Each volume deals with a different subject, such as astronomy, holidays, machines, clothing, transportation, and other scientific subjects. Uses questions and answer format.
While this book is not the oldest one I own, this is definitely one of the more relevant-to-me older books. The first of a series of books featuring Charlie Brown & co. teaching you about various things (the human body in this case). I am amazed that I still have this book and that it is in such good condition, given that it is the same age as me. I can actually remember possibly destroying other books in this series, but this book ha only suffered minor shelf-ware on the outside while the pages are completely clean (I'm positive some liquid may have hit this). Has far as the information inside the book is very well done and it will teach your toddler/adolescent about the human body.
If I have learned one thing from this book after 20 years, it is that hardcover is no joke when it comes to book quality.
These were great; they certainly encouraged both my love of reading and my curiosity during my mental development. I recommend them if you can find them for your kids.
I had this entire set of books when I was a kid, and I have no idea what ever happened to them. I received this one as a gift yesterday, and reading through it brought back so many fond memories of sitting in my room reading the whole set over and over. The cover is different from the one I had, but the content is the same and while I didn't learn anything new as an adult, this was well worth reading again for the nostalgia.
It's great how they made it learning with comedy my favorite part was when they talked about the human Bone's I definitely would recommend to read it again
The first volume of Charlie Brown's 'Cyclopedias. It was all about the body and very informative. I like the layout of all of these. It's a question (usually why does something do something) then the answer.
