The Omega's Christmas Wish

Rate this book
I will not jump my sexy boss.
Not in the car.
          Not under the stars.
Not at the light.
          Well... maybe I might.
No! I will not jump him here or there.
I will not jump him anywhere.
I will not jump my sexy boss. I will not jump you, To-bi-as!

TOBIAS is a salty, snarky omega who doesn’t play well with others. But does he really need more friends than the sister he adores and the puppies at the shelter where he volunteers? The only thing keeping Tobias' job safe is his pliable assistant, Malcolm — an alpha who knows his way around code and takes care of everyone and everything for which Tobias has no patience.

MALCOLM is willing to be an omega’s PA, if it means getting a foot in the door at a prestigious tech company. It’s like a paid internship — Tobias helps him grow as a programmer, and he provides a buffer between Tobias and the world at large. Without Mal’s help, the little guy would either starve or freeze to death… or get stabbed by another coworker.

When an alpha-omega matchmaker sets them up on a date, one stolen kiss confirms what their wolves already knew: they’ve found their True Mate. Fate may want them together, but their precariously-balanced careers could very well keep them apart.

Perhaps all it takes is one Christmas wish…

THE OMEGA’S CHRISTMAS WISH is a 46k-word, light & funny, wolf shifter, fated mates, A/O, MPREG, paranormal, gay romantic comedy. This holiday tail contains male pregnancy and steamy scenes for mature audiences only, as well as a pouncy niece, a pretend date, a puppy named Kitty, a potential litter of platypuses, and some knotty holiday fun.

Fun, witty, and heartwarming!
A reluctant Alpha, Malcolm, is satisfied working for a feisty Omega, Tobias. The experience will help his resume.
No other has been able to get along with brash Tobias, until Malcolm. Malcolm understands him, and hands back some of the snarky banter, and it works. This is a cute story, flows smoothly, it is interesting, gets a bit complicated, then sorts out, plus it's sexy and sweet. There is shifting, and interaction with various shifters in the family.
Loved the Seuss-type rhyming !
The characters are terrific, with some wacky family behavior, but loving all throughout.
I liked the two POVs and the sharp, loving epilogue is fabulous !
ENJOY !

This is a cute humorous little read. It’s a slightly different take on the shifter genre. And it should have worked brilliantly for me but it didn’t really and I’m not sure why. I liked the characters and laughed out loud several times.

The problem was it just didn’t hold me. When I’m reading I’m hooked and begrudge putting my kindle down. But with this I wasn’t picking it up. Even my husband asked what was wrong because I wasn’t reading.

The reviews are good (which is what drew me in the first place) and the book is nice enough. So I’m putting this one firmly down to me not the book.

This funny little gem was a pleasant surprise! The humor reminded me of Lily Morton-type laughs, snarky and cute and I really did find myself frequently LOLing.

This was a short quick read that I liked. Tobias Sanderson is an omega code writer who needs an Alpha. Malcolm takes the job as his assistant to get his foot in the door he moved away from his family in Montana to NY. I liked both of these characters Tobias is not like other omega's he likes his job and he is good at it. When these are set up on a shifter matchmaking service they kiss and realize that they are true mates. They try to hide the fact that they are hooking up. This was a sweet holiday read with lots of decorations and a niece who is a shifter jaguar. This was my first time reading this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

Tobias was a grumpy omega werewolf who was damn good in his job. He was so good that the company he was employed in had a hard time to find a suitable candidate to be his assistant/bodyguard. Malcolm was not your typical alpha. He had no problem with working under the omega even though aside from the social culture, Tobias had quite a reputation in his temper. As days and years gone by, both have found a way to work with each other and slowly there's something growing between them. One fateful mishap and intervention, there's much more happening between them.

Such a jolly and sweet read! I'm quite sad it's a standalone and I really hope another book will be coming out for the side character pair.

Once again, it's not the book, it's me. DNF @50%

The story is fun and cute and adorable.

A younger Alpha is hired as a PA/caretaker/bodyguard to take care of an Omega boss, an incredibly talented computer programmer (though moody, yet adorable and often absent minded).

The Alpha turns out to be quite good for his boss, and three years later, refusing to leave the company to advance his own career in favor of staying with the Omega, the Alpha finds himself on a blind date... with his Omega boss.

A very happy book with family, small shifter children and shelter dogs.

4 stars for the first 50%, although I can't continue due to the sheer cuteness. I need to find myself some dark BDSM to scrub off all the sugar, the glitter and overall cheerfulness.

***I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book***

This is only the second book I've read from this author but this book is as delightful as the first book I read. The story is sweet, funny, and has an added twist where an alpha named Malcom Reyes is the "PA or personal assistant" to a snarky, forgetful, and socially inept omega "boss" named Tobias Sanderson. The company has a no employee fraternization policy which helps to keep the two at a distance from each other although their attraction is slowly eroding their willpower.

Three years into this PA and boss relationship Malcom just hasn't been able to tear himself from Tobias' orbit to get another programming position where he would be a boss or at least his own boss. It's Christmas time again and this Christmas brings with it a boat load of family drama. The situation at Tobias' apartment just keeps getting more complicated and cramped until he feels the needs to run away. Running away from his own apartment and family during Christmas is his attempt at saving his sanity. This 30 something year old omega is found out by his "alpha/assistant" attempting to camp out in his office. Being Tobias' alpha and friend he convinces Tobias to go home with him. At Malcom's apartment they spend their first night of many together with lots of pizza, a game or two of Call to Arms and then some sweet, romantic and very ill advised love play. This is where things start to push the two into an intimate relationship that they both swore to themselves they weren't going to initiate with each other.

This slippery slope brings about a number of sweet escapades in their effort to try to find a label for their growing feelings/relationship. They are going to have to decide what their relationship really is. Are they willing to wait and see where things go for the two of them? What possible issues are they going to have to avoid or work around? What other obstacles are the two going to have to overcome before they can reach/claim their HEA? You'll find yourself laughing, sighing, and rooting for the two men as they attempt a relationship. I know that you're going to really enjoy the book so sit down, get comfortable, and read it for yourself.

this Christmas shifter tale. Especially that it takes place in the world of the Moore characters!
Tobias is a hard omega to work with and by company regulations has to, basically, be babysat by an alpha as his work isn't trusted. Enter Malcom. He's moved away from his family's farm to make it in the tech world. What was only supposed to be a stepping stone becomes a 2/3 year stop. Looking after Tobias in every way apart from that of a partner becomes a big part of Malcolm's life but he takes the step to use a match making service to help find his true match. Unbeknownst to him, he's set up by the service with Tobias. Both agree to go ahead with the date as it's already set up and paid for but neither anticipate the reaction they have to each other.
Becoming closer over the following weeks and Tobias' family drama leads to them spending "quality time" together that both enjoy but cannot commit to as it is completely against the rules at work. Things never go to plan though....
Love the characters in this story. Tobias may be hard to work with but he just doesn't put up with bull like omega's are mostly known to do. Malcolm end up truly taking care of Tobias on a daily basis even before they get closer and it's a great way of showing care. Tobias' family, especially his niece are wonderful and bring them together over Christmas not liking that Malcolm would have spent the time alone. Buzz and Julian from Love You Moore are involved as Malcolm's support and give him friendship and advice throughout.
The outcome should make everyone happy, with their family and work lives but also setting out characters for a possible next couple.
I love the setting, completely adore the Moore universe already, and welcome the addition of shifters to this world. I've got my fingers crossed for more in the future!

This is a paranormal book set in the same world as The Moore Romance Series. I was surprised how easily the two worlds and characters fit together without any contradictions. Because the Moore Series came first and there is no mention of paranormal. It was an intriguing book the writing was great. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters delightful. The characters were well developed and thought out. Tobias Sanderson and Malcolm Reyesare the MC’s of this book. There are some characters from the Moore Series. Such as Julian and Buzz. There was humor, wolves, shifters, puppies, true mates, family and friends, Christmas, a knife wielding coworker, a creepy boss, name confusion and so much more in this book.

Here is a quote from the book, “I keep the outside world from having to deal with him directly, so there haven’t been any incidents since I’ve arrived.” “Overreactions to their own stupidity,” I muttered. “Yes. I protect hime and his position in the company from stupid overreactions.” He had me there.” And my favorite which is in the blurb “I will not jump my sexy boss. Not in the car. Not under the stars. Not at the light. Well… maybe I might. No! I will not jump him here or there. I will not jump him anywhere. I will not jump my sexy boss. I will not jump you, To-bi-as! ”. There is more but you will need to read the book which I can highly recommend. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

This was a deliciously sweet, romantic, m/m, Mpreg romance that was a little strange but comforting. I am getting used to Alpha's being portrayed as weak, stupid and in need of an omega who is smarter than them and often times bigger. I guess I liked it when the alpha took care of the omega and his is small, smart, but in need of protecting. This story is like that...mostly. Somehow the arthur combined the two with the alphamor like a beta, but still smart, protective and clever and the Omega is small, extremely smart, but in need of being taken care of. Malcolm is an alpha who gets a job working under Tobias, an omega. Because the company has a policy of omegas having an alpha to take care of them because they are more likely to forget to eat or sleep as they work, Malcolm is ideal for the job. The two discover they are intended mates, but the companies policy makes it so that they must keep their relationship a secret. Julian from the "Moore Family," and Buzz, one of the security men in the Moore's stories are in this book. A new dog, Mpreg, secrets, heats, knotting, interfering and loving family make this a delightful holiday story.

So Mal is an alpha, a submissive one, Tobias is his boss. As an omega with an alpha career, he never expected to have a true mate. Because, there no alpha willing to do an omega job for him, not to mention as his life partner.
But Mal just took the job three years ago and they getting along just fine. Until one day, a matcmaker dating app set them to one blind date.
One date leads to another, and they're both can't deny anymore. And sex happened, and the 'human largest condom' didn't really work for Malcolm. LOL.
So a tore condom later, leads to uncontrolled hormones, and they have to admit that they need each other.

This is an adorable, super cute story with puppies, Julian from Moore family appears as a cameo, still with the 'hat'!
I enjoyed this a lot, it's a comfort read on holiday seasons, all fun, no tears and a HEA!

The wish that comes true

This was sexy, funny, and had a wonderful Christmas spirit to it.

Malcolm is an alpha working as programmer and 'babysitter' for his omega boss Tobias. After plenty of pairings not working, Tobias and Malcolm work really well together, each playing off the other's strengths and making a good team. When they end up on a blind date together they realize they can be good together in other ways too, if they can make it work in their lives.

The whole setup of the jobs showed the type of dynamic that is expected from a/o relationships, but turned it around. Tobias didn't need someone to make him productive at work, or protect him; at the top of his field he does great work on his own. But it was expected an omega couldn't work alone. Malcolm immediately saw that wasn't what Tobias needed and was instead there in the capacity of support and did great at that. People kept saying that Malcolm was a 'submissive alpha' but what I saw was an equal partnership. It was a relationship that evolved from working well to love and joy and it was very well done and a good read!

Sweet, steamy, quite funny, and very Christmasy! I loved Tobias and found his need for a keeper endearing. His feisty personality leads to some very humorous moments (wait til you get to the eggs!). Malcolm is the protective and organized guy that everyone wishes they had, running interference with coworkers, jilted dates, and family alike. These two work together for years before one turning point clues them in that they have great potential to be something more. Of course in this world omegas often get treated as lesser people and the company has a strict no fraternization policy to boot. What to do? In addition to these relationship strains, Tobias finds himself flooded with family for Christmas, turning his nice solitary life upside down. I loved all the Christmas touches and fun traditions that Tobias's family followed. I also really enjoyed the family themselves--especially the sister and the fun bits with the niece. This was just one of those fun reads that you might read on KU but will wind up buying to be sure it's always available for a holiday and romantic (steamy too!) read anytime of the year.

A true feel good and comfort read, I loved Tobias and Malcolm along with the ABO dynamic it was rather different from the usual which I adored. Mal is so sweet and I enjoyed his pov the most, he has some great friends and the way he treats Tobias is adorable. Tobias I thought was amazing and I especially admired his first scene/reputation, Mal and his first meeting was definitely interesting.

The ending is lovely and brings everything together, i liked the family scenes especially Betsy and in general the character building is so good here from the minor to major cast everyone stood out.

Overall a sweet read, that just made me smile so much over these two and Christmas feels all around. True mates and a HEA.

Christmas wish

I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book and will definitely recommend it. Such a beautiful love story. Malcolm has worked for his bossy Omega Tobias for three years. He decided that it's time to find his true mate. Tobias is a difficult man and can't seem to find a mate. His sister Jenny signs him up with the true mate place and he has a date with this mate on his birthday. Both of them are shocked to see each other at this date. They can't date due to a company policy but their wolves don't care. Once they smelled each other they can't run from fate. A beautiful love story that has a happy ending.

Really enjoyable, really funny gay wolf shifter alpha/omega office romance. I can't believe it's the author's first entry in this genre (I can't find any others). One minor question: Most of the book takes place three years after they start working together. Why then did the Alpha say he had to "learn" how to take care of the Omega when he's in heat?
Typos: Numbers should be spelled out, plurals don't have apostrophes, hoard is what a dragon guards (horde is a large group of people), one word (I can't remember which) has the UK spelling (ou instead of o), a couple missing words, and it's "much taller than me," not "than I."

True Mates is a hook when it comes to shifters book. I always love to guess the take of the author when it comes to True Mates. Tobias and Malcolm were cuties, from their work friendship to the eventual dating, forming a family and more. I love the fact there's no drama, no third party instigating or trying to separate them. Besides work ethics, there's nothing against them. I wish I could get a story of Liam tho, I always think second characters are more interesting than the protagonist. I wish Liam will have a book, especially with Nick. It would be very interesting.

🎄👬💜🔥 I really enjoyed this one. The couple (Tobias and Malcolm) were great together; Tobias' family offered a humorous twist as they busy-bodied their way into the relationship and took over his apartment; and Tobias' cat shifter niece Betsy was a little ball of energy and cuteness! Yes, there's steam, but the story envelops the characters in the togetherness and all-things-are-possible atmosphere of a warm family Christmas.

I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author; this is my voluntary and honest review.

My Wish Came True

I received ARC from the author.

Alex always writes stories that make me smile and feel good! When an omega is assigned a very un-alpha-like assistant to help him in the office he gains a bodyguard and a friend as well. Until their feelings deepen and then things get tricky! Betsy is a wonderful character and I'm hoping for a story for Nick and Liam in the future.

This book started out very good. Then it got fine. And then the omega decided to kiss another alpha while on a fake date to protect his relationship with his mate, even though he was incredibly jealous of his mate on a fake date with his friend.

Very disappointing, could've done without that part.

Mal was an amazing alpha and Tobias did not deserve him. Mal kept trying to make Tobias happy and make it easier for them to be together and he was not appreciated.

While I'm familiar with A/B/O, MPREG and shifters, this is my first time reading a story featuring any of them. I really enjoyed this book, as well as Malcolm and Tobias' chemistry. They are perfect for each other and realize it from the off, even if it takes a matchmaker for them to figure it out. Funny, charming and downright adorable at times, this cute romance can be enjoyed any time of the year.

A cute shifter alpha/omega story. Tobias is a snarky omega who has to have an alpha to protect him to keep his job. Malcolm sees the job posting and decides to apply, he gets the job, and it starts a three-year journey as Malcolm and Tobias learn to work together, become friends, and then get set up by a matchmaker.

Tobias and Malcolm were adorable together, Tobias was snarky, and Malcolm knew just how to handle Tobias.

All I can say is: Alex had me LMAO. OMG... platypus, eggs, and Mpreg oh my! I'm still laughing and my family is looking at me like I'm cray cray. I had to read parts of the book to them so they'll understand. They ordered their own copies. Thanks Alex for the Christmas Joy and laughter!

2.5 stars rounded up to 3 stars.

The guys were cute at first. But I could see every plot point coming a mile away. There was no surprise for me.

I was annoyed that because they were afraid of what their boss might do, they each brought someone else to the Christmas party. Especially of Toby's condition. Not cool. And not mature either.

I liked it but I’m not a fan of fated mates who wait for a long time before getting together. In this book, I think they waited for a few years. I guess not by choice as they were both wearing scent blockers but still, the detail is annoying.
