Arcadia couldn’t be sure that she wasn’t hallucinating. On the surface, being invited to live with seven stupidly hot guys did sound a little preposterous. That those seven hot guys were actually the embodiment of the seven deadly sins and she was meant to be their mythical “Redeemer”, well, that’s when things get a bit freaky.
But not as freaky as the devil at her door...
This is a 25k word reverse harem serial for adults. There will be four instalments in total released.
When I was nine, my grandmother and her friends used to read and swap Harlequin Mills and Boons novels. When I was busted reading one, they started sneaking me boxes full of strong heroines and rugged men. Thus started a long love affair with the romance genre. Then I discovered urban fantasy, and fell in love with broody Alphas and sexy paranormals, and combining them together was a no brainer. Then I discovered Reverse Harem.... Oh my. Why choose, am I right?
My, my ,my... What a hellvua cliffhanger! Grace, I love your creative thought process you've put into this storyline.. OMG woman, you're damn good at it! I'm not even mad about this cliffhanger, because I'm getting ready to jump into book 3 and it's 2:45 AM but I just gotta continue reading this series...
Ohhhhhhh weeeeee... I'm so happy right now that I don't have to wait for it be released... ;-)
Please be warned. This series is good. Too good in fact. I need to get things done and I can’t put these down. It will suck you in, mess you up and spit you out all in the best of ways. If emotional roller coaster is the goal, this has it in spades. I hate that I love it so much I don’t want to adult at least until after I finish.
The story picks up right where it was left off. Luc aka Lucifer Morningstar tells Arcadia the truth about her connection with the seven deadly sins and with Ace, the voice she's been talking to in her head. Arcadia gets to work to redeem her guys' sins until the angel Azrael drops a bombshell on her that will require Arcadia to take a tough decision. The story ends with a cliffhanger. Book 1 left me disappointed, but I think this book redeemed my expectations.
Jaw dropping!!! Literally, I ended the book with my mouth hanging open. What. An. Ending!
General Gist: This book is a continuation of the first book, only Cady's illness becomes a larger issue...annnnnd we find out why she's so sick this time around. The gang continues their journey for redemption and we slowly find out more about their past as well. Lots of steamy hot moments, as well as swoony lovey-dovey moments to be had here. The non-5-star rating is due to the typos again, it always slips me up and pulls me from the fantasy when I have to figure out what word is actually supposed to be used.
--Rating - 4.5 stars - the perfect continuation of book 1. Kind of really wish these books were all one book though. It's annoying to have to download a new book every hour and a half. --Steam - 4 stars - builds are great, intimate scenes are well written, but the actual act is still described in very short detail. As if years of "practice" hasn't given the guys more stamina. It's kind of weird. --Storyline - 5 stars - still super unique --Plot Twists - 4 stars - holy cow! the ending cliffhanger is a major plot twist! --Emotional Pull - 2 stars - not much of a rollercoaster here --Writing - 4 stars - still very comfortable to read, but the typos get to me --Denouement - N/A --Cliffhanger? - YES! WHOA! --HEA? - uhmmmm no comment
Talk about a heck of a cliffhanger😩 Didn’t see those twists coming. This book has surprising made me both laugh and cry. I love how Grace can get you to be so invested in the characters in such a short amount of time.
Tolliver and Sam are the logical choice for first redeemers. Cady’s plan is to have Sam give away Tolliver’s money - two birds with one stone type of thing. The first gift goes perfectly, then they go viral on social media. Soon they are being called the “Robin Hood Ninjas” by the media and are a trending hashtag. The recognition is actually a good thing for it triggers changes in both men.
Things are going great then the doctors tell Cady she’s sick again. The men want to be redeemed but not at the expense of Cady’s health. So they decide to take matters into their own hands and begin making life changes.
What I find interesting is we are in book 2 and Cady has only slept with 4 sins. I mean she has had a mind blowing petting session with Valery & Oz and shared kisses with Eli. Yet surprisingly all she’s done with Orion is snuggle and dance. Guess lust has a lot of restraint.
After learning about the guys' pasts and starting down the road as her role as Redeemer Cady is learning some news about herself. Not anything she didn't really see coming but it's still heartbreaking. Not just to her, because she's coming to love her guys. It's also heartbreaking to them. After a decade back topside and learning how to control the sins they've been saddled with, falling for Cady is going to make it hard to let her go. But when she finds out about Ace? The blows just keep coming.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, wonderful author, for this glimpse into this world you've created. I always love a new concept on old ideas and you have certainly provided one in this series. And you've given us not just 1 underdog to root for but 10: Cady, the guys, Ace and Luc. Call me crazy but I like the devil and am hoping for a happy ending for him and Ace. Although, he could possibly quit shouting in Cady's head and traumatizing her with raunchy stories about him and Ace lol.
The MCs went from instalust to instalove. It feels like the author wanted to write about characters in a mature relationship, without maturing the relationship - not knocking that, except she did it with characters that legit ran into each other in the subway and felt drawn to each other. Couldn't keep suspending disbelief when the female MC kept referring to one of her men habits - you don't even know his habits, you've known him for a week!! I stayed with it hoping the approach to solve the male MCs issues would be interesting or novel or magical but it lacked meaningfulness. Like, you have a bunch of possessions, give them away because I tell you to isn't meaningful, doesn't show significant character change.
It had its cute moments, but in the end as Prue Leith says, "It's not worth the calories."
I devoured this story in an hour. I loved The Redeemable and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on part two. The stories are short but move so fast. Cady found out her sickness it back. Lucifer paid her a visit. She was roofied. What more could she go through?? I need the next installment now! They seven sins are amazing and so protective of her. I can’t wait to see how she saves them. Only drawback was that cliffhanger. Really??!!
The second book is just as good as the first! The plot just pulls you threw that wondrous and painful times always reading to find out what happens next. Acadia is a strong willed character who fights for the 7 men she love, to her own detriment of her health. I'm eagerly waiting to see what happens next in the third book!!! Thank you Grace McGinty for this wonderful series!
Getting to know more about the guys and what got them condemned to hell was a nice yet horrifying experience. Meeting Luc was unexpected and jarring. And the major cliffhanger on this one was a doozy. The only reason this one is a 4 stars for me is because the grammatical errors distracted me throughout the book. It won’t keep me from reading part 3 though.
Ok to be honest I had a feeling this was going to comes up but it was Still a surprise! No I will not be spoiling it but omggggg! Ok anyway, poor cady has so many things to not only think about but to try and do in her short life. I really don't have much to say other then I can't wait to see what happens next!
this was a great continuation of the first book. i REALLY loved how she helped redeem a few of the guys; some of those stories really tug at your heartstrings. & in such a good way. i was smiling, laughing, & not quite crying - but the urge was there. there maybe wasn't quite as many spicy scenes as i was hoping for, but there was enough to keep that vibe going too.
The MC in this story is amazing!! I laughed, and cried while reading and you can’t ask for more than that in a book! Definitely looking forward to the next installment!!!!!!!
Well that cliffhanger was the worst. I need more, like I'd give up air for a while just to read part 3 (too much I know) this serial just keeps getting better and better. New favourite read.
What a freaking twist! I'm loving this series, it's fantastic and the twists are awesome. I am glad however, that the series has been written before I started reading it, with the cliffhangers, they would've killed me.
It ends on a flipping cliffhanger, but that’s okay bc book 3 is out now, and ain’t can find out what happens next. Yummy men and an amazing story. Love it!
I don't know what to say. This book was amazing, I read all 4 in one night, I couldn't put it down. I laughed.. A LOT., and cried and was angry... ugh it put me through the ringer but I was in love with every character... I even loved the devil himself!! I would give this 6 stars if I could!
I'm kind of obsessed with this series. Minus the part with the chocolate sauce going where the sun don't shine (hello, lady parts issues 👀) that completely took me out of the moment, this series is so good. I love Cady and her Sins.
Lots of selflessness in this part. Sexy times are very yummy 😋 I think it's kinda ridiculous that she is in her condition at the end when supposedly it can never happen 😑
Oh no! That cliffhanger ahhh I am loving the pace and the storytelling of these books, Arcadia is awesome and the guys are dreamy mix that in with an exciting premise and wow!
This part needs a good edit. Too many missed words and basic errors, and it was distracting. Thankfully the story was good enough to drag me along despite the editing issues.
