Romans Through Time #1

Ridden Through Time

Rate this book
Cai Antony wants nothing more than to finish his tour with the First Cavalry Regiment and return home to rebuild his family's horse breeding business. The bitter attacks from the Gauls were making that difficult, if not impossible. When he rushes to the aid of his commander, a flash of bright light takes him...elsewhere.

Adrian, a member of a Roman Reenactment group, finds Cai in the middle of his field, sexy and disoriented. He calls his friends, Max and Fabius, who confirm that Cai is a man out of time. The attraction between Adrian and Cai is unmistakable. And Adrian wonders, did Cai ride through time just for him?

I enjoyed this sexy Roman time travel romance, but I wanted more background on the characters. The story starts in the middle of a battle for the Roman Cai, and the middle of a ride for Adrian. The reader isn't given backstory for either man or their friends. It's a hot, sexy story, but there is not much situation or character development.

Roman Time Travelers!
An interesting premise but not enough history on the characters or what year Cai Anthony actually arrived in. The reader is given some information on Cai’s reactions to the modern world but not enough. A very short read.
