5 books18 followersWhen I was 12 years old, I saw the movie Star Wars. It's impossible to fully describe the excitement it created within me. It was the catalyst that birthed a desire to write my own grand adventures.
A lifetime later, I was tasked to come up with, and to write, a story for a local stage production. That's when I knew that my passion for writing, though it had lain dormant for decades, was still there. I had stories to tell. Stories that I hoped would change lives.
In 2006 I began writing a novel called Otherealm. It later became two separate books, Deliver Us from Darkness and When Darkness Comes, the first two novels of the Otherealm Saga. By 2011 both novels were complete. In 2012 a third novel was written for the saga, Behind the Darkness.
As of 2017, all three completed novels have been published by BHC Press, Livonia, MI. At last, the fourth and final book of the Otherealm Saga, That Dark Place, is available and completes that series. I think you're going to really enjoy it.

W. Franklin Lattimore is a graduate of Kent State University, with a B.A. in Political Science. He's active in his "Rockin" church and in his free time enjoys hiking, biking, ziplining, fishing, riding roller coasters, target shooting, and eating crispy BBQ wings. He makes his home in Central Ohio.

W. Franklin Lattimore doesn't dissapoint with his second novel in the Otherealm Saga. 24 years after Brent and his closest friends have had an earth-shattering encounter with Tara, a devout believer in her black magic witchcraft, lives have been altered. Some for the better - some not. As members of Brent's church start to feel the presence of something evil happening, they become on high alert. Who can be trusted? The resurrection of a dead religion is being planned in detail, to take place in a nearby town, and as clan members from around the world gather together, there is a chance encounter. A tattoo that is familiar, a common background that will open up the evil that lurks beyond. Will Brent's life as he knows it be taken away from him? Is his faith, and that of those around him, strong enough to withstand the powers of darkness that has no mercy? Do you know where you will stand in your battle?

Even better than book one! I loved the suspense!
While I enjoyed the characters as teenagers in book one, as adults I could relate to them better in this story.
This story was an emotional roller coaster ride, a ride I didn't want to end.

Another great book from W. Franklin Lattimore! I spent so much of the book rooting for different characters as they struggled against and within their own situations. The characters are so real, you just want everything to turn out right for all of them! I admit, I had a hard time with some of the more historically-oriented writing, but I was desperate to get an understanding of the background of the story. Man, was it worth it!
