The dream quickly turns into a nightmare when a fellow planner is poisoned at the welcome dinner. When another murder follows quickly on the first, it’s clear that the killer is out for revenge. Can Annabelle and her colorful crew discover who’s poisoning the planners before the killer serves up another dose of death? Eat, Prey, Love is the seventh book in the Annabelle Archer cozy mystery series. If you like charming characters, fast-paced comedy, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the wild world of weddings, then you’ll love Laura Durham’s Agatha award-winning series. Buy Eat, Prey, Love to discover the award-winning mystery series today! Interview with the Author Q - So, what makes the Annabelle Archer series special? A - The Annabelle Archer wedding planner mysteries are based on my 20 plus years of planning society weddings in Washington, DC. That means I’ve seen tons of crazy things happen, and I’ve worked with lots of colorful characters. I bring that light-hearted sense of fun and zany characters into the novels. A lot of the humorous details I include in my books actually happened at my weddings! And since the books are about weddings, there is plenty of food, décor, and behind the scenes details. The Annabelle Archer books are fast-paced cozy mysteries featuring a female protagonist with a little romance and comedy thrown in. You'll find the series focuses on the murder mystery and amateur sleuth genre, with a jewelry heist caper and ghost story in the mix to keep things interesting. Plus, Richard acquired a Yorkie in Review To A Kill, so the latest books are also for fans of animal or dog mysteries. I’m working on an Annabelle cookbook to share the recipes for all the culinary treats mentioned in the books. Richard is a caterer, after all, and he loves food and cooking! So, in a way these books are also culinary mysteries! Q – In what order should I read the books? A –I'd suggest the following - Better Off Wed - For Better Or Hearse - Dead Ringer—A Novella - Review To A Kill - Death on the Aisle - Night of the Living Wed—A Novella - Eat, Prey, Love Q - So, why should readers give these books a try? A - Because the Annabelle Archer cozy mystery series is fun, light, and the perfect escape or beach reading. Better Off Wed has hit number one in the Kindle store and the series has hit the top ten bestsellers list on Kindle for Cozy Mysteries, Amateur Sleuths, and Women Sleuths. Plus, the first book in the series won the Agatha Award for the Best First Novel. Thanks for reading! Praise for the Annabelle Archer "A delightfully witty blend of murder and matrimony"- Donna Andrews, author of "Gone Gull" and "How the Finch Stole Christmas" "Cozy mystery lovers should briskly march up their bookstore aisles to grab a copy of Better Off Wed."-- Susan McBride, author of "Come Helen High Water" "Laura Durham has given her readers a reason to celebrate.

I don't know why or how but this book series always motivates me to work more and work harder. I absolutely love these characters, they are soo damn comforting to read.
.
No matter where she lands, wedding planner Annabella Archer always ends up attracting dead bodies. When her FAM trip turns into another murder investigation, this time she is not just the one on the suspect list but she might become the next victim of the killer. Everyone is trying to keep her out of the investigation, but she is the problem solver who cannot help but solve problems, even the murder investigations🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
.
I love the work colleagues turning into a found family troop in this series, seriously this is one of my favourite found families ever🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶. If you like cosy murder mysteries then this is a must-read book series for you. I am soo unhappy that I cannot find a single person who has read or at least heard of this series, this book series deserves more recognition than it gets.

Anna Belle Archer owns and operates Wedding Bells a Wedding planning service. While at a Wedding conference on exotic Bali several Wedding planners are murdered and Anna Belle and her crew can't help but to investigate. I loved the authors descriptions of the luxury hotels and the exotic beaches. In this book you not only get Murder but there are some humorous scenes also. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

A fun mystery set in Bali. I didn't figure out the killer though I was sure they were wrong in who they thought did it.

The newest Annabelle Archer is a lovely visit to Bali, topped off with murder. Laura Durham feeds us clues and good red herrings throughout the book, so the reader can't figure out the murder early but can guess and analyze. Fun nonsense and humor abound without going over the top.

EXOTIC TRAVELS = SUPER SUSPENSE!!

Annabelle Archer owns and operates Wedding Belles in the DC area. Along with her able assistant Kate, Annabelle has managed to surround herself with an excellent Caterer, Hair Stylist and Floral Designers. This team has really begun to establish themselves as Wedding Planners who can make your Dream Wedding come true! They also have a reputation for finding murder victims. Not very good for Wedding Planning business! They try to downplay that reputation. Eat, Pray, Love finds the group traveling to exotic Bali for a working vacation. They are invited guests but they are there to learn from all the other Wedding Planners (and people related to the Wedding Industry) as well. Their accommodations are fantastic! The group is almost overwhelmed because they are so exhausted from all the Weddings they’ve done in the past. Soon, they discover there is something terribly amiss. One guest dies and when it is proven to be murder, Annabelle and her friends find themselves in a familiar position - and not one they ever wanted to be in again. Join Annabelle and her friends on this excursion through a beautiful land, meet many new and interesting characters and see if you can solve the mystery as Durham leads you through a maze-like plot that will keep you in suspense until the very end! I was provided an ARC of this book by the author. The opinions expressed here are entirely my own and without influence.

A murder mystery in an exotic locale - what's not to like about this storyline? While at a wedding conference, several wedding planners are murdered and Annabelle and gang can't help but investigate. The author's colorful and lush description of the exotic beach locale of Bali and the beautiful luxury hotels there was just captivating - I hope she was writing this based on a personal visit! This book was not only about murder and mystery, it was also quite humorous - Annabelle's unfortunate shower scene was just too funny...and my favorite line in the entire book "why don't you run off before someone drops a house on you" made me laugh out loud! The author's strength lies in her descriptive writing style with details that you can totally picture in your mind - the salad bites in glass balls in the claw foot tub comes to mind as well as the floral and table décor - very lush and colorful. Reese and Annabelle's crazy neighbor also make brief appearances, keeping you linked back home as those characters weren't on location. And another great book cover - very striking!

I really enjoyed reading this book. Laura Durham has once again shown her ability to create a o but with some chuckles thrown in for good measure. Her descriptions of the beautiful Island of Bali has you believing that all you have to do is close your eyes and your transported there. This story is different as it takes place on an exotic island and there is no wedding to plan. Bali watch out! Here comes Annabelle and friends!!! It proves that Annabelle Archer can be right in the middle, as always...of Murder! At the Luxurious hotel they are staying at for the FAM event it seems that old adage; Don't Drink the (Water),...err or should we say "alcohol" or you may die! may be more apt. Annabelle just can't stay out of it. This means that Annabelle, Richard, Kate and Fern are once again in a crazy mess and people are dropping...literally!
Get ready for some new adventure mixed with plenty of chuckles. Perhaps Annabelle should make new business cards: Annabelle Archer: Planner of Beautiful Weddings and maybe a little Murder!

I love the characters in Eat, Pray, Love. Laura Durham has done a great job with her characters and including them all into this story which takes place in Bali.
Carol Ann is the planner who wants to make a career of planning FAM trips for wedding planners. She has invited planners from all over the country to Bali to showcase the hotel they are all staying in. I love how Annabelle's mind works to try and solve the murders but just herself in a bigger mess when first one, then another and yet another bridal planner is murder on the FAM excursion in Bali. I love the descriptions of Bali's scenic places to visit, the clothes and food. One would think Laura Durham had visited there because of colorful descriptions. Unfortunately, Detective Reese Annabella's newly found romantic interest boyfriend cop isn't there to keep Annabelle out of harms way.

I received free book for an honest review.

Annabelle and the gang are off to Bali for a wedding convention.
Thrilled to be there, everyone is having great time and enjoying themselves until the unthinkable happens and one of the attendees drops dead.
Everyone is flabbergasted and Annabelle is really trying not to get involved but, everywhere she turns it seems there is a dead body waiting for her to find it.
So, what is a girl to do but ask a few questions here and there and try to figure out what is going on.
Will she put herself in danger again and will a knight in shining armor be there in time to help her out? Read to find out what happens in this riveting and cleverly written books.
This is the seventh book in this series and another great cozy read for fans of Annabelle Archer.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Eat, Prey, Love is a cozy mystery full of laughs, quirky lovable characters, and an Agatha Christy type crime. For those of us Annabelle Archer followers we find this story different in setting and storyline but just as fun and puzzling. This time Annabelle and crew(Fern, Richard , Buster, Mack, and Kate) travel to Bali not for a wedding but to check out possible wedding venues. Without the over the top mothers-of-bride, nervous brides, and laid back grooms you may think that Annabelle would have no problems to solve...wrong. If you have not read any of the series, this a good place to start as the plot while based on the last book stands alone, the characters are developed so that you think you know them, and the descriptions are such that you feel you are in Bali. This is a real treat!

Annabelle Archer and friend Kate are wedding planners in DC. They and other members of their team have been invited to Bali as part of a destination trip. The resort is gorgeous and luxurious. Annabelle is excited to be here and hopes to become a part of future trips. She is disappointed to see Jeremy Johns who caused problems at a previous wedding is also a guest. Midway through the first cocktail hour a fellow wedding planner dies. Everything begins going downhill from there.

This is the first book that I’ve read in the Annabelle Archer mystery series. I really enjoyed it and look forward to beginning the series at the start. I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book about a FAM (familiarization) trip for wedding planners. As Annabelle Archer and her staff are about to begin enjoying their trip to Bali, the body of another wedding planner is found when she drops dead at their first social gathering.
When the body count keeps increasing Annabelle tried to solve the case.
This is a must read for those of you who like these type of mysteries. Laura Durham has done a great job with the characters and locales in this book. You feel like you could see the people and places.

I have always enjoyed Laura Durham's mystery books. They are tightly plotted, with fun and engaging characters and snappy dialogue. This one incorporates a wedding-planner's group trip to the island of Bali, where Annabelle gets caught up in solving multiple murders. (Instead of the wedding party, it's the party planners this time, and who better to plan a murder than a planner?)

A fantastic vacation read - take it with you to the beach, and watch out for mysterious characters on the page or off.

I received the book on Booksprout and i am voluntarily leaving a review. That said, Laura Durham is one of my favorite authors. I love the Annabelle Archer series and all the characters. I love how each new book extends the story and enhances the characters. I adore the bridezillas and/or the monster mother-of-the-bride’s! This is the first book without a wedding, so no bridezillas, but you get instead plenty of catty wedding planners! The plot is great with multiple murders for the gang to solve! Wonderful vacation setting! Great, absolutely great read!

Annabelle is off to a foreign land and ends up solving more crime! Excellent characters in a romantic setting! Durham has just the right components, once again, to pull you in so you feel like you are right there in the thick of things! Characters are believable, plot sounds plausible and just the right amount of suspense to make you want more! More books that is! A great read!

Another great read!

I love the cast of characters In these books and a wedding planner conference was the perfect place to meet a few new ones! The story was interesting and the bits of Balinese culture added interest to the story. As usual, Annabelle and her friends get tangled Into murder investigations and a lot of hilarity ensues while they try to solve it!
This is such a fun series! Can’t wait to read the next one!

Very exciting

Lots of excitement in this one. Annabelle and her crew are in Bali, on a familiarization trip to a luxury resort with a number of other planners, when people start dying. There are several murders and lots of intrigue, as Annabelle and the gang discover the links between the victims, and eventually figure out who did it. I love all of these stories.

I have read these books back to back from 1-7 and thoroughly enjoyed the ups and downs of a wedding planner and her friends. The stories are well written but you won't know how good they are until you try reading them yourself

Always a good time!

Annabelle and her team head to Bali for a relaxing getaway conference but people are ending up murdered and if Annabelle can’t figure it out, she just might be next. There were a lot of funny moments and the ending was so sweet and perfect!

Trip to Bali now needed

I have read all of the Annabelle Archer books so far and this one had me the most off base I trying to surmise who the bad guy/girl was going to end up being. Major curve ball. Loved it and the budding romance for Annabelle.

Love this one

Another great book. I loved this one because they were all away on a trip and that's when trouble started. She always knows how to keep the reader sucked into the story. Also the detail of the story makes me want to travel to Bali myself and stay at this hotel. Can't wait for the next story

Bali land of enchantment and death?

Not as many laughs as usual but still very good and hilarious. No problematic weddings this time around but the deaths are like the EveReady rabbit the keep on going.
