When a hostile race invades Cerbius, a distant planet on the very edge of Alliance territory, Captain Eli Justice fights to defeat them at the point of attack. Meanwhile, his father, General Grant Justice, commander of the Alliance military, implements a plan to defeat the invaders on their home planet.

Unfortunately, danger doesn’t always come from the outside. On Earth, everything the Alliance has built is threatened by the politics and treachery of newly elected leaders.

With "Final Justice," author Steven L. Hawk completes the Justice Trilogy and the adventures of Eli Justice, a soldier whose father changed the world and almost single-handedly created intergalactic harmony between warring worlds. That previous tale was chronicled in the Peace Warrior series. The younger Justice has been handed a new assignment after securing a planet rich in the metal agsel, which drives nearly all space-driven economies. Earth is no longer alone. After having its peace loving society enslaved, the planet is now part of an alliance of races that faces its own challenges. Eli and his team succeeded in chasing off another group from a planet in alliance space and securing its agsel. But the alien race of squid-like beings plan a comeback. They want revenge and the riches and will stop at nothing to win. Meanwhile, Eli and his rangers must try to survive. I love Hawk's writing. He creates characters of substance, whether they're big aliens with bat-like ears or a castaway from a collective who calls himself Free. He details their internal struggles and packs them with emotion and desires that resonate with the reader. (Me in this case.) I especially like how he doubled back to include the thinking of Grant Justice, Eli's dad, who is now General Grant. Meanwhile, he explores just what's happening on earth as peace returns and politics takes over. The determination of some factions to ignore the dangers of reality come off as downright scary. In his author's notes, Hawk says he likes the story arc of a trilogy. But I must admit, despite the highly satisfying ending, I wanted more.

Without gushing on and on about the Justice trilogy, I'll sum up my review by simply stating that the difference between a good story, and an epic story is quite simple. A good story tickles your senses as you keep imagining what is going on as you turn the pages. An epic story, especially this final story in the trilogy, is that you live it. I swear to you, I feel like I've been to Cerbius and survived the war! Every character is so honed and the storyline so perfectly written that I miss everyone in the book already! Steven, you are gifted.

Final Justice book 3

Again to author to me hit te ball out of the park. This story line and the the way he ties everything together is excellent. You will not regret reading this book. The author is correct in writing a trilogy. Almost all story lines past the third book lose their intensity to stay fresh.

Good space Sci Fi .

I enjoyed th as three books, I know because I stayed awake when everyone else was sleeping. For some I think heroes should be riightous , L also be live that some of the laws of earth in this story are wrong but are rectified by General justice.

A great series

This trilogy has an interesting storyline as well as great characters. There is lots of action and suspense. I recommend reading the peace warrior trilogy first so you can really enjoy this series.

Good space opera/military space war story. The character development is great and the descriptions of the settings are very good. There's just a little romance thrown in there too! Overall it was a good story (all 3 books!) and worth reading.
