Imagine asking your finances to improve and it improves. Imagine speaking for a blind eye to open and it opens, Imagine speaking for the deaf to hear and they begin to hear. Imagine living in a world where everything you say comes to pass. Imagine asking trees to die and they die instantly. I want you to understand that the power to do all those wonderful things is within you, it’s not around you and you already have them. The Power of Our Words: Deliver Me From Negative Self-Talk: The Power Of Faith Filled-Words: How To Stop Negative Self Talk And Get What You Say by Michael Endwell is a "how to" improve your self talk. It is written for ages seven to eighteen. It states you have the power to change any predicaments in your life.

"Your words when spoken with faith will produce the right result. One thing you should consider before you speak negative words is that words are like seeds sometimes it takes a long time to roduce and most times it starts producing when you are no longer aware of it."

The information this book provides is valuable, however, I gave it three stars because of needed editing errors. On page 106 there are two typos regarding a "bet" (should be "bit") in a horses mouth. There are also grammatical errors, almost as if it is written by a non-English speaking person.

"The direction of your life today is a result of your yesterday's words." This is more about conversion of unbelievers than the power of our words.

I received a complimentary Kindle copy in an Amazon promotion. That did not change my opinion for this review.

Very good book!

If you want a book that will challenge you to watch what you say and is backed with Scripture, this is a book you'll want to get.
You'll learn why what you say is important, and you'll learn how to make a difference in your life through your words.
This book was a refresher course for me. I learned a long time ago that what I said made a difference in my life. Until I changed what I said, things in my life didn't change. Seriously.
This author isn't long winded. He's pretty to the point in what he says.
Good book!

This book is a life changer

I felt the negative fall off of me as I started to proclaim the positive in speaking words of power over my life.
I love that Mr. Endwell's obedience to follow the Holy Spirit by writing this book will not only bring him pure joy but it will bring others too.

Positive inspirational message

I learned a lot about how to stop thinking and speaking negative circumstances into my life. It starts with you and how you build yourself up or tear yourself down. All by the words you say. God is hurt by our inability to speak the word He gave us to have power over our lives with. Great book.

Short and sweet

This book is short and powerful. It reminds us of the scriptures and the word to combat any doubt in our minds. It assists with putting our words in perspective. Everyone should make time for such a inspirational quick read!

Read more than once

Thought provoking. I never realized some of the scriptures existed and related to how we
think. I did not care for the ads in the book but found the concept very intriguing.

Good

It's a good book. Very good information.
But It is short and couldn't clearly help or guide a reader to the solution intended. More scripture references are needed to guide the reader.

Not quite

He takes Scripture out of context. Life is not about God doing things for my happiness but about me glorifying Him.

Great read

I love the involvement of the bible and the prayer at the end. It is so right. You are created of God you were made in his image! Don't talk down to yourself!

Grammar

While the topic is good, the grammar and spelling errors detract so much from this read that it’s hard to even finish this short read

Hard to read

A lot of verses to fill the space and many, many, many grammatical errors. Definitely not worth purchasing. I think I got it for free, but still not worth it.

Good Advice

I chose this book because I thought it sounded interesting and/or may go well with devotionals I was seeking.

This book itself has some great, even excellent advice; however, it is also repetitive. Overall a good read.
