Oblivion

Rate this book
Ethan still doesn't know what happened to his missing brother four months ago. No idea where he went, who took him, or where to find the answers. But then he discovers Fizz, a mutant who's acid spit can melt off a man's face, and he has a new lead.

Meanwhile, Carlo Martelli is in a rage. His cousin's murder can only be a threat to his rule in the local mafia. The immediate suspect is the traitorous Michael Bello who ratted him out to the police. As the mob war erupts, Fuse finds himself in the cross-hairs, which may have been a trap for him all along.

This third installment in the Fuse story by David Neth is an excellent capstone to the Fuse trilogy. The focus on taking down the mob along with finding his brother who has been missing for four months provides the driving force behind this story. Another “mutant” with powers is revealed and an unexpected twist to the story is revealed. The narration by Nicholas P Dunker is excellent as he brings each character to life. I received a review copy of the audiobook and chose to provide this review.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, and found it very entertaining. Ethan wonders what go his powers are if he can't save the people he loves as he tries to find his missing brother. He thinks he knows who took his brother, but he has no proof. In the meanwhile, Fuse is in the middle of a mob turf war. Will life ever be normal again? A great ending all the questions are answered in this suspenseful, action packed book. I'm going to miss the characters.
