Finding Christmas

Rate this book
The last thing bookstore owner Addison Jones needs or wants in her life is romance, especially when it comes to her former high school sweetheart, Sunset Bay Police Chief Patrick Doyle. As far as she’s concerned, he’d had his chance and had broken her heart not once, but twice. After his father died in his senior year, Patrick made the painful decision to put his relationship with Addison and their dreams on hold so he could step up for his family. Even more unforgivable in her mind was the day years later, when he showed up on her doorstep to tell her he’d arrested her younger brother, Brian. When the two of them are thrown together as best man and maid of honor at their best friend’s wedding, some of the old magic is rekindled. Addison’s efforts to help a young, single mom draw them even closer together. That’s when Patrick realizes he wants more than friendship. Addison is just as resolved to hold him at arm’s length. As they celebrate the joy of the holiday season, will they finally untangle their painful past and realize love and forgiveness are the best gifts of all?

Persistence for love

Patrick was persistent in his quest for Abby's forgiveness n love once he found d out why she was rejecting him. Once that was cleared up and the diversion of Sarah n her Baby it kept the story moving and drew all TBE characters in

A great second book in this series by Helen Lynch. These are characters that were introduced in book one.

I hope there is a third book coming.
