Triple home run !!!!!! loved every single one of these books !!!! a guaranteed re-read
Sultry Groove (Reckless Beat, #4)
- first to start of with - understated talent !!! this book is a proof for the understated talent that is Eden Summers. Her books just get better and better and I honestly can't wait for the next one, and this one goes one the re-read list!!!
I'm the kind of reader that I highlight the parts of the book, great quotes and scenes ... let me tell you - this whole book ended up being highlighted.
its the perfect mixture of all you need and want in a book to fall in love with it - rock band, love trouble, humor, tears and HEA.
This is a story between Sean, the drummer (how hot is that !!!!!! screw Mason /lead vocalist/, I want Sean!!!) of the Reckless beat and Melody, wonderful dancer that is working with our drummer.
Sean, on the first idea, you think of him as your typical rockstar - good looks, obnoxious attitude and women falling all over him
Except this rockstar is suffering from a broken heart and having it rubbed in daily to wanting to start standing out and taking more credit in the band !!!! I say, put the drum set on a pedestal and hit more lights in his face :) but what do I know... this book is about finding out what true love is and what it means to fight for it and for your chance to prove that love.
Also the book is about a boy growing up and realizing what he wants in the means of his career cause "being famous" or "front and center" is maybe what you think you want but when actually having the thing you want and when you want it ... all the superficial stuff seem stop to matter.
Mel or Melody is this beautiful dancer that is forcing herself to step down and blend in but with Sean's bluntness and being prone to the most ridiculous situations there are ... that just won't cut it ...
Melody is a beautiful and talented girl that has had it though in life and is now paying the price for it ... or is she hiding from the world and from trying again?
In the book we learn what our scars (those in and out side) look to us and to others and what it takes to break the circle and take a go at life no matter what others think ? almost like saying "we see our faults/scars much worse then how they really are" and ask yourself "is this what is gonna stop me to live my life" ??
The development of their relationship is so real and so emotional that you wouldn't believe that he's a rockstar and she once a world famous dancer. The best part is all the names that he comes up with to call her that give a special touch that makes you love the book more and more ...
Soooo, to prevent from me copy/paste most of the book here in this review I suggest you get it and get busy cause let me tell you Eden's books are KICKASS good. its on that level that when you go to re-read the highlights and quotes that caught my eye you end up re-reading the whole thing all over again ... you start and next thing you know, you are reading THE END ....

This book is a tease, just a mean tease meant to keep the Leah-Ryan fire burning in our veins, and let me tell you, Eden is the girl to make it happen.
This story is short but sizzling hot, and makes you wanna rip the pages of the final book in this series (but I can't focus on that sad tidbit just yet!)
Oh, Leah, I could've told you that wouldn't work, but good for you girl !!! You have the right to get your freak on, and to prove to yourself what is it you need and what the heart wants.
In the end we can't outrun our feelings, and it come to the crossing weather you cut loose or fight for what you want in life .... and Leah just might start fighting herself just to keep going, one day at the time. have to wait for the final book to see what will happen, but I have a feeling the fire is still strong and growing

- It's the grand finale that we all been waiting for since starting the series :)
once you start this series, you fall hard for all the guys and their better halves but Leah and Ryan's story is special and it brings them all a full circle :)
But this one is special, Leah - the manager of the group and the only one sane to keep them all leveled , is set to keep her cool and survive the end of the tour, but Ryan has come out as a free man after the divorce and among the storms that are ahead, he has set his sight on one woman that has haunted him since the beginning and there is a reason for it, that he will fight to see it go his way. But the obstacles upfront will be the ultimate test to see if this is what he wants above all else. If SHE is what he wants now and forever.
He is a man on a mission, and she doesn't stand a chance
A perfect ending to a series, it will make you laugh and it will make you cry, but you will enjoy every minute of it !!! and then there is also Mason, cause we can't have a book without him being the lead pain in the ass, just how we like it !!!

Sultry Groove
I absolutely love this series. Normally, I read Historical and am very picky about the few Contemporary that I read. When I found the first novel, "Blind Attraction", I didn't stop reading until I was done. I was blown out of the water. The book was everything I look for. It was entertaining with the dialogue between band members, the sex scenes were erotic and well written. You wanted to be friends with the heroine yet were jealous of her because of her man. I quickly read the next four and they too did not disappoint.
I have been waiting for "Sultry Groove" since I read Mason and Sidney's story. The drummer for the band, Sean Taiden, has been in love with the woman that co-wrote their songs, Sidney Higgins for years. He had a three-way with her and Mason, then lost her for four years when the sex tape went viral. Now that Mason has reclaimed her, Sean is devastated. He is having to attend their engagement party and pretend nothing is wrong. He gets thoroughly drunk as the party progresses. The band manager, Leah, introduces Melody Jenkins to the members of the band and finds Sean passed out. Sean is tired of being the guy in the background, the one that groupies have sex with in hopes he hooks them up with the frontmen. Sean has asked to star in the video for their new single Fighting Against the Attraction. Melody is the choreographer. She has quit dancing after a tragic accident and now runs a dance studio. Once Sean is semi-sober, the attraction between them is immediate. Melody is someone he can use to forget Sidney. If he can only remember her name.
Did I say that I have been hooked since the first book? I was reading something else but put it down as soon as I got this ARC. I was not disappointed. The interaction between band members is always hilarious. The reader is left knowing that they are more than a band, they are family. The guys support Sean and Sean respects Mason and does not want to destroy his relationship with Sidney as much as it rips out his heart. Melody has her own scars that she must get past. The story develops and holds the readers attention. The characters develop as we get more depth from Sean.
This is a series that I have re-read several times. I love Eden Summers edgy writing style. While each book has a different member of the band to focus on, the other members still play a part. I have been waiting for Ryan to have his HEA with Leah since book one. The sad thing is I know once Ryan's book is written, the series is over.

To preserve her sanity and career, she turns off her cell phone and heads to Las Vegas. She got a piercing done by Logan during a bridal shower dare between guys and girls. Leah wants to see if the attraction was mutual and to erase the years of loving Ryan.
First, this is a novella, only 63 pages on my app. Second, if you haven't read the entire series, go back and read the four books prior, then read this. After I read the novel, I just sat and processed. For only being 63 pages, it packed quite a wallop. Leah's trip to Vegas almost combusted my e-reader. But, it didn't resolve anything. I was so torn. Part of me wants Ryan to resolve his issues and have a HEA with Leah. Part of me wants Logan (and possibly Cole) to find Leah and have a HEA. I will just have to wait for book 5.

Knowing this is the end of a series, I wanted this book to be amazing. I received an ARC from Eden Summers and immediately loaded it onto my e-reader. Then, I didn't stop reading until I was done.
While this book is Ryan's, the whole Reckless Bead band plays an important part. There was the relationship of the band with their manager. The dedication Leah gives to each member of the band. The support his friends give Ryan when he is going through an ugly period in his life. What the guys do for Ryan so he can have his HEA.
This book makes you feel Ryan's pain. Just when he thinks that he is going to get his love, the rug is brutally ripped from under him. But, the ending is the sweetest ending to this amazing series.
I received an ARC from the author for the three books. I did not receive monitory compesnation for my review.

Love the Reckless Beat crew!
4 - Sultry Groove: Sean was always a mystery, he seems content being the drummer in Reckless Beat but we learn in this story that he truly doesn’t know where he fits. He feels slighted since all the fans focus on the other 4 band members making him feel like the fifth wheel instead of an important band member. After Sidney chooses Mason, he really flounders to the band decides to let him be the focus of the next music video. Melody is the choreographer for the video, she has her own skeletons to deal with, at one time a premiere dancer who now takes a backseat to everyone else. I was truly blown away by Sean’s insecurities while at the same time he becomes this incredible gentleman and support to Melody. Melody is so lost after a tragic event shifts her confidence and leaves her broken. This story was beautifully tragic yet hopeful journey as these two amazing people connect and manage to help each other find their true selves.
4.5 - Reckless Rendezvous: What a fun and sexy surprise. Leah escapes to Vegas, leaving the band behind for the first time to take a break. Ryan kissing her flip her world. She has loved him from a far for years and finally got what she wanted but all at the wrong time. She returns to the sexy tattoo artist Logan for a wonderfully sexy distraction. As much as she needs to quiet the voices in her head, Logan can’t break through the realization that as she built her career working for Reckless Beat, she lost all other aspects of her life. Will she find the strength to return to Reckless Beat?
5 - Undeniable Temptation: Finally, Ryan and Leah’s story. Leah is the glue, the force behind Reckless Beat. From the moment she met Ryan, there was a different connection but Ryan is married. These two work to have a great friendship until one day, Ryan changes everything. Ryan, he is the nice guy, always faithful to his wife even though their marriage is a mess and love disappeared long ago. When he gets divorce papers, he has a sense of failure and relief. He also boldly takes what he has always wanted from Leah. Now, this journey to love is not easy. Leah isn’t allowed to have a relationship with a band member. Ryan has his soon to be ex-wife to deal with and issues with the band. Truly a drama filled romance as all I wanted was these two amazing characters to get the love and relationship they both deserved. This was the perfect way to wrap up the band members stories of pursuing their passion and finding love.

Sultry Groove: Sultry Groove left me with a huge book hangover; it kept me reading straight through to the end, into the wee hours of the morning! The plot was fast paced and filled with angst. I already loved the Reckless Beat books and characters, but this was by far my favorite book of the series. It was so incredibly good, and I'd give it more stars if I could! The characters were complex and believable. Sean is tired of being in his friends' shadows, both on stage and with the women, and he's tired of pining after his best friend's fiance. Despite being a hot, arrogant drummer in public, Sean is sweet and vulnerable with Melody. I liked that his personality had so many facets. His character just really spoke to me. Melody is a confident dancer but finds herself uncertain and self conscious in her new career. They come together to work on a music video for Reckless Beat. (I loved their dancing together!) Will Sean find the "distraction" he needs to stop thinking about his best friend's fiance? Will Melody be able to recover from her physical and emotional scars enough to let anyone in?

Reckless Weekend brings us back to Vegas and the hot man who gave Leah her piercing in Reckless Weekend. Logan promised when he gave Leah the piercing that if she were ever interested, he would ruin her for all other men. Leah needs a break from the band members of Reckless Beat and their drama, so she decides to take Logan up on his offer. While Leah is visiting Logan in Vegas, his friend Cole also turns up for a visit, and the two men offer Leah a night she won't forget. Will she accept it? Or will she stay true to her secret love in Reckless Beat, Ryan? This is probably the hottest of the Reckless Beat books thus far!

I loved the writing and the book; I'm sad that this marks the end of the Reckless Beat series. The conclusion of this outstanding series is bittersweet. I already loved the Reckless Beat books and characters, and Undeniable Temptation is no exception. The characters were complex and believable. Ryan and Leah have been the best of friends for years, but their relationship was recently strained. SULTRY GROOVE
What a beautiful story filled with a rollercoaster of emotions. I couldn’t wait to get started on Sean’s book, he seemed like such a great character in previous books and I couldn’t wait to know more about him and get inside his head. My heart broke for him most of the book and for Melody at the end, I found they were perfect together although Melody’s character did confuse me a little at the start. There was just something about her that I wasn’t a big fan of. But towards the end I did start to feel for her and I’m glad she finally got over her insecurities.

RECKLESS RENDEZVOUS
I couldn’t wait to finally start reading Leah’s story, I absolutely loved her character in the previous books. And Logan just seemed hot! I loved these two together, some parts were very steamy. There was a little hope that Leah would find her happily ever after in this story with Logan but I’m excited to see what happens in the next Reckless Beat book

Such a great book. I absolutely loved Ryan and Leah together including the rest of the band. I loved the humour and the rollercoaster of emotions, It’s so hard not to fall in love with these characters. It was very well written and I loved living in their world during my read.
There were so many sweet and cute moments between Ryan and Leah including some very hot and steamy scenes in the story. I loved how much Ryan fought for her especially towards the end, there were a lot of moments that my heart broke for him and I’m glad he finally got his happy ending. There were so many times that I felt sorry for Leah and times where I wanted to shake some sense in to her.
I was so excited to know there are a few books/novellas in the works for more Reckless stories, it was sad knowing this book could be the last for the gang - loved these guys so much
What a beautiful story filled with a rollercoaster of emotions. I couldn’t wait to get started on Sean’s book, he seemed like such a great character in previous books and I couldn’t wait to know more about him and get inside his head. My heart broke for him most of the book and for Melody at the end, I found they were perfect together although Melody’s character did confuse me a little at the start. There was just something about her that I wasn’t a big fan of. But towards the end I did start to feel for her and I’m glad she finally got over her insecurities.

I loved every one of these books in this set. Eden Summers is such an amazing author. I really loved reading this fun and exciting series with the Reckless Beat men. The characters were sexy, fun, and way too exciting. I was on the edge of my seat while reading each book. One minute something would happen and then the next it would all change. I never knew what was going to happen next. I love it when a book does that to me.
Finally we get to hear the entire Leah and Ryan story that has been hinted at since the first book and it really is worth the wait!
You have to read this series because I am not giving anything away as it is just too good to ruin the surprises and fun it holds.
These books were well written and detailed so that as you read you could visualise the characters and situations as they happened. You can feel the character's emotions and actually experience them with them. These books are addicting and you will not be able to put them down.

Really enjoyed the conclusion to the Reckless Beat series with this set... Sultry Groove with Sean and Melody's story; Reckless Rendezvous with Leah's breakdown after Ryan's drunken kiss; and Undeniable Temptation with Leah and Ryan's story. There's a lot of heart and soul to each of these stories as the characters deal with their personal demons and instant chemistry. There are plenty of bumps along the way, a lot of soul searching, and plenty of sexy scenes to make the stories compelling and the characters ones you want to get to know better. I've enjoyed this whole series and recommend reading the stories in order (I started off with the second book in the series - loved it so much that I went back to the beginning). Each story can be read stand-alone, but you'll get more out of them if you read them in order. Eden Summers writing style is full of emotion and angst, along with incredibly sexy scenes to keep you enticed until the end. Will definitely look to read more by this author (have also read and really enjoyed the Vault series, and Inarticulate).

Sultry Groove - I really liked this installment in the Reckless Beat series. Sean and Melody will touch your hearts and make you wish you had that kind of love in your life. I highly suggest you read the other books in this series as it will give you some background on Sean and the other characters that are mentioned in this book.
Reckless Rendezvous - Loved this novella and getting to know more about Leah. I admire her courage and am impressed with how strong she is. This is a good connection to the last book in the series and I highly suggest you read about all of these band members!
Undeniable Temptation - Last book in this series and I'm bummed. I want more Reckless Beat! So, I really liked this installment with Leah & Ryan. It's not my favorite of the series but still a great read. I love when we get epilogues from authors and this will not disappoint! Such a wonderful series and I have thoroughly enjoyed reading these twice!

Three books under one cover!
Sultry Groove: Sean is nursing his broken heart after losing his chance with Sidney. Now he has to learn to dance for the band's new video. The choreographer is a good distraction, but she has her own demons. When they're together, they are outstanding. There is really palpable pain in places in this entire series and definitely in this story. The author does an outstanding job getting feelings across.
Reckless Rendezvous: Leah spends some time with her piercer from Reckless Weekend. Can't wait for the next one--this one made me so sad!
Undeniable Temptation: The end of the series is worth the wait! A great conclusion! Ryan and Leah were best friends until they weren't. Now they are off-limits to each other, but the attraction is smoldering and Ryan's ex making the whole situation worse. I've spent the last couple of books rooting for Ryan and Leah!

The last 3 books in this epic band series are contained in this box set and draws a great conclusion to the series. Sean, Ryan and Leah are the focus of these books: Sean, the drummer who craves the limelight until it's thrust upon him; Ryan, the 'good guy' guitarist and the band manager Leah, his former best friend who is desperately trying to decide whether or not she wants to stay in the friend zone.
These books are as well written and detailed as the first four. They give an intimate portrayal of the inner workings of this fictional band that you wish were real.
I read these books individually and didn't have the luxury of buying them in a box set; you don't have to wait to get your Reckless Beat fix. I can thoroughly recommend the whole series. I just wish there was more of it.

The “set” of RECKLESS BEAT” is a total of 3 separate books. This was SULTRY GROOVE 4. Other than the fact the main female character has the same name as I do, this was a boring book. Now on to RECKLESS RENDEZVOUS 4.5.
RECKLESS RENDEZVOUS 4.5 was worth every page (5 star). It’s filled with heartbreak, sex, finding out who your family is and realizing what you want. Read this is 2 hours or less.
Now on to UNDENIABLE TEMPTATION 5. This book was good enough for a 4 star. There was sex, of course, drama, breakups, makeups, new beginnings, and much more. At times I’d be living life with the band and laughing. The next, I’m with Leah, working, thinking, and full of emotions.
The last book in the series, RECKLESS ENCORE #5.5 is next.

I loved following the journey of the Reckless Beat boys; Mitch, Blake, Mason, Sean and Ryan to see them get their HEA.

Loved This Series!
This was truly a great series of books. By the end you kinda feel like part of the group/family. I loved the humorous parts of the guys’ characters. I LOL’d quite a bit while reading these books, along with quite a bit of swooning. Definitely a must read!
