This is #microfiction. Stories told in a handful of sentences, a bare few paragraphs. Inside are worlds, lives, tragedies, and triumphs. Each condensed to its barest essence, able to be read in minutes. But their power is not deflated. These stories will shock, amuse, delight, horrify, inspire. They will stay with you. Crafted by dozens of today's sharpest writers, this is 200 CCs of distilled literature, ready to be mainlined.
Paul Hamilton is a writer and technology worker living in Northern California with his wife and two children. His stories feature broken people, reassembled worlds, beautiful monsters, and hideous love. He gets his inspiration by impersonating an old-timey bartender, listening to stories told by lonely strangers. When not writing, he can be found reading, drawing, taking photographs, or riding roller coasters. More from him can be found at http://ironsoap.com/, and on Twitter as @ironsoap.
This is a Goodreads win review. This is a book of different stories from a wide array of writers. It is about life and the tragedies and triumphs we go through. My favorite story is the last one called The Small World. We moved across the country to be with family and my hubby was asked to pick someone up to get his big rig that was being worked on. My hubby noticed he had a phone number like the area where we had just moved from and it turned out they knew each other. At the end of this book is notes about every author.
