Is there anything more annoying than a story written in first person narrative where the characters keep referring to themselves as bad asses, twisted, hot etc... ? Sorry, but instead of impressed it leaves me rolling my eyes.

No, No, NOOOOOO! We discover in this book that during the 4 weeks she was with the H in the last book, she also slept with his father. WILLINGLY!! I am so disgusted, especially hearing the crude way the H's father described it to the H. Plus, the h is a millionaire who did all of this out of curiosity. There is also a scene in this book of the h pleasuring herself in front of a window so her pervy neighbor, who is an old man, can watch. I am so incredibly disappointed. The first book was so good! I would have enjoyed it if the story she told to the H in the first book was true. I feel like a passenger on a wonderful road trip enjoying the beautiful scenery when all of a sudden the driver deliberately drives the car off the cliff.

Better, but still needs work.
Ms. Keta is definitely growing as a writer. The characters become much more developed in this installment, but the continuity is just baffling. I have so many questions. If she had to move every 6 months then how did she survive as a married woman? Also, if she pulled this stunt with 3-4 other MCs, what’s the point?! Because I’m a sucker, I will read the 3rd installment. I like the leads. I just wish the secondary characters were used more. Like, what’s the point of the hero being part of a racist MC? It’s offered zero to the storyline!

"Twisted Hearts" was a very engrossing yet unpredictable story ending in yet another cliffhanger!
I'm finally getting Megan's craziness while Aaron really piecing together her past. Keta, please give this strange couple their HEA! There are still some unanswered questions but hoping book 3 resolves all secrets left unresolved in "Twisted Hearts"

The first book set up was so good and then this dumpster fire of a book happened😠 this story could have gone in many reasonable ways but it decided to be stupid and nonsensical.
Like so she went though all the trauma with the MC just for a book story..... How does that make sense!!?? She could have been many things like working for revival gangs, she could have been a hired assassin, undercover agent, and many other things but it was wasted. She was putting herself in all of those dangerous situations just for her books 🤷 that's stupid as hell.

I really enjoyed 1st book. But this one, not so much. I was skimming through a few pages. Just seemed to drag and drag. I liked that we get more of a background story about Megan, but her story is very heartbreaking and gutted me! Trigger Warning: Detailed Child Sexual Abuse/Violence Just putting a warning for those that have that trigger. If I would have known, I wouldn't have read this or just skipped over the whole chapter {Chapter 16. Aaron} Ends on another damn cliffhanger. But I have a feeling I know who she's running from and Aaron might know them. Just saying. Not sure if I will continue with series.

warning warning!!!! Another damn cliffhanger!
This could have been great but somethings off. The first book had me very intrigued this not so much, but I gotta find out what and who Megan was messing with to have all these people after her.

Incredible conclusion to it predecessor. Thank heaven it's not over yet. A ton of hard to swallow truths was brought to light with this installment. I'm not sure which rocked me more. The truth Aaron heard from his own father about his woman or his woman's past. Both crumbled Aaron's foundation and brought forth anger like none he has ever known. Worse yet, we still don't have a definite on who coming for whom. But the fact remains, there was something about that foster families last name that tickled Aaron mind for a second. When it hits in book 3, I think it will be hard!

Wow! This book was just as explosively good as the first! Aaron and Megan are back at it again as she attempts to continue to run from her troubling past, with Aaron hot on her tail. Looking for clues and more dead ends to who she real is, he ends up with more questions than answers on the identity of Megan Jones. He's furious for the reason alone that she infiltrated his MC with an elaborate rouse and unknown intentions, and his father intends for him to kill her.
Megan is getting ready for her final move, to escape the demons from her past, and trying to leave thoughts of Aaron behind. But Aaron is unwilling to let her go, knowing that she means more to him than physical gratification or a twisted connection. Unknowing that Aaron's digging for her identity has stirred up some deadly trouble for the both of them.

Continuation of book 1. This was just as exciting as the first book but this book is where you learned about the real Megan and guess What? Aaron loved her all the same. Jaded past and all. Anywho. It'll of course be better when you read it. Cause it's gonna keep you on your toes and flipping pages. Dnt wait for the 3rd installment to release.

Another book I dropped everything to read!!! I’m discovering so many new authors that I am loving, I feel like I’ve discovered a whole new world no one know about. Twisted Hearts by #KetaKendric is book two in the trilogy and just as awesome that the first book. I loved the subject matter of the book and loved how the author wrote it. Aaron and Megan had such fantastic chemistry and the sex was just out of this world 😍😍😍💦💦 I loved seeing the two bond and develop stronger feelings with each page!

I was loving the cat and mouse chase of this story where you have Aaron going on a cross-state hunt while using his special contact to get whatever information he could on Megan just to discover that what little he knew of her had all been fabricated or led to seemingly dead ends. But more insight was given into Megan's elusive past, and what was shared was heartbreaking and rage-inducing.
Unfortunately things kind of fell off for me right around chapter 11. KK is good at writing a character's inner thoughts, but where she kind of floundered was writing out descriptions of scenes. Better editing could have made things flow easier because often Megan and Aaron would describe something three times in the same paragraph it would just be slightly worded different, or details were added that felt out of place.
Fortunately the story kicked back up when Megan shared details about her horrific childhood, and then when enemies from either her past or Aaron's (though I'm pretty sure they were gunning for Megan) arrived and the action was back on though I didn't feel the same level of intensity during the shootout scene in Twisted Hearts as the one in Twisted Minds. That could be in part because I now know what the two of them together are capable of.
Moving on, I ended up skimming some parts because either Megan and Aaron's thoughts were redundant. We know they live dangerous lives, we know Megan tricked his MC, we know Megan doesn't want her past to lead to Aaron's death. Those were themes repeated ad nauseum that I'm hoping won't be repeated more than once or mentioned at all in the next book.
I did like that some things that were mentioned in Twisted Minds was explained in this installment. I like that weren't any plot holes, and what was intentionally left out, hopefully will be explained soon. I can guess that the people after Megan are related to her foster parents (who I really wanted to take out back myself). Aaron mentioned he heard their names before, but the connection was not fully realized.
Nevertheless, I will read the next in this series.

Awesome
I thoroughly enjoyed part 2. The connection between Aaron and Megan is indescribable. It is so deep and you definitely feel it leaping off the pages of this book. I loved that part 2 delved deeper into Megan's past and we got a better understanding of her past and what she is running from. I am sure even more will be revealed in part 3. I loved the fact that we were able to see how much of a bad a** Aaron is....wow I have no words. Miss Keta Kendric your pen game is strong and I look forward to reading more.

Fantastic
This book is great. This dark MC series is unlike any MC romance story I have read. Megan and Aaron's moral compasses are skewed; they have little to no remorse, live dangerous lives and are crazy and in love.This crazy love series has me hooked. My heart shattered when Megan revealed things about her past. This story just keeps getting better.

Somebody needs therapy.
Let's go back to my dislike of first person books. The reason is because you're only allowed 2 perspectives. In this book you only know about Aaron and Megan. There are other parties to the problem and we won't know until book 3.
I said in my review of the first book Megan was lying lol I get her past. It was jacked up, like bad jacked up. I'm not sure how or why her adrenaline for dangerous situations seems to be her coping mechanism for pain.
Her behind lies... I'm not saying from the pain of her past but she lies.
This book was stalker, violence,sex, emotional breakdown, violence, sex, emotional, violence, and sex maybe not in that order.
Aaron is becoming 1 dimensional to me. He has the bad boy, I've done bad things and still do and now his obsession with Megan, Kelli, Tina whoever she is. Megan is 1 dimensional as well, she is the lost liar. I need them to both have issues. This wasn't a horrible book but there was too many sex scenes that plugged in. Something else or some one else could have filled those spaces.
Overall I liked it. I'll read the next one

Damn! This series becomes more twisted by the chapter! Aaron is gone over Megan, and doesn't care what anyone thinks about it! He is full of rage when he finds out what she has done, but he cares too much about her to harm her. Megan! This poor soul has has been to hell and back, before she was 15 years old! The torture that her foster family put her through was beyond comprehension! No wonder it broke her! Surviving on the edge of danger, was the only thing that would allow her to live, somewhat normally! Aaron and Megan together, were a beautiful, mangled, chaotic mess; but they loved each other. I would not want to be the one to get in the way of those two, as they are both right on the edge of crazy! The group that just attacked them, are they looking for Aaron or Megan? Whew! This right here has my adrenaline turned up, way past 10! 😂 Looking forward to the next book! 👍👍👍

Still waiting on what Megan is really up to
I knew Megan would have a great back story and she kind of does. I just don’t know all of it yet. What we were privy to know was sad and painful. She’s definitely a fighter and survivor but she’s messed up.
Her whole past hasn’t been revealed but it had danger and crime.
At least she’s reunited with Aaron.

I just finished Twisted Minds and have a way better understanding of Megan's actions. She has been through the worst possible young life that you can imagine for a woman. I now understand the title of these books and wholeheartedly agree with the plot running this story. I just cannot fathom how she is living day to day, with any semblance of normalcy. I first thought after reading Twisted Minds, that Aaron would be the twisted one but I was wrong. So wrong! Lol. I have to say that the hero has turned this around and is the right man for Megan. Don't get me wrong, Aaron is far from perfect but those two together are made for each other. Explosive, bad-ass and so far up in each other arms that their criminal actions seem like a normal day in their life, Lol. The sex scenes between those two burn up the air I breathe! The sex is scorching, absolutely, burn your house down and only the two of them remain standing.
The one part I did not like is that the one scene in regards to Aaron's father, it was upsetting. I understand it and it was before Aaron and knowing what Megan is now, I get it but I wished I could erase it from my memory, Lol. 3.5 stars***

Tbh I found this book boring.
Yes there were plenty of sex scenes- which were formulaic and uninspiring tbh, I ended up skimming i was so bored and seriously I'm meant to believe that they have sex 5/7 times a day and he has a 10 inch dick? Yeah right. For those of us that have experienced this size dick let me tell you I dont believe it, its ridiculous and she wouldn't be able to walk, believe me I know from painful experience.
Then there's the issue of her going to the mc for some sort of research, she's fucking weird! Like I said in the last book, she's a sociopath.
Add to that she had sex with Aaron's dad, we dont know how often, if it was just once, concurrent to her having sex with Aaron. And bizarrely he doesn't really care cos she's so gorgeous?
Very little biker stuff in this book, so for me it was a bit tedious.
I actually don't like Megan at all, i just don't have a connection with her. Cant relate. She's a really bizarre H.
I'm having a failure to connect with these mcs. And if I dont connect I dont care and if I don't care why do I want to read more?

I actually don't like Megan at all, i just don't have a connection with her. Cant relate. She's a really bizarre H.
I'm having a failure to connect with these mcs. And if I dont connect I dont care and if I don't care why do I want to read more?

The story continues
This is a continuation and you must read the first book to understand what is going on with Aaron and Megan.
It had action and a lot of drama.
Aaron , a biker from an MC club that does not like anyone who isn't white, falls for a black woman with a troubled past.
As their story continues i had a few problems with part two and it's with Megan. A few of her secrets are revealed and WOW is all I can say. I won't give away anything but it's no secret she was married and her timeline doesn't fit for me. Shes 24 when did she have time to have this great marriage along with with everything that's happened to her. The relationship between Shark and Megan could have been left out. I might have had some more respect for her but all that being said, I am hooked on this series. The book is great Aaron makes a reader sigh with his love for Megan.
I can't wait to see read the next installment.

I can't wait
February can't get here fast enough for Twisted Secrets. I loved this book. I'm m so glad I took a chance on this new author. I am now a fan. I could not put my Kindle down. This story had me from start to finish. I just love Megan and Aaron's love.
This book was full of drama, suspense, and mystery. I am anxious to see what has yet to be revealed about Megan's past. Who does she think is after her and why? Shark was right about his son Aaron being whipped. All it took was one taste of Megan and he became addicted to her like a crack addict. It is so funny to see this big bad azz enforcer for the August Knight MC go all gah gah over forbidden love. We still have not seen what Shark is going to do or try to do to his son for his defiance. I guess that will be seen in the next book. I can't wait. Good job Kenta!
