Three coworkers are trapped together. But the dangerous blizzard could become a perfect storm for love.
Linc I’m all about work. Always have been, and even more so since my last relationship ended. I don’t mind being single. Not at all. I get what I need when I need it. And there’s never a shortage of hotties who will give me what I want on any weekend I choose to go out looking. The rest of my time is my own. I like it that way. But I’ll do anything to get ahead. Even go on a three week long team building retreat, way the hell out in the middle of nowhere. In winter. Being organized by a woman I can’t stand.
Mykayla Why is true love so hard to find? I know I should be totally focused on my brand new career, and I have been. But surely there’s someone out there who’s a perfect match for me. I want so much for it to be Jase, but he’s living with another man. Yes, the most perfect guy in the world is gay. Just my luck.
Jase I’m doing pretty well on my own. But I’m ready to settle down. So I’d be happier with a woman in my life. Or a man. Or both. I’d put the chances of that happening at around zero. Maybe less than zero. I’m so used to hiding who I really am. I’m getting tired of it. Mykayla’s someone I could see myself settling down with. Having a regular life. But I don’t know if I can be with just one person. No matter how great she is.
Snow Bound is a hot standalone mmf bisexual romance. A great book for fans of sexy bisexual sex scenes, threesome menages and a guaranteed HEA ending. No cliffhangers!
What are three people to do when snow bound in a remote cabin, with limited supplies, no power, and not much firewood? Well, make your own heat, of course!
Mykayla is new to the tech company, but she’s heard all about the annual 3-week-long, team building retreats, and is excited to be involved with the planning. However, instead of heading off to a tropical or exotic destination, they’re heading to the boss’ cabin upstate. She can work with that. She has her career-climb planned, and nothing will stop her.
Linc is very driven, just like Mykayla – but he works best alone. He doesn’t need or want to work with other people – just leave him alone to do his work, and everyone will be happy. When he arrives at the cabin to find his usual room occupied – it throws his ordered life into upheaval. As the days go by - what has happened to his loathing of Mykayla? It has deserted him in his hour of need.
Jase is easy-going and friends with everyone. He has a very outgoing personality, and is well-liked in the company from management on down. A rugged, handsome outdoorsy fellow, he’s more at home hiking a trail than sitting in a boardroom.
All three have recently gotten out of long-term relationships, and Mykayla and Linc are not necessarily looking for a happily ever after. Jase is ready to settle down with the right woman or man – it just has to be the right person. Unfortunately (or fortunately), love and opportunity put them on a collision course, and their lives will never be the same.
The author drops us into the story in progress, but carefully (and slyly) gives us the backstory as we meet all three characters. Will they find love or just lust? Will the storm ever clear? How can three people find a happily ever after together?
One work retreat, one cabin in the dead of winter. 3 co-workers. 2 guys and a girl.
It was suppose to be work. It was suppose to be a large group. Not being snowed in with Jason who Mykayla has a crush on but knows it'll never go anywhere or Linc who dispises her. Linc is stuck with the lady who annoys him with her cheerful nature, and Jason who makes him on edge with their competitive driven natures.
They are all a little different and Jason is openly gay.... Or is it something else.
One snow storm, one cabin and all the lust enthralls them all.
I like mmf bisexual romances as it is always a test on each others belief systems, mental state, hearts and vulnerability. Plus the sex is always steamy.
With this story it moved sometimes without a suggestion of time passing which confused me at times and made me reread so I knew it was a new day or weeks later.
The book carried in some areas too much like the anticipation leading up just was drawn out too much. Such as the scene in the forest chopping wood.
And the ending was too quick. How long had they returned to their lives? Any work issues with them together? What about their first date? And the book suggested m/m only but really that scene was simply implied, but unlike other scenese which were put into words it never was set.
I also expected more reservations from Linc instead of the sudden lust fueled steps he made.
It's a good short story. Would love to know how this triad works out.
If you like stories the question the normal romance scales this is a good read to jump into.
Somehow the relationship dynamic feels realistic but still super hot and steamy, even trapped in a cabin in the middle of nowhere with no power in a blizzard. Linc is such a amazing man, and Jase is a sweet soul who struggles to find his place in the world. Mikalya felt like such a normal woman with real everyday struggles. I'm so happy they found their way to a HFN that works for their triad.
Chocolate, wine, fire in a fireplace, cabin in the woods...a dream! But even better with two hunks!! Spice up your life!! This wonderful story will heat you up from page one until the end! Awesome story, full of surprises, love, steamy sex & more as the three are trapped by snow!! Who could resist?
I really enjoyed the story of Jase, Link and Mykayla. It’s just the 3 of them. Jase tells Mykayla what he is looking in the long run she agrees. So then they wait to see what will happen with Linc. It’s really a great story. I couldn’t put it down.
Hot spots! It was nice that is wasn’t all about the sex it was their feelings about it. Getting all three point of views. I liked the suspense of the cabin. If you like these hot sexy books then I recommend this one!
This has been my favorite Vix story so far. I loved the chemistry between all three. I hated how much internal monologue there was. I found myself skimming a lot of it. But I still really enjoyed this story
Triple POV. There are a few sexy scenes but a couple more would have been nice, especially when you find out what they’ve done but haven’t been privy to. Yes, the situation is ridiculous but it’s still fun. I really needed an epilogue instead of the HFN ending.
I actually really like it! Linc was annoyed by Mykayla yet it was so sweet seeing him starting to fall for both Jase and Mykayla the writing was not that horrible either considering the ridiculous cover hahaha. 3.6 stars⭐️ #goawaycovid19
This is true of the whole series: unrealistic premises (bummer), fast time lines (meh), and true equality in the romance between each of the characters (yay!). The amount of detail given to the MM relationship independent of the MF and MMF interactions is what had me continuing with the rest of the books. I haven't found many MMF/MFM stories that give equal attention to relationship between the guys as to the relationship between the girl and the guys.
