Real stories from real people in the Hereafter. Afterlife Adventures lets you compare different people's experiences from the Afterlife.
Is there life after death? Is there proof? What is it like to die? What really happens in Heaven? In this book you can compare different people's accounts of what it was like for them to 'die', what happened to them next, and what happened after that... The Afterlife stories include people who passed over from a heart attack, from an accident, from a long illness, in a battle zone and so on.
Afterlife Adventures includes a whole chapter, When a Child 'Dies', dedicated to the heart-rending issue of what happens when a child passes over. This includes poignant messages from children who have been able to come back and tell their parents about their experience. You will discover why parents of children who 'die' before they were born are in for a big surprise when they pass over ( life starts at conception and the child continues to mature in the Afterlife).Get tips on being prepared for the move over there in the How to Have a Good Afterlife. Get to know about the 'nitty gritty' of the practical realities of the Afterlife. Understand why some people find it hard at first to believe that they have actually 'died' - as passing over was so easy. One man was so busy chatting away to his gardener that he did not even notice that he had 'died' till he saw that the gardener was panicking about something. He looked down and was bemused to see his own body lying on the ground. He started to wonder, "Am I dead?" and then saw his long-missed mother there to welcome him with open arms.Be reassured as to why the average person has a far better experience in the Afterlife than on Earth. Learn how the religious idea of a 'Judgment Day' is really a metaphor for the Law of Attraction as it works out in the Afterlife realms. You will also discover why there is no such thing as 'eternal punishment' and that the path of progress and evolution is open to everyone.Explore ideas about what people actually 'do' in the Afterlife and why you don't have to float around on a cloud and get bored. We also look at big questions such as how Afterlifers (people in the Afterlife) experience God, the role of important religious figures in the Afterlife and issues such as what causes some people to become Earth Bound and how to help them. The chapter on Reincarnation and Rebirth offers thought-provoking ideas that give a very different slant on this fascinating topic. We explore how connecting with a Group Soul allows us to fully experience an 'incarnation' without having to actually incarnate.Afterlife Adventures only asks you to have an open mind and explore what people have to say about their own passing over. Why not replace superstition with facts; replace ignorance with practical information; replace grief with hope and comfort; and replace fear and dread with love and wonder? William Fergus Martin writes on Forgiveness and Reconciliation. He contributes to the Global Rewilding Initiative as a wy to help himself and others become reconciled with the natural world.
This book was a Godsend to me. I have always believed that life goes on beyond physical death, but after the loss of my Mom a couple of weeks ago, I felt lost. I really needed SOMETHING to soothe my soul, and this was it. This book was a gentle reminder of a lot of things, and I will be forever grateful to the author for writing it. May many blessings be upon you William Fergus Martin. I appreciate you. And I will treasure this book for always. <3 <3 <3
I was shocked with a lot of the information provided in this book. A lot of it is anti biblical. I recommend to really check the Bible and know what the Bible says. For example, the Bible says that once a person goes to hell that is it. A person doesn’t have a second chance to make it right. This book says the exact opposite. It states the the spheres of hell is the torment of the mind and not an actual place and that people can work their way into a happier state eventually. That is not what the Bible says. Th only way to haven is through Jesus Christ. John 14:6
This book was not worth reading. For one thing I don't believe in mediums, nor do I believe they talk to the dead. God has a master plan for our life here on earth, and after we pass and to the spirit world. Unless this author has had a near death experience, there is no way she can speak truthfully about heaven and the afterlife. If you like fiction and fantasy read this book. God will take care of everything else that you need to know when we die and meet Jesus Christ and our creator.
I couldn't stay with. It. It really seemed to be filled with a bunch of foolishness based on nothing. Not at all what I hoped it would be. I read several chapters, then skimmed some, and finally read the last chapter, hoping to find something there - but no, nothing, except the rather boring wanderings of the author's mind, based on i don't know what
This book presented interesting takes on life after death and brought me some great comfort after two profound loses in a matter of days. I would have liked to see more information supporting the theories - where the author got this info. In the beginning of the book he said he compiled this information from various sources, but more exacting source data would have been nice. Just to know how he knows, you know?
As I read this i acquired a deeper understanding of what is going on in my life both here and at my real home. The author quoted passages from other books and explained many situations and truths. This is just my opinion but it has helped me to understand what is happening around and with me.
Although I thought the book was misnamed (it isn’t what I would call “stories”), I found it a very interesting discussion of the afterlife and its bearing on life on earth. It especially widened my view on reincarnation and gave the most compelling endorsement of the power of prayer I have ever come across.
Many traditionalists may take issue with the information presented here. This is neither good nor bad. Having an open discerning mind while reading this book will serve the reader well.
Great book. Loved the detail of life in the Afterlife. I always asked myself what do they do always knowing they were there. This book answered many questions. Easy read and very well written.
It was so great to have a wealth of information on the afterlife assembled in one place and in context. Having just lost my mom and a beloved aunt very close in time, it was comforting to gain a better sense of where they’ve gone and what they’re up to.
After losing my mom and then my step dad and biological dad just 6 weeks apart, this book was so comforting and just what I needed to hear to help me process the losses.
I would recommend this book. It answered in regular speak..the questions and thoughts I already felt...very inspiring...very real...love is the message
Good read, I would like to know where this information comes from. I hope the information is factual. It is important to realize everyone has a afterlife.
This is an interesting book but it needs to be taken in faith as there is no way to prove anything the book is claiming.
The basic concept is that after one dies they end up in another reality, basically. There is no hell but there are very dark areas where bad people can end up stuck until they sort of realize what they have done wrong and begin to try to improve.
The book is very Christian-centered so the main holy individual walking around is Jesus.
The person dies and ends up in this other reality in a very healthy body. (But what if they were transgendered? Do they end up in the body they actually had or the body they know they should have been born into?)
You can teleport and create things mentally. There is inter-racial harmony and a major emphasis on learning.
(Since this process seems to go on forever what is the ultimate goal? Is it like what happened in The Good Place where people basically commit a type of suicide and their bodies disintegrate and their essential being is scattered everywhere?)
There are pets, flowers, houses, etc. People use telepathy. Reincarnation can happen.
(Another question. Jesus (a male) is present and walks around to greet and help people. Why is there no female equivalent? This emphasizes the patriarchal nature of Christianity. Where is Mary Magdalene, for example?)
In some ways the book presents a fairly logical possibility for an afterlife (no eternal punishment, for example; chances to improve oneself) yet there are a number of issues that are not addressed.
