention of men's pants - should be trousers in England)

There are M/M scenes, but nothing really descriptive as the relationship is not explored fully because they are side characters. Needless to say though, I really felt their love for each other and those scenes were beautifully written. There are many descriptive sex scenes between the H/h throughout. Our heroine is supposed to be a witch too, so you have to take the whole story with a grain of salt.

I have read several books by this author and intend to read more. The author also writes under the name Julia Templeton. 3.5 stars for this entertaining vampire read. 🙂

I didn't like the main couple. They only seemed to have a sexual relationship.Just skipped over their scenes(which were majority of the time sex scenes only).
I liked Demetri(Darius' brother) and Remont's love story so after 80 or so pages skipped to only their scenes.
