DECISIONS: EMP DISASTER NECESSITATES LANDING AT AREA 51

Rate this book
While on a routine late-night flight from San Francisco to Dallas, the crew of a commercial airliner suddenly finds themselves having to struggle with the effects of an EMP blast while in flight. After losing electronic navigational aids, radio, and radar instrumentation, the captain must find a place to land as soon as possible. His past experience as a contract pilot for a government agency over 15 years ago, offers him the only real solution to landing his aircraft and passengers safely. Having flown private contractors in and out of Las Vegas McCarran Air Port to a Top Secret U.S. Air Force base in southern Nevada, Captain Albright feels he might be able to safely land at this location. He is now faced with a critical decision; land at the highly restricted Area 51 or risk crashing. Once Captain Albright lands, he finds that the base at Area 51 is completely abandoned. The mystery of the whereabouts of the base personnel and the challenges his passengers must face with no assistance from base personnel means they will have to fend for themselves in an atmosphere with no electric power and limited rations.

Good Read

Suspenseful, good organization and team work, on behalf of the captain. It had some mystery to it. Concept was well thought-out, characters well developed and believable. Someone needs to edit for typo, missing prepositions and punctuation. Spell check would have you found most of it. Other than that, good read.

Interesting

I think this deserves a look. There are things that might be better. Having said that there is a great deal of interesting thought here.

Great story

Great characters and I really liked the plot. Sounds just like something that could happen and be coveted up. Good reading.

Decisions

Good storyline, but sometimes difficult to follow because it is a narrative. But overall a good story to read on a hot summer day.

Nice book but it keeps switching characters with no separation. A bit disconcerting to the overall flow of the book. Still a good read
