Incredibly captivating history subjects for a book but equally incredibly disappointing content and ESPECIALLY narration. The book is introduced in a spectacular way just to find out later that it is the summary of the summary of that paragraph you read in that magazine a long time ago. Not to mention the narrator who is exactly like the voice from Google Translate reciting to you. The pronunciation is beeeeeeyond agonazing like the whole production if I'm being completely honest. I had high hopes for this one and even more that it was an Amazon Original.
Lots of references at the end of each section but the book reads like a Discovery Channel show. Lots of loosely related material but not deep enough to be interesting
Kindle Unlimited, 3 in one, also overall what I consider part of the 'ancient' books/collections {listed below, all the books with these and the ones directly related first, the ones single/collection Mythology: A Captivating Guide to Greek Mythology, Egyptian Mythology, Norse Mythology, Celtic Mythology and Roman Mythology }.

This trilogy of books provides you with a concise summary of the history of the maya, Aztec, and Inca empires. It is a quick but very informative read that I would recommend to anyone interested in history.
A good read for anyone looking to educate themselves on Mayan, Aztec, or Incan history. It reads a bit like a history textbook, but a very interesting textbook that is careful to be easy and quick to read.
A very good gentle introduction to Maya, Aztec and Inca civilisation. The narrative is very dry and to the point, almost like we are reading summary. However, very useful information presented in the book, just enough to crave for more.
An approachable work that explains the details of life, religion, war, and inter-relationships between ancient cultures many of us have heard of in abrahamic religious texts. It’s like a backstory for the Old Testament and Torah, rooted in historical and archeological research.
