You know that a book is truly spectacular when you have just read 700 pages and you are like, ”that was short!”. 😁 And my first thought as soon as after I finished reading this one is when the next book will come out and I can’t wait for it. 😍 I loved the first book in the Nira chronicle series and I love the second book even more. 💙 Ahhh, I just can’t get enough of Zercy and Alec. 😘 New book boyfriends! 🤟 The story picked up from the major cliffhanger where it ended in book one. Captain Alec and his team were sold as slaves to King Zercy, the Krie monarch of the strongest empire on the planet, Nira, and thus our story began. 😉
Captain Alec, the leader of Astrum human research team, now the personal pet of King Zercy. 😜 Determined, responsible and very protective of his team. The thing is although he hates Zercy for enslaving them and handpicking him to be the pleasure slave, he can’t help being attracted to this astonishingly handsome King. And he’s not even gay back on earth. He knows that the King has issues and they really are big ones. Will Captain Alec be able to console King Zercy and become his confidante? Or will they become fated lovers?
King Zercy, the monarch of Krie empire, the just and benevolent ruler who’s trying really hard to save his kind. And as soon as he saw Alec (*he calls Alec, Alick* 😍) he couldn’t help feeling drawn to that beautiful and caring human. And now is not the good time to indulge himself with a pleasure slave. Choosing Alick to become his pleasure slave is not only impulsive but also instinctive. Things are happening in the kingdom of Krie. There was a conspiracy not only to destroy Zercy but also to decimate the whole Krie species. Can he trust Alick? Will Alick choose to be with him when the Astrum rescue team finally came to get him a year later?
Zercy was ruthlessly betrayed by someone who’s dear to him just a few months ago and having Alick by his side helped him took off everything that’s happening. 😌 He knows that Alick is in a dilemma of being attracted to him and despising him for enslavement. He wants Alick and he wants him bad. 😁 But he won’t force Alick to do anything against his will. He wants the genuine affection and heartfelt submission from Alick. Alec is confused and desperate to know what’s really happening in the palace. While Zercy showed him great kindness and affection, he never once confided in Alec. 😒 Alec is trying to convince himself that he wanted to know these things not because he cared for Zercy but because he wanted to use the knowledge as a leverage to free his team and himself. The thing is he doesn’t really want to escape. While his body is trying to escape from the palace of Zercy, his heart willingly became Zercy’s prisoner. And he never wanted to escape from Zercy. 😍 He has been trying to find his home while travelling space for years. And he has finally found his home, the arms of Zercy. His King, his lover and his home. 😍❤️😘
I love the relationship ascpet of Zercy and Alick. It’s not insta-love. Rather, it’s a built-up, passionate and learned-fated-mate kind of love. Kora Knight literally made her readers beg and yearning for the romance between Zercy and Alick. 😁 There was no penetration sex until 60% of the story and the UST between them was electric. 💚 Trust me, you get lots of actions though .. while they didn’t have penetration sex, these guys made a lot of compromises and did them like monkeys. And when it finally came to that, “the sex was fucking glorious!” 😍 The perfect combination of sweet, tender love making and pound-your-brains-out purely sexual erotic fuck. And my friends, it made me sweat and bothered and hot and panting. *whewwwww* 😂 How I loved those a foot long massive Krie dongs! 😁👏 They sure are super virile. 😜 The story is not only about these two MCs and there are a lot of relationship aspects between Alick’s teammates and Krie and other Niran beings. I love how Zercy is protective and possessive of Alec. 😍 I mean who doesn’t love all macho, possessive and loving alphas. The storyline is unique and very fascinating. ❤️ Kept me on the edge all time and I could never guess the twists and plots. And did I say this novel is super hot? I was on fire all the time. Sooooo yummily erotic! 😍 And now there are two more Niran species involved in this second book. Tree Elves beings called Tohrí who can fly and Mermen-like creatures called Oonmaiyos. I’m seeing a lot more books in the series and I’m sure each and every one of Alick’s teammates will get their own story. But Zercy and Alick’s love story is not finished. Actually, it has just started. There are still many mysteries to unfold. 😱 And while Zercy and Alick have a HEA, it feels more like a HFN. We need to know more about what will happen in the future since they now have a baby coming. Will there still be a civil war between Krie and Tohri? Can Alick convince Zercy to have a mercy on Tohri and prevent a massacre on the planet of Nira? How would the baby look like? OMG! 😱 I need the answers and I need them now. However, the ending of this book is much more satisfactory than the first one and didn’t really feel like a huge cliffhanger. This was a really satisfying and beautifully written book. 😍 Intricate and amazing world building, fascinating characters and swoon-worthy MCs, and that heartmelting romance. 💙 Hats off to Kora Knight and I need the next book ASAP. 😘

well THAT was quite an experience. i truly loved every moment of it though. 🥰
really cool world building. i was fascinated with literally EVERYTHING! some of the things the author came up with?? downright incredible and very creative.
alec and zercy were great, both together and individually. alec is very loyal and protective. clearly cares a lot about his team. i absolutely love zercy. he might be the nicest captor i’ve EVER read about tbh. this guy gave them all free education, training, amazing food, let them stay in a castle…🤣 colour me surprised since i am used to captors in books being absolute assholes.💀
from the very first time zercy (the alien and the king of the krie empire) met the mc alec at the end of book one, he was clearly very intrigued by him. so, OF COURSE, naturally, he took him as his pet. alec had the hots for zercy from the beginning too though, so it worked out very nicely…👀 both zercy and alec became quite jealous and possessive of the other person. their little pet names for each other were SO cute. their little private conversations about constellations and the differences between their planets? adorable.
honestly didn’t expect to feel their actual connection as much as i did, even though they clearly had insta-lust. no insta-love, more like a very slow building trust between the two, that turned into a friendship with a very strong undercurrent of lust, desire and passion for each other… and then eventually love. it all felt very believable though. in my eyes, nothing felt rushed between them.
a couple of people have asked me if sharing or cheating between the mcs happens at all and now that i’ve finished both books, i can confirm that they are VERY loyal to each other and would probably rather stab themselves in the eye than share the other person with others! 🤣
ALSO, let me tell you, these aliens are KINKY AS HELL, damn… 👀 i didn’t expect anything else from kora knight though. this author clearly has talent when it comes down to writing hot, dirty, kinky smut. it was all hot as hell. weird as hell too at times, but my point still stands.
the plot overall was pretty good too, but wasn’t fully resolved which is completely understandable, because there will be more books in the series. the ending didn’t feel as much like a cliffhanger as the first one did though. felt pretty satisfying actually.
i still have a lot of questions. would love book three asap! we get a HFN for zercy and alec, but the stories of a lot of the side characters are still unresolved. what happens with noah and gesh? chet and roni? garret and airis? bailey and his merman?????? 🤭
i am VERY eager to know how all those relationships turn out and what happens between the krie and the tohri and if they’ll manage to prevent a literal civil war. 👀

Kora Knight has created such an amazingly intricate world. From the aliens to the flora and fauna, to the landscape and the language. Such detail and such thoroughness that I had no trouble imagining everything, whatever the sense may be.

A: Never...

A: YUP! Both of them become so jealous and possessive of the other. It's adorable and sexy AF.

Jesus! this was soooo good!! And with 20hrs on the audio also a long ass book (almost 600 pages). And honestly, there was not even that much happening. But regardless, the hours just flew by and I was riveted. Strange, right?
What was even more strange and really surprising (remembering the first book and its sex fest) there was not even sex happening in the first many hours *lol —but don’t get an idea of tame or anything. There were a lot of boners, horniness and sexual tension involved still. But boy did it got hot later!
As many did before me, I LOVED ZERCY.
The king of the Kríe seemed kind of withdrawn but with Alec he’d shown affection and care pretty early on even though his intentions remained a mystery for a long time.
And WOW! When I hit the 80% mark (still 4hrs left, mind you) the story really picked up the pace. Holy guacamoly —I don’t even know where to begin. You have to read it for yourself. It was riveting and I really don’t wanna spoiler anything. But HELL!
And then…
My heart. And that ending. 🫠
While the first book was told solely from Alec’s perspective (well, mostly in this one too) I loved getting into the other team members’ POV from time to time as well. (Okay there was the Search & Rescue team as well, but I don’t wanna delve into their take of events, it would be too much and probably spoilery as well.)
I can’t wait to see where the author is taking these characters next. This whole world and all that happened and might happen in future books literally has me on the edge of my seat. This book was published 2017 and I AM BEYOND HAPPY I only recently discovered this series. This book ends on a strong HFN but with all the loose ends it screams for more stories to tell, especially for the other characters. I have no idea how people were able to being that patient. Kudos to you!
Zane Daniels did a fantastic job performing this audio and bringing the characters and this story alive. I really lucked out that it was him narrating one of the longest audios I’ve ever listened to. AND I highly encourage you to go for the audio as well if you ever decide to take a chance on this series. ♡
And also: BIG THANKS to the author for adding a character list to the book. I truly would’ve been lost without it. Kora Knight’s storytelling with this was amazing, keeping me hooked over so many hours/pages. The world building was great (and I agree, this whole thing felt like it was inspired by James Cameron’s "Avatar") and there were so many cool, fascinating and highly entertaining things happening. WELL DESERVED FIVE STARS!

I am ✨amazed!!✨ This book picks up from the last one and of course the flawless alien smut continues but there is also a plot!! A good plot!! Like, ok, I knew I would like this book somewhat but I wasn’t expecting that?! Alec and his team are sold into being pets for a king named Zercy and Zercy takes a liking to Alec. At first Alec is super against this whole thing as you could imagine. But he slowly starts to fall for the enticing king and oml Zercy is so sweet. The things he says just make my heart melt!! It’s pretty obvious he’s fallen for Alec with his entire being even though it takes Alec a while to realize how much Zercy truly loves him. I also liked getting to know his team. Chet never failed to make me laugh with his stubbornness, and the science trio is just precious. I feel so bad for Noah!! And I really want to know who Bailey’s secret merperson is. I also enjoyed the friendship between Alec and Zaden. The world building is really quite nice which was another thing I wasn’t expecting. Everything is explained well and in a way that makes sense, really establishing the foundations of this strange planet. Overall, I had a great time with this one and I’m so thankful I found it because of Evie’s review. 😂

I feel like I need to sit down with myself and have a good hard look in the mirror, but this book of graphic alien smut was, like unironically, kind of great? Like this audiobook was 20 hours long and I am mostly just devasted that it doesn’t have another 20 hours, however, am equal parts elated that Book three is in the works.
This story picks up directly after Book one, which was essentially a very long prelude. Gesh and his pack have sold Alec and the rest of his unit to Zercy, the King of the Krie where they now live as his pets, awaiting their rescue.
Zercy chooses to take Alec on as his personal pet due to feeling an undeniable draw to him, and Alec takes one for the team in the hopes of being able to protect the rest of his team (the fact that Zercy is pretty easy on the eyes certainly helps). Over the course of the book, they go from being captive/captor to what was a surprisingly lovely romantic slow burn love story.
The characters and the world building were strong and surprisingly robust and complex (I feel bad saying that, but I genuinely can’t explain how much this silly little alien smut book has surpassed my expectations). There is so much potential here for mystery, romance and political intrigue in future books (THERE HAD BETTER BE MORE BOOKS!).
The shock I was in when my silly little smut book suddenly had *shock* depth and emotions. I was just sitting on the train tearing up over emotional developments when like a chapter earlier there had been exploratory tentacles. THE WHIPLASH I EXPERIENCED.
But honestly, Alex and Zercy’s story was concluded in such a lovely way. I just love them together a lot. Their love was so sweet.
Don’t get me wrong, there was A LOT of very graphic and kinky sex, most of which was utterly ridiculous, but like also a shockingly large amount of fun and a pretty sweet romance as well. I don’t think I can even really begin to do content warnings justice on this one cause of just how many kinks and how much smut there is, and there was just…. SO MUCH…. But it was incredibly entertaining. Orgy in book one aside, Zercy and Alec are also wholly devoted to each other and once they meet there are no other potential suitors.
Zane Daniels did a phenomenal job with the narration here and I would wholeheartedly recommend listening to this by audiobook. Although his possessive growly voice for Zercy had me sweating hard, the sex scenes (of which there was MANY) were so intense due to his performance. The growly, bitey possessive element of this scratched the itch in the back of my brain just right.
So, this is me…... in a state of shock and surprise …...adding a romance story about aliens with 12-inch dicks and possessiveness issues to my ‘favorites of the year’ shelf….

The book centers around Alec ‘Alick’ Hamlin, captain of Astrum Industries’ science and exploration team and King ‘Leo’ Zercy (47) of the Kríe. You also have his team; Co-pilot, Zaden ‘Z’ Ryes, bodyguard Chet, and the three scientists Noah, Jamis and Bailey. The Kríes Miros, Naydo, Roni and Gesh also appear. We also got more of Captain Garret Scott and his the search and rescue team and we got to met Airis of the Tohrí. Many characters, but it was not overload. Overall, story wise, it's was alright, but the book was really long and kinda predictable. I do hope we get more though with Alec and Zercy as the main characters.

So why was this freaky alien sex book actually one of the best pieces of literature I’ve ever consumed like how is that even possible? Truly some of the most absurdly insane things a human brain could ever come up with (I regularly think about the fucking fights with the root tails god I have never been more uncomfortable in my life) and yet this was also a deeply beautiful love story with some of the absolute best enemies to lovers I’ve ever seen an author manage to pull off? Like I wanted Zercy to get pushed out a window and now I’m weeping a bit at his happy ending what kind of witchcraft is this? Also huge shout out to everyone who recommended the audiobook because not only was rent due but a whole ass mortgage, car payment, life insurance, and child support because holy shit I have never seen someone put so much life into an audiobook before like Zane Daniels has and I firmly believe this is the best way to consume this piece of literature because of how much he adds to the experience. So yeah the weird alien erotica is in my top ten now and I’m frothing at the mouth because there was so much unfinished with the rest of the guys Kora how much money do you need to finish this girl I’ll literally throw money at you like a one would do to a pet artist kept during the renaissance I need more Krie and those mermaid people and the glowing elves hand it over I’ll write the check right now

You see those 5 stars and you could ask yourself, is this really a 5 stars book? The answer is NOPE! BUT I LOVED IT!!! I E.T.ied the shit out of this!! 😵😵
I didn't read the previous one, I skimmed it to get the gist and I'm glad. Now this? This was gold! It was porn all over the place, so yes the rumors are true, but hear me out: ZERCY! That's what made this book, him and Alec's personalities, he was such an angry teddybear and Zercy just liked to play with him.
And then wham!! Feelings! And wham!! Depth out of nowhere, the plot came out of nowhere too, or at least I think it did, the sex broke my mind so I can't be sure. But yeah this alliens are kinky but they have a heart, best combo or whut?
I loved this and can't wait for the next actually. 🤣🤣🤣❤

I love Zercy and Alec! They had this whole Beauty and the Beast vibe going and I was here for it! I mean this book really is like a purple alien-meets human retelling of Beauty and the Beast haha
I am now looking forward to many more books set in this world, like Noah and Gesh’s which is next. And honestly there are so many couple options that I hope to see this series last for a long time! Hahaa

It’s hard to rate this book because it wasn’t what I thought would be. 2/3 of the book is kinky alien smutness and 1/3 is world building and plot. I did enjoy the other team’s storyline so much. Garret was my favorite character from book 1 and I was disappointed that book 2 continues with Alec’s team. Again my bad I haven’t read the blurb 😄.
Anyway that roughly 200page what focus on the sci-if aspect was really good and I would read a next book with the Tohrí. In the other hand 300 page of smut was a bit too much for me😜
( also the word dick was wrote down 268 times, shit 252 times… sometimes in the same sentence 🤣) so if you up for some really well written horny aliens with a good plot a bit hidden in the background then go ahead ☺️

More than 20 hours of listening to a hot human/alien romance without being bored - that’s really a feat, don’t you think?
Firstly, let’s all give it up to Zane Daniels, who - again- managed to pull me into this book, so much in fact, that I felt like real life is the intrusive force here, pulling me away from my book. Even during the (very long) sex scenes, he managed to toe that fine line between acting it out and overacting. So yes, definitely thumbs up for the audio!
As for the book: the prequel (which you should read before starting this one - it’s mainly a huge orgy, but you need a lot of things you learn there to fully understand what’s going on here) ends with the humans stranded in Nira being sold to Zercy, the Kríe king.
Here, we have several plot lines: a human rescue team crashes on Nira, too, only to be abducted by the same Kríe who sold the former team to Zercy, intending to “trade” them to get back Noah, one of the scientists whom one of the Kríe mercenaries has fallen in love with.
Then we skip back a year and learn what happened to the first human team, mainly focusing on Alec, their captain. Alec has stirred the personal interest of Zercy and has been claimed as his personal pet.
And in the course of that year until the rescue team landed, Alec and his team not only learn a lot about the Kríe ways and what they’re fighting against, but Alex gets to know - and eventually fall in love with - Zercy.
So as you can imagine, when the rescue mission finally happens, nothing goes as planned…
There’s A LOT of sex in this book, I think this author is quite well known for her extensive and very explicit writing. And what easier way to explore every possible kink when you have huge, purple, very sensual aliens? But what I loved most is the care she put in developing not only the main characters and their relationship, but the secondary characters and the world building - like the steampunk vibe that surrounds all the Kríe tech, or the intense way in which Nira interacts with the beings in this planet.
Can’t wait to read more about Noah and Gesh, or the Bailey and his mysterious merman (prince Nen?), or Garret and the Tohrí warrior (the flying Legolas-looking people) 🥰. Or, ofc, Chet and his "bitch", although he's probably my least favorite human character.

“Truth be told,” as Alex liked to say ever other page, this wouldn’t really be a four star read for me if I really looked hard at things. I have to say that it could have done with major editing. It was waaaaaay too long. Also extremely repetitive. (See above, “Truth be told,” for one example out of many.) I’m sorry but those are the facts. I must speak the truth.
But damnit I’m still giving it four stars and I don’t care because:
✅ Zercy. OMG. Where can I find my own Zercy? He was just so… 😍. His possessiveness, his sweetness, his jealousy, his I’ll burn the world down for my man. Yes please!
✅ Hot, hot, hot. 🔥
✅ More naughty, horned and horny Krie. I can’t get enough of them. No orgy like book one but there’s definitely some setups for some of these guys to their own books. Fingers crossed KN’s writer’s block on this series clears soon and we get more.

4 stars ⭐️ This story was amazing and really hot. I liked both Alec (Alick) and Zercy. They were so great together. I wish the story was a bit longer because I wanted to know how Zercy and Alec’s world would be after their mating part.

That was bat shit crazy and yet also managed to house a tender love story. My mind boggled many times here. There are so many wild scenes - the animal wrestling, those tails, the tentacle bed, the ‘receptacles’ and why they needed to use them, the need to widen some body parts and shrink others with the use of questionable flora and fauna sources, and to top it all off the most beautiful alternative to mpreg I’ve ever read. Wild. Truly wild. I can’t believe the narrator kept a straight face throughout this, he did a bloody good job of it!
Despite all the outrageousness of this book I really did enjoy the world building and the romance development between Zercy and Alec. I loved the POV’s from the other members of the team and am absolutely desperate for their stories - Bailey, Garret, Noah and Chet I’m looking at all of you and am rather irate this came out in 2017 and book 3 is still a WIP. A few days ago, I had nothing else to read, and I was scouring for something. Then I came across this one and it had such good reviews and talked about how well the romance (and sex) was done that I just had to dive in.
I did skip the first book, but only because it has Alec, one of the MC's of this one, involved with another character who isn't Zercy, and I saw that it has a whole orgy thing going on too, and it wasn't highly rated, and so I just decided to skip it.
I know if I had read the first one, it would be before Alec even meets Zercy, and before me as a reader reads them as a couple, but still, I was wanting the romance with the sexytimes, and this one seemed to have what I needed.
Diving into it, I was able to get the gist of what happened in the first one anyway. Also, it's almost 600 pages, so it has a lot of story with it, and it certainly did not disappoint. I absolutely loved this, and I loved Alec and Zercy together.
It was easy to gather that Alec and his team crash landed on the planet of Nira, after they had been trying to get there to explore this new planet. This must take place quite a long time into the future for them to have the technology to get to a different solar system and planet in such a short amount of time. (Will we ever actually be able to do it? Probably not. But in fiction, it can be possible.)
It's also easy to gather that when they got there, the Krie, these big purple alien men with big dicks (because of course ;)), after giving them some natural food that makes them susceptible to wanting to fuck, and which they did, also then sold them to the King of the Krie, Zercy, as pets.
Alec, in particular, is the Kings personal 'pet.'
It actually takes awhile for these two to get to anything sexual, though, as Alec, who formerly thought he was straight, is so bound and determined to deny he feels anything, whether that be attraction or feelings, for Zercy. Also because the guy is currently holding them captive and all as well.
Although he does treat them all quite well. They're tied up and escorted everywhere they go at first, but gradually Zercy lessens that supervision and restraints, especially as he and Alec grow closer and closer.
Also Zercy, who is Alec's captor, never actually forces him into anything sexual - which is why it takes so long for anything sexual to happen, because it's all up to Alec.
I mean there's a handjob or two before they go to full on sex, but really Alec is still of the "I can't feel anything for him, I won't feel anything, we're captives and I'm supposedly straight" persuasion for quite awhile.
But over time, he really does become closer to Zercy, and eventually he starts to fall for the alien King, and the King in return starts to fall for him.
In the meantime, they all know it'll be at least a year before a rescue team comes to get them, but Chet, another on the team, is determined to find a way for them all to escape (while every day Alec gets closer to Zercy, the less he wants to actually leave and wants to stay), and also Alec learns of a threat to the Krie and their whole race and how heavily it weighs on Zercy.
The main plot is revolved around this team (and the rescue team) trying to escape these hyper sexual aliens, but also what's going on with the Krie, and a mysterious 'sickness' that is a threat to their race, and how they can try to help stop it.
A lot of all of this which revolves around sex, since the Krie are so hyper sexualized, and the way the reproduce is completely different from how humans reproduce, and so that way is what is the 'sickness' that is threatening their race.
I loved how this book took its time with Alec and Zercy. Alec wanted Zercy from the get go, but he denied himself and Zercy for so long, that by the time he gave in, I could feel the yearning he felt for Zercy. Sexually, but also romantically, even if it took even longer for both of them to start to admit feelings for each other. Even in Alec's mind it took a long time to stop denying that.
We don't get Zercy's POV in this, but I could always feel his attraction and yearning for Alec. Especially when he got hella possessive ;)
Their chemistry was just so well done, and their romance was an amazing slow burn. I also just didn't want this to end because I was loving these two together.
Even though, yes, they definitely get a HEA, there is definitely more story to tell. I don't when we'll get the third book in this series (it's been years since this one came out, even), but I hope we get to see these two living their HEA with and them .
I wonder if the third book, whenever that comes out, will be focused mainly on another couple (because we got a few others with the other team members and rescue team. Like Noah and Gesh, Chet and Roni, Garret and Ailis, etc etc...) or on these two.
I would love it being focused on Alec and Zercy still, even though they did get a great HEA, there's still more story to tell and I'd love to see them going through that story together, strong and happy. But if only get snippets of their happiness together, that's okay too, because they did get their HEA, which I so wanted for them. But the other couples or potential couples are all up in the air, so I wonder if the third installment will be about one or all of them, with Alec and Zercy as the background couple. Who knows? We shall see, whenever the third installment comes out.
I DEFINITELY recommend this. This was my first outing with this author too, so I'll definitely check out more from her in the future. This one was so well done. The world building was amazingly done, the characters so well done, and the romance was top notch, so I can't wait for more.
This gets two MASSIVE thumbs up from me. I loved it, and kept me enraptured while reading from beginning to end. A definite win overall! 😍

Absolutely loved this second instalment
So book one would have had more stars if it hadn't been for the cliff hanger, this one has a sort of cliff hanger but I honestly don't care because the rest of it was brilliant.
I love me a good sci-fi story and Kora Knight is excellent at the world building needed to make a narrative work when it involves humans and seven foot tall horned aliens!
There's some ridiculously hot and downright dirty sex in this one too, the bed scene with the living plants in particular was wonderfully kinky, but there's also a truly beautiful love story at the heart of this book.
Alec and Zercy were an incredible pair, finding common ground in spite of their differences in not only species but also in their station. I loved the slow building of their friendship outside of the insane sexual chemistry.
There's the same load of action and humorous asides in this as the first one and the book is very "visual", I would love to see this on the screen but it'd no doubt be too erotic for mainstream audiences!
Now I want to know what's going to happen next, who plotted to kill the Krie, will Gesh and Noah sort things out, did Bailey end up with his merman and is Chet not quite as adverse to Roni as he claims to be :)

I hope this series continues... for all the smutty parts, of which there are a LOT, it's not that easy to pigeonhole into the erotica category. The worldbuilding is really good and I want more... Bailey and his merman, and does Bitch Chet maybe end up with two Kyríe?! There are many stories left to be told and I'm looking forward to reading them!

Purple aliens, a sex-obsessed society, a group of captured humans, and a society on the edge of extinction….
How was this so good?! I really didn’t expect that, especially after the prequel. The prequel was basically porn and I thought that’s all this book would be as well. While sex does feature heavily, I actually loved the plot. I was entertained throughout and absolutely invested the last 20%. When the timelines converged this book quickly went from 3 to 4 stars from me. It was all so satisfying.
This book is such a unique mix of characters. I did not anticipate to get so invested in all of the species and their struggles. I want more from everyone and need to see how things will pan out. I want our Tohri freed and vindicated. Show me more Mermen and let them somehow come to the rescue. I’m a bit iffy on wanting to see “Nira’s” new child, but I am all about seeing some of our other humans finding their mates. So cute. I need more.

Clear your schedules Krie fans, this one is good. And at over 9 hours of reading time you aren't going to want to stop.
I loved Kríe Captivity. It was a super kinky riot of fun, that didn't seem to take itself to seriously. And while this second book in the series was still super fun and full of alien-fueled hi-jinx, it also brought the mega feelz, because Zercy and Alex are so good together...and apart...and fighting...and learning what it means to love each other.
Kora Knight took what she did in Kríe Captivity and ran with it all the way to kinky Narnia...(if Narnia had been set in space.) The world building here is ten fold over the first book. Exploring, not only the Krie, but several other native species, and expanding the Nira landscape exponentially to ensure it can withstand many more books in this series.
If you are a fan of this author and have an extremely open mind, you will love this. It's almost like if Tad and Scott found each other in deep space, and it's so freaking good.

Narration: 5 stars
Story: 3 stars
All in all, this audiobook was entertaining. Zane Daniels narrated the hell out of this book, no doubt. 🤌 But I can’t say that I really liked the book.
Same as book #1 this is basically porn with plot. I Okay, there is more plot and world building in this one than in book #1. But the plot couldn’t grab my interest as much as I hoped it would. And unfortunately I didn’t care much fore the characters either, which is always a bad sign. I couldn’t connect emotionally with the MCs and at some point even the sex scenes became boring, so I started skimming.
I had problems to work out who everyone was (the team guys and the Krìe). There were simply too many characters. Also, the overuse of the words fuck/fucking (478x), shit (251x), dick (268x) and cock (199x) was annoying at some point. 🙄
I guess, when I’m in the mood for reading erotica, I‘ll better stick with Roe Horvat, my personal porn god 🥵🔥 (at least for now … I haven’t read much erotica yet 😂🤭).

This book was everything I didn't know I needed in my life 😭😭😭
Seriously, why was this so good? Even though I've enjoyed other books by Kora Knight, I sort of picked up the first one in this series out of curiosity (and because Zane Daniels makes my ears happy). I'm not a huge PNR reader, and I don't think I've ever read one involving aliens, so this was all new for me. I'm so glad I let my curiosity get the better of me because it led me to this book.
Zercy was so much more than I expected 🤩 After reading the first book in the series and other books by Kora Knight, my expectations were sex fest with some other bits thrown in, but wow was I wrong. ZERCY WAS SO MUCH MORE. Don't get me wrong, there was sex and plenty of it. SO VERY MUCH. But along with the sex, there was an absolutely beautiful slow burn love story interwoven with interesting world building and a captivating storyline. Zercy and Alec's chemistry was off the charts from the beginning, but the depth of what developed between them had me melting into a puddle of goo. They were perfect on so many levels. AND THE ENDING! Even though I saw it coming, it still took my breath away. It was magical. Everything I could have hoped for and more 🥹
Even though the audiobook clocked in at over 20 hours, I was never bored and didn't want it to end. I could have listened 20 more hours and would have loved every minute ☺️ Do yourself a favor and get the audio. Zane Daniels is amazing on a normal day, but here 😮💨 My goodness, he knocked it OUT OF THE PARK, like past the stands and crack someone's windshield in the parking lot level out of the park. Top 10 all-time favorite audiobook for me 🔥

What a saga!
I thoroughly enjoyed it all!
Alec and his team are sold to the Krie King as ‘pets’ at the end of book 1. This is exactly where book 2 takes off.
In many ways it’s a classic captor/captive romance
What I loved:
.) Alec and Zercy: They are both great MCs, but I adored Zercy probably a little bit more (which I know will make the purple alien grin wildly in pride). And btw, what is it with the colour purple and aliens? Do these authors know more than us? .😉😁)
Their romance is gradual and slow despite the clear physical attraction between the two. So much lovely UST! Alec’s ‘I know this is crazy, and I know I shouldn’t, but I’m drawn to him like a fly to the light’ is really well written.
Zercy’s growly, but gentle personality is totally endearing and tugged right at my heart.
.) Book 1 is undoubtedly a smut heaven, but here we get feels on top of the delicious, and at times very ‘naughty’ sex.
.) Kora Knight takes time to unfold what is happening on the planet, and while the plot is moving quite slowly (I think some parts could have been tightened up) it is totally captivating.
.) The fabulous world building continues from book 1, with us finding out so much more about the Krie and their world. The author’s imagination is endless and absolutely amazing, and I loved Sirus, the mad scientist and all his contraptions to bits, in particular.
.) Zercy’s bed. LOL. It’s completely ‘out of this world’. (My lips are sealed)
There are very few niggles but maybe some small incongruities which I had no bother pushing aside. This is 100% enjoyment.
It’s a shame there haven’t been other books in the series yet. I do hope the author will return to it because she’s clearly set up quite a few couples for further romance.
Let’s hope that it’s going to happen eventually!

TO SHORT, TO SHORT!!! That's saying something when almost 700 pages is not enough.
My nerves are on damn edge!!! SHIT THIS BOOK WAS SO FUCKING GOOD!! Sex was amazingly hot like FUCK. The chem between Zercy and Alec was off the damn charts. This book get me page turning even when I was dead tired and couldn't keep my eyes open.
But OMG was I laughing like a total loon lmaoo This is the first series I've read by Kora Knight and it will definitely not be my last because damn this woman can write. The world building, the sarcasm and joking had me in tears...literally lol Each character had such a hilarious sense of humor that I was never bored.
I haven't slept for a full 24 hours because I just wouldn't put the book down. The chem between Zercy and Alec was just sizzling right through me and I couldn't get enough. This book was literally like a drug. GAH PLEASE DON'T END!!! I really can't tell you guys how awesome this book is.
5 stars isn't enough to rate this master piece. Ugh!
My nerves are on damn edge!!! SHIT THIS BOOK WAS SO FUCKING GOOD!! Sex was amazingly hot like FUCK. The chem between Zercy and Alec was off the damn charts. This book get me page turning even when I was dead tired and couldn't keep my eyes open.
But OMG was I laughing like a total loon lmaoo This is the first series I've read by Kora Knight and it will definitely not be my last because damn this woman can write. The world building, the sarcasm and joking had me in tears...literally lol Each character had such a hilarious sense of humor that I was never bored.
I haven't slept for a full 24 hours because I just wouldn't put the book down. The chem between Zercy and Alec was just sizzling right through me and I couldn't get enough. This book was literally like a drug. GAH PLEASE DON'T END!!! I really can't tell you guys how awesome this book is.
5 stars isn't enough to rate this master piece. Ugh!

Holy cow. I have no idea what to say about this book. Is it possible just to include an audio of one long, loud scream because...that's what the vibe is. This book was utterly ridiculous and amazing and hot and a little stressful. I immediately DMed the author demanding (nicely) to know when the rest of the series is going to be written because I need those books like I need air.
Everything about this book is morally problematic. Probably ethically problematic, too. I want to inject it directly into my veins so I'll have it with me always.
