Until You Came Along

Rate this book
“I love him, but I love you too.”

Aumora Puri’s perspective of love was black and white until loving two men became her norm. Harboring beauty and brain brought options, and she was unwilling to choose the greater of the goods. In a constant war between considering what was right and acting as such, she dodged her truth by feeding herself and the men she loved excuses. Each day, she lived in fear of the inevitable occurring, wondering if she should expose herself or wait upon the universe to reveal her dirty secrets.

Hendrix Turner was a soulful charmer she never imagined she was starving for until approached. Handsome with a hustle that could intrigue any woman out of their precious time, it was hard to turn him down with competence that persistent. Well aware of her role and the way she was playing it coy, Hendrix tries to make it easier on her by disappearing from her life to leave her with the one her heart began with. However, true love couldn’t be escaped, and Aumora was certain he was where her heart would end.

Love had never been as perplexed as it was becoming for the lovers. They learn how complicated things can become when love offers you two roads to travel.

Omg!!!!

I can’t even begin to describe how I feel after that ending... I don’t even know where to begin. This book took me on an emotional ride that I wasn’t expecting. I was expecting to want Mora to choose Kingston, the one she started with, the one who was so sweet and attentive and gave her everything she ever desired... but that expected want was short lived because Hendrix kept popping up and stealing my heart, wrapping me up in his web of intrigue, making me question who was really right and who was really wrong in the “situationship”. I’m like Mora; torn between two men who both have the ability to offer a woman the world in their own unique ways. Goodness... this was a very great read and I cannot wait to see how everything unfolds in part two. I’m anxious!

Wow! This was my first read by this author but it will not be my last. The love triangle going on in this book had me on edge the entire read. It's hard for me to say who I want more; Hendrix or Kingston. They were both delicious in their on ways. Can't wait to see what happens in the next installment.

If you can’t have the one you love ...

I enjoyed reading the story between Kingston and Amoura. Amoura got on my nerves throughout this whole story, she reminded me so much of myself in past dealings but her greediness caught up to her! I can’t wait to read part 2, good job Shawnice!

Nice change

This book was a nice change to the man-with-commitment-issues narrative. I am looking forward to part two, but I hope it doesn’t end up dragging on for 3 or 4 books!

My first read from this author, so I will check out some more of her work.
