Pine Martens Vol 8

Rate this book
In his entertainingly light-hearted style Johnny describes in detail what is now known about pine marten ecology and behaviour in Britain and Ireland, and offers some continental insights from further east in the pine marten's range. He explores the different forces driving the pine marten's decline and recent and considers the conflicts that now test the tolerance of those who live with pine martens once more.

A whimsical yet scientific read about martens in the U.K. I loved Johnny's descriptions of encounters between people and martens and there's more information on scat in this book than you'd ever want to know!

Very informative with a touch of humor. Just what I needed to learn more about the pine marten that comes into my garden sometimes.
