I cannot decide how I want to rate Never Never: Part Two.

On the one hand, as with part one, I found this book to be written in an extremely compelling way. I found it easy to sprint through chapter after chapter, unlocking more questions and mysteries as I went along. Unlike with some of the authors' other work, nothing about the plot or the characters irritated me and I genuinely care and want to find out just what the hell is going on.

HOWEVER, I can see absolutely no reason Never Never has been serialized other than as a money-making ploy by the authors. It is not a series. It is clearly all part of the same story; the same book. The "parts" are just a collection of a few chapters and each one is not particularly long so I know it wasn't serialized for length reasons.

I guess it just bugs me that this "part" isn't anything close to resembling a full book that I can rate accurately. It's like taking a few chapters from a book and trying to decide what rating it deserves based on that small piece. Couldn't the authors have just waited and delivered a full book?

Colleen. Tarryn. You two are killing me with these endings!

I can't say I'm surprised, but I sure am relieved that I waited to read this one. I would have been all kinds of ragey if I was looking at months of waiting. So far, this series seems pretty impossible to review, especially since I have no fucking clue what is happening - I'm just as confused as Silas and Charlie. But, I like it. I love the suspense, the uncertainty, and I'm excited to see where book 3 will take me. I have so many questions!

After the huge cliffhanger at the end of the first book, Part Two has Silas searching for Charlie. She never made it home after they left the club. With the help of the clues they had written down, Silas does his best to find her.

If you thought that the first book was unbelievable, Part Two takes it to another level. The "amnesia" that these two seem to be experiencing keeps getting stranger and stranger. I won't spoil it for you, but I will say that the "amnesia" storyline was unrealistic enough in the first place. It didn't need to be made more so.

For most of this book, Charlie and Silas are separated. She has been imprisoned and must try and figure out exactly who is holding her captive and why. Meanwhile, Silas falls under scrutiny when Charlie does not turn up. He was the last person seen with her and the number one suspect in her disappearance.

Despite the fact that this story continues to get more and more far-fetched, I found myself listening the audiobook intently. I would have liked it if it were toned down a little more, but I can't deny that I enjoyed it.

As short as each of these audiobooks are, the story doesn't seem rushed at all. I wouldn't have minded a little more information on Charlie's escape and some sort of revenge against her captors. I thought that particular aspect of the story was a bit anti-climactic.

Overall, I'm still very interested in finding out what happened to Charlie and Silas. This story continues to hold my interest, even if this book seemed to get a little crazier. I didn't think it could get any more unbelievable after the first one, but I was wrong.

WHYYYYYYYY.

I want to give this the 5 stars it deserves BUT I CAN'T! I will always be mad at Colleen and Tarryn for dividing this story in three ridiculously short parts! This could've been an AWESOME standalone!!! It was too short, I started it at 12:30 am and finished at 2:00 am! It wasn't enough!!!

Ugh. I love this story. I NEED part three RIGHT NOW.

3 STARS! ★★★

"What I can tell you...the only thing I will tell you...is that you need to remember what it is that someone so desperately wanted you to forget.

Oh boy, here we go again. I'm just gonna sum up this read quick because it's pretty much the same gist as the first instalment.

This book in a nutshell:
- Charlie & Silas is still going through the same amnesia shenninigan; we still don't know why/how/what is happening.
- We're learning about CharSi (roll with me on the shipper name, will ya?) and their life before. In other words, backwards romance for these two. It's still kinda adorkable at times.
- We do get some answers which in turn, opened other multiple cans of worms. 1 answer = 3 more questions = another unsolved mystery.
- Me at the beginning, middle AND the end of the read: BATSHIT CONFUSED.
- Still a short-length novella and a nice cliffy to end it off.

My thoughts: For all the love that is your sanity, I'd advised you to only pick this series up when it's complete. For starters, I struggled to remember half of the names of other people that appeared in the earlier book. Personally I think the series has some serious amazing potential with this crazy plot but one would need to pay attention to the details. However due to the time-lag between releases, it just fizzles away for me.

Good news: Part 3 is indeed the final instalment, HUZZAH!
Bad news: There is no official release date for Part 3.

Overall, a quick-paced read that is still engaging enough for me to finish it in one sitting. CoHo and Tarryn are officially evil ladies for being such a gigantic tease with this series!

Never Never: Part Two is the second instalment in the Never Never series & must be read in order.

4 solid stars!

I'm not trying to be smug or anything but somehow I had a feeling the book was going to start that way and was going to end that particular way too. Please don't pelt me with tomatoes especially because I have to use this gif. Lol!

But other than that, every other thing in the story is either a surprise or a mystery and I was gripped from the beginning till the end that I read the entire story for less than two hours.

The characters have become more mature and likable and I really loved reading the letters and the shifting POVs of the MCs. Silas' cheesiness could use a little tone down though.

"You make normal love hard. You make me psycho-love you."

""If it were possible to hear a smile, hers would be a love song."

I'm subtracting one star because I clearly see that these wicked authors are manipulating me and are keeping me hanging by giving me only partial installments of this mystifying story. Ha!

And yet, here I am, still their most willing victim! Argh!

At least, I now have a better understanding of the meaning of "Never, Never"

Throw me more tomatoes, because as opposed to everyone who has read this, I love that cliffhanger! <3 <3 <3

Y'all are cray-cray. Why the fuck would we read Part 2 of an unfinished series, knowing damn well there's a Part 3 coming? Why didn't we learn from reading the first book that ended with a cliffhanger?

I'm a little angry once I'm done with this book. Mostly confused, but partially angry. This series is one giant puzzle I'm dying to solve and I'm nowhere near of figuring out the answers. I can hear myself asking "But why?" every five minutes. It's like a broken record playing in my head.

This book picks up from the cliffhanger in the previous book where Silas was leaving himself notes before he loses his memory again. Charlie was nowhere to be found and Silas was left to figure out everything by himself. At least he has the notes in plain sight this time. And so begins "The Adventure of Silas Nash and the Many Notes", an epic story of a boy stealing, hiding, reading, sorting, throwing and collecting notes that contains clues of his life and a girl named Charlie. (PSssSSttTT....that's probably why there's only one frickin' hand on the cover! Because it's mostly Silas doing all the investigative work!)

In the first book we learned about Silas and Charlie and their lives before they started to lose memory. In this book, one small clue was given, and that's the WHO IS INVOLVED in the whole "What the fuck is happening to Silas and Charlie?" situation. Other than that, nada. Zilch.

I like this book. It's simple and easy to follow. But you can only handle so much teasing before you explode and go crazy.

FOR YOUR SANITY DO NOT READ THIS BOOK.
NO. GO AWAY.
GO PICK UP YOUR RABBIT AND PET IT.
BAD READER! I TOLD YOU NOT TO READ THIS BOOK.
REFRAIN YOURSELF. READ IT WHEN IT'S DONE.

No? FINE. But don't go blaming Colleen and Tarryn when you're frustrated once you've reached the end of this book. I told you not to read it. At least, not until the series is complete.

This installment total cleared up all of my questions!!

description

Absolutely nothing is cleared up in this second installment and and I’m left with even more questions than I had after finishing book one of this series. Sadly, the couple wasn’t even together in this book but we are once again gifted with their dual POVS as they both try to figure out what is happening to them.

The mystery is intriguing and the background on both characters has been built upon so bring on January 19th and blow me away with all the connections and answers!

3,5 Confusing Stars.

This is the second installment of the “Never Never” series and while Charlie is missing somewhere and having strange dreams about her and Silas past, Silas is trying to find out what the heck is wrong with them. Why they keep losing their memories and what did happen between them and with their families in the past that could have originated all of this? Unfortunately, every time he believes he’s going to get an answer, even more questions appear.

description

When what was supposed to be a stand-alone suddenly turned into a series I accepted. I mean, I like both authors and the first installment was “mindf*cking” enough to keep me interested. But when the second installment… that has ONLY around 100 pages and took almost half a year to be released, didn’t bring pretty much any answers and just added more of the same… it was a little disappointing. Yes, we had more answers about what really happened between them in the past, but still, almost nothing about the present. The letters were a great detail (and the reason why I’m rating it 3,5) and allowed us to see more of them as couple, but there was too much going around and absolutely no explanation (or clues) to why everything was happening. It was just a big mess of random confusing events. I was expecting more… I needed more!
Will I read the next book? Obviously.
I’m invested enough to want to know how this mess ends… but the last installment better be really the last or else I may change my opinion.

MIND-BLOWN!

Whoa! That was one helluvah crazy ride!

This novella was a lot better than the first because I finally found some answers that I was craving since the first installment, though I admit I'm still not satisfied. Even though CoHo and Tarryn revealed some of the unknown, still-- I can feel that there are a lot more to unravel. THEY WERE SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH! All throughout the book, I was too compelled because it simply sucked me right in. It totally picked my interest from page 1 up to the last.

description

My favorite of this novella is of course, Silas's POV. I love him. I love every moment I'm in his head like seriously, the humor and the sexiness combined into one. *swoons

When it comes to the plot, well, it was so damn amazing. Very well executed by these two amazing authors! In this novella, you can expect really f*cked up situations. Everything that happened between Charlie and Silas was a mess! But it was perfectly built with loads of adrenaline-pulling scenes. And when I finally got into that ending, I was like...

"¿Cómo es posible extrañar a alguien que no puedes recordar?".
3.5🌟

Aaaaahhhhh otro final abierto.

I can't help feel a little disappointed by the follow-up to the first novella. It lacked the thrill and suspense the first one had, no, not lacked. It was there, just more subtly.. We didn't get any answers to questions, and I sure as hell expected to at least get some clue or maybe make a guess at what's possibly going on. I mean, losing memories every 48 hours at the same time, it's creepy and inexplicably unless it's paranormal stuff, but there's no other indication whatsoever that this has anything to do with the supernatural.. I'm just frustrated, I would have just preferred it if this was a full novella, and not novellas being published every once in a while.

I'm a big fan of Hoover's and that one book of Fisher's I've read, I loved. I'm definitely going to be waiting anxiously for the last part to come out and hopefully we'll be rewarded with a plausible explanation that'll put an end to the mindf**k.

Never stop, Never forget. Never Never.

I feel like I'm in Never Never Land. I still haven't figured anything out. I'm super confused, but I guess that's part of the appeal. The mystery.

Silas is back with some help from himself this time. Charlie is still missing and Silas is doing everything he can to find her with the little knowledge he has. He seems to be uncovering some things in their past. He has found some journals. He has his brother to help him. COME ON SILAS! Figure this shit out. We know a little more than we did in part one, but not much.

This is turning out to be a sweet love story between Silas and Charlie. The journal entries show just how much they thought of each other and how in love they really were.

Finished this in a matter of hours.

Oh and massive cliffhanger...

I am speechless. I can't even...
HOLY MOTHER OF CLIFFHANGERS.
GIVE ME THE PART 3!!

Expect for a cliffhanger, but this is a better cliffhanger than the previous one. This is making me crazy. I'm really impressed of how this turned out. There are some hints and pieces in this crazy puzzle, but it's not enough to answer all my questions. At least, I have a little idea of what's happening between Silas and Charlie.

There's more of Silas' perspective than Charlie's, and I think I need more of Charlie's side. A part of me doesn't trust ANY of the side characters because I feel there's something weird is going to happen. I don't know why I get that feeling. I only trust Silas and Charlie to fix whatever suspenseful, rivalry between their fathers and their own issues.

I can't wait for the third one. I'm ready on whatever surprise Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher will write and this is whole idea is crazy genius. I just love these two authors!

So, another long wait and To be continued... ;) HAHAHAHAHA!!

There are things in this world that I will never understand, and that includes: why is this even a serial? Yeah, I just can't. I thought part one was okay, but this one was just all over the place and completely pointless. Everything was incredibly predictable, by the way.

EDIT #2

It's official. Colleen and Tarryn are trying to kill us. And I must say that in my case it's freaking working!!!! I really hope Part 3's release is close because you can't finish two novels like this and expect me to keep functioning like a normal person.

I loved all the letters and how Silas got to know himself and Charlie through them. I love how they love each other even with the memory loss. I love how they seem to always find each other against all odds.

EDIT #1

First: I need it! NOW

Second: IS THAT BLOOD? IS THAT THE FINAL COVER? I don't like this. At all.

Type: Book 2 of 3 from Never Never novella series
POV: First Person - Dual
Rating:

The last book ended with the disappearance of Charlie and this book predominantly of Silas looking for her while. The rest well… pretty much the same.

For the first 50% I felt like I was reading book 1 all over again. Both of them still can’t remember. Both of them still confused. Both of them still trying to re-learn the same thing.

I’d rather love you at the bottom than despise you at the top.

Thank god we got to learn some new information after the halfway mark. We learned a bit more of why Charlie the way she was and about their love from where it started. A few other characters also played a bigger part in this book.

I think the biggest problem with this series is that it was forced to be novellas instead of a full book due to one of the author’s contractual stipulation. There definitely is potential here, but I think it would work so much better as a full novel where we’ll get answer in one go. Maybe it could be something that blow your mind. But the thing is, because it was broken up, each book felt incomplete and stretched out.

For those who are interested in reading this series, my advice is definitely wait for the final book to come out before embarking on this mysterious amnesiac tale.

How would you feel when you wake up in your car and have no idea who you are, where you are and how you got here in the first place? Well, I don't know but judging by this book it feels....... terrifying.
I really liked this book, because it shows readers what its like to experience things that not many do. Through the eyes of our two adorable characters I now have an idea of how it must feel to lose all memory of who you are. It was as if they were seeing the world from completely new eyes for the first time.

'I can't be dreaming. Everything is too vivid, too detailed to be a dream.'

The book is a big mystery and it didn't give me a lot of clues as to what might be the real reason for their memory loss, so I was completely in the dark. I despised that, but then that kept me reading till I reached the last page of the book.
Silas was the character that made me love this book. He is the cutest, most romantic boy character I've ever read, When he loves, he loves with his whole heart. I adore him. He's my dream boyfriend. Charlie could be considered the opposite of Silas, however she has her reasons. I liked her too, even though maybe not as much I liked Silas
description

Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher made a great job with this book. I could tell how the characters are so different as one writes from Silas' POV and the other writes from Charlie's POV. Both authors with their own unique writing. It was lovely, I enjoyed it very much.
