When I set down and decided to take the leap to make my life time dream come true and write a book I was terrified, but in a good way. Publishing a book is the most thrilling thing I have ever done. That's with having 14 grand-kids. LOL!

Not only is Stephanie trying to deal with the nightmare of shooting a deranged kidnapper that threatened her Friend Sara's life, now she's going to have to deal with Chase, her childhood sweetheart who walked out on her with no explanation. Chase is back and he want's Stephanie back in his life as well but before that can happen Stephanie has to learn some deep hidden truths about her father's undercover life. This a country romance that involves a small circle of friends and some hidden secrets. I really liked it, the characters are very sweet and likable and the story line is really interesting. This is a great read on a rainy day.

Stephanie has been having nightmares since shooting Sara’s deranged kidnapper, even though she tells her friends she is fine! Sara and Dillon are getting married, and Stephanie is a bridesmaid. On the hen/stag night out the one person she thought she would never see again turns up, the one and only love of her life - Chase, she has loved him forever, and he just came home one night 5 years ago and told her it was over and then he walked out!

Chase has a very good reasons for leaving her, but Stephanie does not want to hear his excuses, that is, until the night before the wedding when she overhears Chase talking to her father, telling him he has to tell her the truth! Stephanie demands to know what they are talking about but her father says he will tell her after the wedding!

After the wedding her father tells her the whole story, the real reason her mother left and why Chase walked away from her! Can she ever forgive Chase and her father, who else knew about the betrayal, can Stephanie finally find the life and happiness she has always craved.

REVIEW: LOVE IT!!! I absolutely love this sweet novella. There is humor, there is intense drama, there is pain, there is love, there is pure bliss and rescued animals… on top of it all it ends with an HEA. I mean what more can you ask for (well that isn’t between the sheets).

This is a perfect lunchtime read that will have you sucked in from the beginning (and what a flipping intense beginning it has) and have you swooning by the end! I JUST LOVE IT!!!

Stephanie thinks her life is starting to recover from the terror of the abduction and shooting she was involved in. Her cousin is getting married and the nightmares are receding. But when her ex shows up for the wedding of his best friend, wounds are reopened and Stephanie has to face her past. But can the relationship with Chase start again? Or will the truth from her lfather make her runaway from everyone? With great characters and a storyline that keeps the reader on the edge of their seats, this book should not be missed.

Stephanie was heartbroken two years ago when Chase just left her , they had plans and just left which broke her. Now Chase is back and his leaving has a lot of secrets involved and it has something to do with her dad. Good story I have to get the next one.
