Bizarre and possibly inappropriate Chuck Palaniuk reference aside, it is vital to read the first book in this duology or you will hit the first page on book 2 with sudden neck jarring stop. Thankfully, I am deep enough into the rabbit hole of Reverse Harem, I had purchased book one way back in the first week of January on 2018, that was able to read them back to back in two nights.

The first thing *I found was the brilliance that Savannah Skye is able to create characters in a few lines of dialogue, inner and outer as well as their physical movements. Be it in book 1 or Book 2. For instance, Luke's distance stare shows how he is never quite there, Cora's handing over of her friend in book on and then willingness to go back for others trapped in the McLaren dungeon, show her inner courage.

The plot in book two races along, a virtual action film with 'action' in the bed room, or on the floor. There is also horror at in what shifters will do shifters as man will do to man.

As usual, the romance between one woman and her four men is comfortable because the author, Ms. Sky makes us feel as if they are building a pack of their own and each male fills another part of a woman's need.

While not quite the classic of Rebecca Royce's Wings of Artemis series, Her Howling Harem does indeed carve a special place in the Reverse Harem PNR genre on its own.

Explosive ending

The story was pretty good. It wasn't an edge of your seat nail biter, but it had a decent plot and a decent bit of action and a whole lotta lovin. It didn't overwhelm the story like many of these types of stories do, but it was hot. Although the guys names got mixed up several times, which threw me off. I do wish the author would give us epilogues in her stories. I would have loved to see what happened with with the clans in much more depth. Maybe even got a little of Clares romance. It just seems the author glosses over parts of her stories and leaves situations and subplots hanging leaving the reader to wonder. Maybe if we got a third story with the Clans and Clare and her wolves, it would have been much more satisfying.

Despite this issue, the books were worth reading.

Arianna and her men, plot a way to save Rafe and Cora. Arianna tries to get her father to lend aid, he denies her and abandons Cora to her fate. They receive unexpected help from a friend to both Ari and Cora, which leads them to Marcus and his small band of mercenaries. Marcus and his men may lend their aid for money, but they are honorable and loyal to their employers. Saving Cora and Rafe, turns out to be the beginning of the end of the war.
Great ending to a great story. Fast paced and steamy. Make me hope for a story for Cora and for Marcus and his mercenaries.

A very well written shifter story that is the second part of this series. You have to have read the first book to understand this one. A great storyline and nice plot. Amazing characters that are well described and develops nicely.
A story about a shifter getting caught and used for science. A very steaming hot story that has lots of it. It is rather captivating and has the length so you can read it in one session. Would have loved more depth to the story though.

This is the 2nd book in the series and the conclusion, another fantastic read by Savannah Skye but I’m sad because it’s the last one. I won’t be giving any spoilers but it’s packed full of adventure with Arianna and her men. I had to read book 1 again and the continued with book 2 and I’m so glad I did. There’s action, adventure and some really hot steamy scenes. I loved the characters and it was a well written story. All in all it was a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Great ending to the series. I am happy now. I was unhappy when the first one ended in a cliffhanger. But with this one it is an awesome series. I would get both of them and read them back to back. You get your answers from the first one in this one. It is exciting, fun, emotional, suspenseful and so much more. I recommend them. This is the exciting conclusion to this series. A paranormal reverse harem romance that is blended with action, danger, twists, suspense and loads of heat and steam. This shifter story offers sizzling chemistry, a great emotional connection between the characters and a powerful, engaging plot that totally sucks you in. This was a good follow-up to Book One, with Arianna getting closer to her howling harem when Rafe and Cora are taken.The sex scenes were smokin' hot, but I also wanted to see some more relationship development between Arianna and her men. The pace and action were good, and the story kept me on edge, but I wanted to see more interplay between Arianna and the other main characters.

The second and last book of the set. She may of escaped her enemies but one of her men is missing and may be used as an experiment by her enemies. Who can she and her men go to for help? Will her father help? Lots more adventure and action and by the end things really heat up.
