Charm a girl to steal her password? Frame his best friend? Why not - it's not like 'Nick Ravell' is even his real name.

Nick has it a full scholarship, first-string position on the lacrosse team, a gang of loyal friends.

But at night, tucked in the shadows of the university library, he is a fugitive cyberthief scouring the internet for the shattered pieces of a stolen fortune. He doesn't know someone is watching. Someone who desperately needs Nick's unusual skills.

Now Nick must be exposed to those who hunt him, or enter a dangerous experiment to decrypt a dark equation. Every step towards understanding it blurs the borders between what is real and what is illusion.

Is Nick the student he plays during the day, or the avatar he becomes at night? And what demons might he unleash when given the promise of everything he's ever wanted?

CIPHER is a steady build of action-packed suspense, a smart, visionary thriller prowling the edges of science and philosophy, faith and skepticism, spanning from the subatomic realm of quantum physics to the limitless ocean of the human mind.

With every escape path shrinking, with the FBI closing in, if Nick Ravell has any hope of surviving, he might need to finally stop running... and somehow find a miracle.

I can't believe I finished this pathetic attempt at a novel. I don't have a PhD in physics nor whatever the rest of this abomination of meaningless words was about. Not an IT/Hacker/cracker book. Not at all. Don't waste your time!

A bit too clever, especially with the God-vs.-science thing; an almost hit.
