New Year’s resolutions get a bad rap, and with good reason. Statistics show that after a few months most people abandon them and go back to their old ways. But the idea behind making a resolution is solid. A new year represents 12 months of new opportunity to make a change for the better. I believe the reason most resolutions fail is that they’re not really goals-more like wishes that lack the specificity, accountability, and commitment to keep you on track. Most people try to make a resolution without making any real changes to their habits and mindsets They try to “power through” the change cold-turkey without doing the internal work it takes to stick to it. This book will give you some simple strategies and mindset shifts that will help you stick to the goals you set for this next year so that you can be better prepared to seize the health, body, opportunities, and life you want to have in the year to come.
This book is very well written. Loved the flow, the quality and quantity of information. You will enjoy the delivery of the authors message. He presents a lot of great information, examples and suggestions. Some of the info is common and shared elsewhere. He managed to keep my attention and share some great nuggets of wisdom. I like his writing style and attention to detail. I learned some new skills too. I would recommend this book to friends and family. Quick read and great presentation of usually boring information.
