True - adjective: That which is accurate or exact.

I dare you to try.
I think you’re my truth.
Terrify me.
Marry me.
Marry me.
Marry me...

Four years ago, Logan Mitchell walked into Tate’s life and challenged him to see it differently.

He dared Tate to try a kiss, when normally he wouldn’t have.
He begged him to take a chance, when he probably shouldn’t have.
But most importantly, he asked Tate to trust that he would love him, and he did. From that moment on, Tate realized exactly what his life had been missing—Logan.

Happily-ever-afters come in many different forms. But for Tate Morrison, there’s only one ending he wants. The one where the guy marries the guy and true love conquers all.

Now all he has to do is tell Logan.

Join Logan and Tate as they finally realize what the rest of us knew all along. That they belong together for better or worse—always.

5++++++++ Sweet Mr. and Mr. Mitchell moments stars

“I couldn’t have envisioned our wedding in a more perfect way than what you created here tonight. You understand me and, by some miracle of fate, love me anyway.” Logan took Tate’s hand and fingered the engagement ring there. “You stole my heart four years ago, and nothing would make me happier than if you would take my name and make it your own. Become William Tate Mitchell. Be mine and let me be yours.”

Marry me tonight.

I dare you

Four years ago, I was dared to Try and I tried, little did I know that I would be meeting my best characters ever. Thank you, Ella Frank, for giving us Logan and Tate.

Four years ago, Logan walked into After Hours and met Tate, the sexy bartender with curls and a baritone, that night two lives were changed forever and for the better.

I love, LOVE this couple. Logan and Tate, Tate and Logan will forever be my number 1 all-time favourite MM couple. No other couple will ever top them. Number 2 is Ty and Zane. My top 2 will remain that way forever.

There is just something about Logan that draws me in. I love this guy. His heart, damn! His heart. Reading this felt like watching Friends series. I feel like i am one of them.

I will fight for you,” Logan vowed. “For us. For everything we are and will become for all my days. And even when it’s all through, when we go wherever it is we go after this, I will find you. I will always find you.

And Tate, bless his stubborn, forgiving, loving heart.

I swear I couldn’t love you more than I do right now, and yet I know I will tomorrow. .

Their swan song was just perfect, the love between these two men is so pure that it consumed me. I want a love like that.

There is nothing more I can say. The reviews say it all.

Nothing much really happens in this book, it is their day to day life, preparation for the wedding and interactions with the family members. These moments were precious, I enjoyed reading them. Will, Tate’s father is just the best.

The Wedding was perfect, It has been a long journey not a smooth one, there were some ups and downs but this two made it through and finally they got the Happily Ever After they deserve.

I Love you Logan Mitchell
Will you be my Husband.

5 Bittersweet stars!

I was dragging my feet when it came to reading this because I knew it was the ending to a love story of two men who changed my reading life forever. These men were my first taste of MM. They were the men who opened my eyes to a new world of love and acceptance. Their loyalty and fierce love for each other throughout this series never wavered. Am I sad there will be no more books? Absolutely. But I think this series couldn't have ended better for these two men. They got their HEA that was much deserved after the journey they took getting there. The first thing I think about when this couple is mentioned is their love for one another. They are an epic couple with an epic love story that I am grateful I will be able to come back to when I start to miss them. It's part of what I love about books. You never lose these characters. You just say good-bye until next time. So that is what I am doing. Saying good-bye until next time.

I can not be but disappointed about where Robbie's story headed in this book. I was so looking forward to a Robbie and Priest book. Now knowing where it is going it has dimmed that excitement extremely low for me. HUGELY DISAPPOINTED.

Happy reading dolls! xx

though this series isn’t without its faults and it did take me quite a while to get through all the books, I am so happy to see Tate and Logan get their HEA, officially. 💍🥹

I love them sm and I could keep reading about them: from doing mundane little things, their witty banter, spicy time, and all their in between sweet and special moments together. truly, such a beautiful ending for a couple who has been through so much up and down to finally get to where they are now: still very much head over heels in love, beyond happy and at peace, secure, and stronger than ever in their bond/relationship.

I’ll definitely miss these two. 🤭🫶🏼

Review @ Vanilla & Spice Books

To say I was thrilled when Ella Frank announced this year that she was ready to write the last chapters of Logan and Tate's story would be an understatement. I was over the moon. How is it that it's over already? This is the last book in the Temptation series and it's time to wish the lawyer and his bartender well and send them off into their Happily Ever After. And while I'm so happy for them there is a kind of melancholy that I can't stave off.

How is it possible to love two fictional characters so much and make you feel sad when you have to let them go? I have spent so much time with these two yet I still crave more and it's good that we'll be able to get glimpses of their HEAs in the author's future books.

In TRUE Logan and Tate show once more that their relationship is built on a strong foundation. They fight like every couple, they make up in the way only these two can, with raw emotion and combustible chemistry beneath the sheets. There is nothing they can't do or overcome together and this is the feeling you get when reading the last installment of the series.

“But that’s what love’s supposed to do sometimes, right? Hurt? It beats us around every now and then to make sure we’re paying attention. To make sure we know that, yes, that’s the person who really matters the most.”

When I look back I see how much Logan has changed over the course of these books. He is still this arrogant, eloquent man but his speech doesn't come out unfiltered any longer. Or let me rephrase, he knows now when he has to tread with caution. Mostly. Logan is softer around the edges and we have Tate to thank for the chance to get to see that. He shows us the best version that Logan can be - a person who fights for what is right, protects those he loves but isn't unforgiving.

“Deep down inside, under this bravado you show the world, is a very sweet man, Logan Mitchell.”

Interestingly, Tate hasn't changed as much as Logan. That's not a bad thing though, Tate is still fiercely loyal, sweet and mellow, easy-going with a lot of mischief added to the mix. There is nobody better for Logan than this guy, their personalities complement each other in the best possible way.

Their relationship is heartwarming, it has the banter, the sweetness, the tension we have come to love. They are best friends, lovers and soul mates and in no other book it's more obvious than in this one.

“He makes you a little bit stupid, Logan Mitchell.

Logan and Tate are supported by a fantastic side cast - I love Cole's and Logan's relationship, how close they are, Tate's and Rachel's lovely friendship and finally, Will. God, I wish my father was like that. He is the epitome of a good parent.

A Son's Prayer. Dear God, make me the kind of man my father is.

A Father's Prayer. Dear God, make me the kind of man my son thinks I am.

Ella Frank ties up all loose ends, and I loved that she didn't go the cheesy route and made everything OK with a pretty bow. Thus is life, some things just can't be fixed. She delivers quite a twist which will see a resolution in the next series she is going to write.

Ms. Frank sent the bartender and his lawyer off on a good way, you know they will be more than OK. For me, it is bittersweet to say goodbye, I know Logan and Tate better than my next door neighbors, they were among the first MM romance books I read and they have been my favorites for a long time now. While TRUE doesn't pack the angst of TATE it was a highly emotional, beautiful story about two men who were meant to be together. It's that inevitability of their love, the strength of it that is the heart and soul of this series. Thank you for the ride, Ella.

This is it. It’s not too late to say “Yes”. This is what we’ve been waiting for. We got our invitation. Time for the ceremony and it’s perfection.
"Marry me tonight. I dare you."

“I accept your dare, Mr. Morrison. It’s time. Let’s get married.”

There’s something about these men and the way they’re written that just does it for me. I love the way they talk to each other (because OMG H.O.T.) but also the way they talk and interact with their friends and family. Their love for each other is reflected in their love for others and in turn, the love for the two of them.
“Thank you. Thank you for raising my best friend. For raising the best man I have ever met.”~Logan and Will

They’re not perfect. They fight and say things they can’t take back but they always work it out. They always come back to each other and say what they feel.
"They didn’t always get to the same point at the same time, but when they did, it was with a startling clarity that was unshakeable—it was also the most beautiful fucking thing in the world"

I swear I swooned and smiled the entire time. This was a perfect ending to their story.
“I will fight for you,” Logan vowed. “For us. For everything we are and will become for all my days. And even when it’s all through, when we go wherever it is we go after this, I will find you. I will always find you.”~Logan

“I swear I couldn’t love you more than I do right now, and yet I know I will tomorrow.”

Umm...Can I have some more stars please, Goodreads, because 5 isn't nearly enough right now.

For True, and for my firsts (and forever favourites), Logan and Tate, and to dearest Ella, I WISH TO GIVE YOU ALL OF THE STARS!

“You’re everything I didn’t know I should be looking for, and if you still want me and I’m not too late, I’m hoping you’ll do me the honor of marrying me, Logan Mitchell.”

Logan and Tate's final chapter was pure romance perfection. Anyone who knows me is well aware that I prefer series over standalone reads, preferring to follow couples I adore through their first moments together all the way through to their hard fought happily ever afters and beyond, ideally spanning over years or decades of their lives. So hearing Logan and Tate were getting three more books on top of their original trilogy left me ecstatic, because not only was I happy to ride their delicious love train all the way to the station, I also trusted Ella Frank, unequivocally, to deliver me there safely and with my heart fully intact, and mostly likely overflowing.

“Sometimes, you make me wish that we were the only two people in the world. And the way you look at me like now… God, Logan. It’s like I’m the only one in yours.”

The second part of this series - which I like to think of as one epically delicious epilogue - far surpassed even my wildest dreams for Logan and Tate's future happiness. Sure, there are hard times and lots of trials to overcome, internal and external to their relationship, but every single moment, whether good or bad, just made these two a stronger couple whose love continued to expand and intensify as the years went on.

“You know how people always use that expression: I’ve never been happier in my life?”...“Well, I mean it,” Tate said, and caught Logan’s chin in his hand. “I’ve had so many amazing moments since you walked into my life, and I know I’m going to have so many more. But right now, here in this moment, I’ve never been happier in my life.”

Tate and Logan will forever hold the most special of places in my heart and I cannot thank Ella enough for writing their story. I loved every minute of Tate and Logan's journey, through the hard times and the good, and I could not have dreamed up a more perfect ending for this beloved couple if I tried.

“I will fight for you,” Logan vowed. “For us. For everything we are and will become for all my days. And even when it’s all through, when we go wherever it is we go after this, I will find you. I will always find you.”

We're back with our darlings Logan & Tate!

If you haven't read TRY & TAKE & TRUST & TEASE & TATE you should definitely do it now, before reading TRUE - because it's the final book in the series!

description

We start exactly where we left them in the last book.
At the winery for Logan's birthday. Tate finally says YES!
And now it's time to tell the family on Thanksgiving.
And then there's planning to do. Someone wants a fast and small wedding, and someone wants a huge thing!

description

Then there's family and friends and work and clients and tiny little drama moments - nothing majorly bad though - I loved that!!!

Lots and lots of exciting and sexy and adorable and sweet and moving and frustrating moments happening to our two darlings in their last book!

But I'm pretty sure we haven't seen the last of them.
Bar Boy Robbie will get his own books soon! Can't WAIT!!

description

But back to TRUE!

I just LOVED this book.

I never want this series to end! Can't we just make a Netflix show out of it and watch it every day for the rest of eternity?
But this is the end - even though Logan and Tate's happily ever after is only beginning!

TRUE was so very sexy, funny, moving, adorable ... Just perfect!
Some tiny little tears might've been shed.

I just love this series. Those boys and their family and friends - the moments with the nephews and niece and with Cole and Tate's Dad - just AMAZING!

Also, I want to be Tate and Logan when I grow up!

description

I loved every single adorable and funny and sweet and romantic and moving and erotic moment of this book!
And I wanted more ... so much more ... of everything. But of course we can't be with them for every second of their lives - and every series has to end sometime. But I am sure we'll be seeing those boys again one day!

If you haven't read this series yet - why are you even reading my review??? Hurry to amazon and buy TRY !!!

and now an edit pic I made - do NOT look at it if you haven't read the book yet!!!! I'll put it in a Spoiler thingy! Even though it's not really spoiling anything - it's just a quote of a quote, but it's mentioned late-ish in the book.

5 SWOONY STARS!!

I swear I couldn’t love you more than I do right now, and yet I know I will tomorrow

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. Being my first, Tate and Logan will always have a special place in my heart. These last 3 books have been my epilogue loving self’s dream come true, and though at times brutally painful, the reward was the penultimate in romantic conclusions!

This made me smile and cry and bask in the all consuming, epic love Tate and Logan have for each other. A truly wonderful gift from Frank, a gift I didn’t know I wanted but ended up needing. Thank you!

With you there are no walls or boundaries, just the endless possibility of things being better than the day before

Tate and Logan are one of my most favorite couples in MM fiction. It's the "Temptation series" released a few years ago with Try, Take and Trust that made me read MM instead of MF (along with Ethan).

It was sweet to get a bit more of Tate and Logan, as an established couple, in 2017 with the 3 additions delivered by Ella Frank. Kind of a nostalgia trip with an extension of the epilogue of the initial series. However, for me, apart from the evolution of the relationships with family and a spectacular twist in Tate (book5) related to Tate and Logan’s commitment, this addition felt all very mundane.

And this very last instalment was even more so, but with less hotness and banter and **gasp : it pains me to say it** with some repetitions. For me, the highlights of this book were its beginning and ending, focused on Tate and Logan tying the knot. I liked this last part, but more as a confirmation that Tate and Logan are solid together, with nothing that can come between them, than anything else.

I would have preferred that books 4 to 6 were wrapped into one book to complete the awesome, hot and swooning romance of Tate and Logan delivered in the first 3 books.
That said, I haven't change my mind : I give 5++++ stars to Tate and Logan who have a special place in my reading world and fantasies. When it comes to contemporary MM fiction, nothing has yet come close to surpass the enjoyment I had with the first 3 books.

Beautiful ending to this glorious love story

You know, when you finish the final book in a series and all you want is to go back and read the first one just so you can see where that glorious love story started, that you've found something special.

And so it is with this one, the final chapter (at least that we know about) in the epic tale of two men who - on the face of it - should never have worked.

But Logan's a stubborn man and Tate's capable of opening himself up to possibilities and so, with them together, we've been given a glimpse into the powerful force that is love when it's returned a thousandfold.

Ella Frank took a gamble going back to Logan and Tate, having left them with a very strong happy ending after the first three books. Readers could envisage their future together in a life of ups and downs, hot sex but always family and love.

But what she gave readers was something more, a final peek into their lives four years down the line, an absolute happy ever after and possibly the biggest extended epilogue written in three parts for one of the most popular couples in this genre.

There is no actual epilogue in this one, but I can see them both in my mind's eye, fighting and loving and pottering around together to the end of their days, happy knowing they've found their perfect other half and secure in that endless wave of emotions.

Bravo Ella, Logan and Tate do exist, not just for you, but for anyone who picks up these six books and lets their own heart be captured by these two men, even for a little while.

“But that’s what love’s supposed to do sometimes, right? Hurt? It beats us around every now and then to make sure we’re paying attention. To make sure we know that, yes, that’s the person who really matters the most.”

Ella Frank, you are one of a kind. Truly. Thank you for taking a chance. For taking us on a once in a lifetime journey. For creating Logan and Tate. What you have done with this series is something that will always have a special place in my heart.

As we come to terms that this series is really over, I have to say, you still managed to surprise me in the best way possible.

“Thank you. Thank you for raising my best friend. For raising the best man I have ever met.”

That right there? ^^

*swoon*

My favorite quote in this entire series.

True was sort of like an epilogue without actually having an epilogue. What this story was, was that it was an emotional yet a beautiful rollercoaster. It took me on a journey I will always be grateful for. But it also tied up on some loose ends.

“Better than any wish ,” he whispered against Logan’s mouth. “That’s what you are. Better than any wish I could’ve made for myself.”

I'm going to miss the crap out of these guys. Not only were they amazing and own a piece of my heart but they felt real. Like I personally knew them. And I'm super excited for what Ella is bringing us in the future.

I dare you to try.
I think you’re my truth.
Terrify me.
Marry me.

This...was everything. Logan and Tate are my guys, well I guess they’re all of ours. But you know what I mean...these two men sucked us readers into their story in a way that they’re like our best friends...in a way that we all feel invested in what happens to them and involved in their story. They just don’t let you go (I mean...I’ll be at work and randomly be thinking about these guys). So this book, being the book we get to see them take that last step to becoming each other’s in every way, well it’s just an amazing book. They are the same Logan and Tate but better...and more. And omg there are so many sweet parts, sexy parts, funny parts...it had all the parts! I hate that this is the end (just for now, I hope...my fingers are crossed), but this book was incredible, as is the whole series, and if you haven’t started reading this series yet for whatever reason, DO IT! You won’t regret it.

⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱*Glad to be done*⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱

We are now on the six and final book of Logan Mitchell (38) and bartender Tate Morrison (33-34?). I'd like to say they have come far, but by my opinion, they should've reached this place a long time ago. These three last books has been an extended version of book #3, and has been boring, too lovey-dovey and too much sex, nothing happening; barely any 'drama' at all. They have been completely unnecessary; all three of them could've been a epilogue in book three instead of being dragged out for three whole books. Overall, I'm happy for the couple in love, but I'm seriously glad I'm done with them, because I had expected so much more for these three books. Sadly, they didn't live up to my expectations.

“I wanted everything with you, Tate. God, I’d never wanted it more. And there was only one major way that you weren’t mine.”
“Marriage,” Tate whispered, still mystified at the calm way Logan was watching him. He was so at peace with his decision that it radiated off him and seemed to surround Tate, warming every inch of him.
“Yes. Marriage. With you.” Logan trailed his fingers down Tate’s cheek, and when he reached his lips, he said softly, “Tell me again.”
“I can’t wait to become William Tate Mitchell. To become yours.”

Other characters:
Cole Madison, Logan's (half) brother and business partner at the law firm, Mitchell & Madison. Rachel ‘Rach’, a pastry chef and Cole's wife. Has two kids; Thomas (4?) and his little sister, Lila (2 and a half).
Diana Cline, Tate’s ex-wife. A bitch.
Jill, Tate's sister. Is trying to fix her mistakes, to apologize to Tate. Her husband, Sam. Cooper (11) and Jonathon ‘Jon’, their kids.
William ‘Will’ Morrison, Tate's father who is awesome and accepting. Is dating a lady by the name of Jackie.
Mason ‘Mase’ Langley, Rachel’s brother and runs the restaurant Exquisite downtown, which he and Rachel owns. Has a little girl named Catherine. His wife Lena, a pediatrician.
Joshua ‘Josh’ Daniels, a client and friend of Cole’s. Has a daughter named Savannah. He owns Creative Construction & Remodeling Company (I think). His wife Shelly, a pulmonologist.
Robert ‘Robbie’ Bianchi (29), a complete flirt. Used to work at The Daily Grind as a barista. The new bar manager at The Popped Cherry; bar owned by Tate and Logan.
Christopher ‘Chris’ Walker, Logan's ex and a abusive (with words), manipulative bastard. Owns half of the biggest architecture firm in Chicago.
Evelyn Mitchell, Logan’s mother. A bad, selfish mother.
Daniel Finley, lawyer at Leighton & Associates; the best in the business when it came to personal injury claims.
Joel ‘Priest’ Priestley, the best criminal law attorney. Is now a third partner at the law firm, Mitchell & Madison. A mystery and
Sherry, Logan's PA.
Julien ‘the Prick’ Thornton, He was the winner of Chef Master (the reality show). Now he’s only one of the most famous chefs in the world.

“Okay. I’ll come.”
Tate grabbed his own coat, and before he walked out of the room, he couldn’t help himself from saying, “Not at the party, I hope. Only Logan and I are allowed to come at his place of business.”
When Robbie’s mouth fell open, Tate said, “We’ll see you tonight. It starts at eight. Don’t be late.”

The road has been long and eventful for Logan and Tate but they finally got their happy ending. Six books filled with angst, heartbreak and romance. True definitely definitely delivers romance and steam cause that’s exactly what Logan and Tate brings out of each other.
I enjoyed how everything came together and all loose ends was resolved. I especially enjoyed the family aspect and dynamics throughout True. Tate’s father Will was incredible and became a father to Logan too. His support was never ending. Tate’s sister found her way back to her brother and their father and it was heartwarming. Logan’s brother Cole and his wife Rachel was fantastic. I love these two and their kids.

True is all about love, finding your soul mate and celebrating it. I had this warm and fluffy feeling inside me while reading True. Logan and Tate complement each other to perfection and their chemistry is delicious. Yes, there’s no big surprises along the way but to me it’s all about their journey and what a journey it has been. These two men have grown so much individually and together as a couple so this final book couldn’t have ended any differently or better. I’m very content and satisfied with their ending and yet again also a little sad. Logan and Tate has given me thrills, highs, lows and romance! I thank you.

The Temptation series is one of my favorites featuring the gay for you trope. True is the sixth book in the series. It has been four years since Logan first dared Tate to try having a relationship with a man, and in that time the two have been through ups and some devastating downs. They are well overdue for their happy ending.
“Like the air in my lungs or the beating of my heart, you are vital to my survival.”
The entire book is about Logan and Tate’s engagement and upcoming wedding. It is a little sappy at times, but my heart swelled at the genuine love they share. I admit I got choked up a few times. They are blessed with peace and reconciliation, and there is virtually no drama.
“I swear I couldn’t love you more than I do right now, and yet I know I will tomorrow.”
Robbie is back and as irreverent and flamboyant as ever. I’m excited to read his story. In the meantime, I was happy to enjoy this heartwarming conclusion to Tate and Logan’s love affair.

We've come full circle in the epic love story of one Logan Mitchell and one Tate Morrison. It's been a whirlwind ride for two improbably perfect male specimens and yet I've loved every second of it because just below the surface of gorgeous masc guys, with more than healthy libidos perpetually hot for each other there's a believable human story, with real emotions, and a plausible progression.

This is the final installment of the series and it's a very satisfying end mostly because it's not an end. Not really. It's more like a last? visit with dear friends seeing them on the next stage of their HEA. Bring your tissues. You will need them. Where the first book in this series was all about LUST this final one is about emotion. It's about the bone deep connection forged by those who truly love one another, it's about the beauty of our chosen families, the ones who are there to catch us when the others have failed. It's about trying to hold on tight to that love that makes everything better, perfect, and scary:
"I love you," Tate stated, as he brought Logan's fingers up to his mouth to kiss his knuckles. "So much that it sometimes scares me and sometimes makes me stupid."

Don't we all want a love like that? It was utterly romantic. In the best sense.

I love how open Logan is, how naked in his emotions, on what he wants. I love how Tate is willing to lay everything on the line, lay himself open to and for Logan in every way possible. It was Logan after all, with his daring and persistence, who woke Tate to the life he now has and loves, it was Logan who fought for him, even wresting him from the jaws of death. It's Logan who will have him and in turn be his. Swoon.

The rest of the beloved characters make an appearance and are wonderful as ever. We even get a visit from Diana and it's sweet. No harpies in sight. Speaking of harpies it's no secret for those who have been keeping up with this series that our guys each have mother issues and I'm delighted to say that Ella Frank didn't go for the easy, Hallmark solution. She gave us truth. Sad. Disappointing. Perhaps infuriating. But truth.

***I did this whole series with both books & the audio by Shannon Gunn. He is, at certain moments, a bit of an acquired taste, but I don't regret listening to him. As the series progressed his characterization of Logan, in particular, and most of the others has only grown and deepened. He's not just reading. He's doing a performance. And pretty unforgettable one at that.***

This was nice and all but I still stand by my opinion that 3 books were unnecessary and one book was more than enough, I mean, even after 6 books we didn't get an epilogue.

Welllll..... that ending made me cry so much! Logan and Tate are just perfect for each other 🥰

I'm going to miss being inside their heads, but I'm excited to see what happens with Robbie!

Here we are at the final chapter of Tate and Logan’s story, at least any they’ll star in. I’d like to think we’ll catch occasional glimpses in at least one future story. Ella Frank has written a lovely coda for the series, tying off threads from previous episodes into tidy ends, with Tate and Logan’s happily ever after as the big bow on top. Unfolding over the course of the holidays, our couple engages in celebrations with family and friends, revisiting a few memories along the way.

Like most long term relationships, the fiery passion of the first three books has burned down a bit. There are fewer sex scenes, still hot but the level of urgency, tension and frequency isn’t quite the same as they began with. The men have mellowed too, but Logan hasn’t entirely lost his arrogance or blunt mannerisms. Tate is still as independent and strong-willed as ever. I think Ella Frank has done a good job of transitioning the intense dynamic in the first three books into two stable and confident partners.

I’m sure I would have been content with my own visualization of an HEA after book three, but the additions to the series, particularly this final book, were an enjoyable way to revisit. Scattered throughout the narrative, and strongly in the closing chapters, it gets awfully sweet, sappy and even a bit cheesy at times. Yet, I didn’t care a bit, wallowing in all the romantic flourishes that I could ever want in an epic sort of romance. Perhaps epic is an exaggeration but I fell in love, like so many others, in the moment Tate promised to “Try” and exacted the same promise from Logan. I bid them a bittersweet farewell!

What can be said about this book that hasn't already been said? Probably nothing. Every once in a while comes characters that grab a reader and never let go. Logan and Tate are characters like that for so many including me. When I started Try, I never knew what a thrilling journey it would be. I laughed, and I cried for them. To me they were not fictional characters, but very real. This book was bittersweet because it was the end, and I cried many tears.😭😭😭 I can't imagine letting them go, but I hope to see them as secondary characters in other stories. Their problems and struggles were real. They were not perfect, but "imperfectly perfect" for each other. Their love for each other in the face of adversity is a thing of beauty and comfort. They will never be forgotten. So beautiful. And can I say Priest and Robbie and ... Holy Shit!!😵😵 Can't wait.

Ahhh! It finally came! These two finally got married! And it was bEAUTIFUL!

Most of this book was tying off some last loose ends - Logan dealing with Evelyn once and for all, Tate finally in a pretty good place with his sister, and old face or two popping up to get some closure, all that - and then Tate and Logan announcing their engagement to those who matter the most, planning the wedding, and then it happening. Woot woot!

We get to see Logan and Tate continue to be a strong, solid, head over heels in love couple and I LOVE it. A fight is thrown in the book mostly, I think, for the make-up sex lol. But it also showed that even when they fight, these two aren't going to crash and burn, they're mainly just gonna have hot make-up sex ;) (But also apologize as they should).

There were sweet, corny moments throughout this and I loved all them. These two are so in love and it's been four years and they still can't look at each other without 'heart eyes' It makes my heart melt. Bring on the sweet corniness! As long as they two are happy I'm happy.

I'm not even mad at Tate for having said 'no' at first in the last book anymore, because Logan makes a good point that Logan had had weeks to come to terms with and be sure he wanted to marry, and Tate needed the same. Seeing as Tate had thought Logan never wanted to get married, it seems like he put marriage out of his mind, thinking it would never come up, until it did and he needed to get over his own issues and fears to get there. Still will never enjoy that moment when he said 'no' but I get it more now.

Ughhh, these two! I honestly see these three additional books as not only getting them to a place of marrying each other, but kinda also just...getting to see them live their lives, together, with all the challenges life brings. I know most people don't like established couple things, but I do. I'm a sucker for it - as long as they stay together through it all.

Also, it's a pretty damn solid happy ending with this. The wedding just *happy sigh* what they say, how they look at each other, everything about it was sweet, intimate, and romantic as fuckkkk. If you love these two and have continued on with them, you will LOVE the ending! I know I did.

Like Ella Frank said at the end in an AN, I'm sad to let these guys go, to say goodbye to them for good. But I'm hoping they pop up here and there in other books focused on other couples, being in the background, being happy and in love.

Lastly, so it seems the Priest/Robbie series I was intrigued about is actually going to be them and another, so it's going to be menage/poly and that's not my thing, so gonna have to sit that series out. But I hope that those who do enjoy reading menage books enjoy that series. Maybe I can ask peeps if there will be any Logan/Tate background moments to share just so I can read those...hmm...lol.

Anyway! Fantastic end to a fantastic series. Loved it! <333

Perfection!!! Perfect ending for Tate & Logan.

Not much I can really say at this moment cause I feel overwhelmed with joy and sadness all at the same time. So happy for Tate & Logan but sad for me because this series is done...

I'm grateful for Ella Frank for giving me these men who were perfectly imperfect . They were my first MM coulple and since that day I haven't looked back and stayed in this genre.

This series was already my comfort read and with this last book this will be a series I will revisit many times.

It's time to say goodbye, regretfully but I'm sure we'll be seeing snippits of their lives together in Robbie's series. I've become really fond of this guy and I can't wait to read his perfectly imperfect lovestory.

So no goodbye for me. As Ella mentioned Tate & Logan are just only a book away. On my kindle and in paperback whenever I feel the need to cuddle them.

So just one more time;

Logan Mitchell

All of the stars for this perfect conclusion. This was my most anticipated book of the year. I tried to read slow to savor every word of it. This is probably my favorite couple in any romance ever. They are absolute magic together. They went through so much to get to this point in their story and it was worth every bit of it.

And the heat that these two generate is absolutely scorching 🔥🔥🔥 The secondary characters are amazing and add to the story instead of taking away from it.

I think I highlighted half of the book lol. I can’t wait to read it again. I would love to get more books about these two in the future. I would read every single one. If that’s not to be then at least I know we’ll get some cameos in other stories.

Ok so enough of the fangirling here. If you’re a fan of Logan and Tate, this book is a MUST read. If you haven’t tried any of this series, I would recommend starting at the beginning and enjoying the ride.

I'm a firm believer books 4-6 of the rest of this series should have all been one book instead of dragging out the same plot for three books; I was happy with the way Trust ended, and honestly, nothing really happens with this one, but all in all, I had to round up three stars because I'm still really sentimental about this couple.
I'll probably read her new series about Robbie because he was my favorite side character from here. Alas, it's won't be until next spring.
