Buku ini bisa jadi panduan buat yang tertarik mempelajari proses suatu kebijakan terutama kebijakan publik, ada banyak lesson learned yang bisa diadaptasi, muatan buku ini juga tidak hanya membahas tentang sejarah kebijakan, tapi proses suatu kebijakan terbentuk dibahas secara sederhana dan bisa dipahami oleh awam, buku ini juga mambahas tentang pengambilan keputusan yang melibatkan jejaring, organisasi. Kombinasi analisis argumentatif, naratif dan retoriknya menambah kajian dinamis tentang kebijakan publik. Metode dalam mengkaji kebijakan publik disajikan dalam kualitatif dan kuantitatif baik dengan cara survey dan context sensitive method.
