Dragon Temptation

Recommended for adult readers.
Elin wants to advance her military career, but is having trouble due to her past. Elin gets transferred to a never heard of post as a commander, but she knows it's another effort for the military to get rid of her.
Kallore is a fire dragon. Kallore has been asleep for MANY years, she actually turned himself to stone. A fellow Dragon woke him because humanity is in trouble. All Kallore wants as payment for fighting the Outsiders, and saving humans, is treasure, and a mate...HIS mate.
This has paranormal with the Dragon shifters, but it's also sci-fi with the Outsiders, and a military romance. The author has a great balance of all three. Kallore is a big, and Dragon shifter, but is so unsure of himself and that gives his character such a human quality, I really liked that. This is a great start of the series.

Dragon Vs. Unknown
Man, I'm going to love this series if this first book is any indication of what's to come. Dragons were things of Myths & Legends, but when earth is threatened by an unknown force that has emerged an ancient shifter that even to dragons was a legend discovers a way to awaken the stone form of a Mythological Ancient Dragon. This unknown was called "Outsiders" and their smaller soldiers "Walkers", their strength, absorbing humanity.. The Military is in a quandary and they heed the call of Kyan and Liandra to see if their awakened dragon can help defeat this threat before it's too late.

I am such a sucker for shifter books! I’m straight up hypnotized by them and I don’t want to be! I don’t know why I love them so much, maybe its the fact that they mate for life. There is security in knowing its out of your control. Maybe its the alpha-types that draw me in, I do love me a great alpha. I don’t know what it is, all I know is I can’t seem to get in to anything else right now.
This one stood out in that Kallore, our resident dragon shifter, really tries to get to know his mate before trying to screw her. A lot of these alpha shifter books go quickly with the sexy times and I get super tired of it. This one had a great emotional draw as well. Kallore was considerate in that he didn’t want to scare her by demanding she get with him right away, instead actually learning about her culture and wooing her in her own way. It was really quite sweet and indicative of him as a mate.
And this book had a great sub-plot as well. It was involved and well thought out. I can’t stand when a shifter book just runs with the romance and ‘forgets’ the sub-plot till the end. This one was relevant throughout this book. I would read more from this author in this world for sure. Which is good since I can’t get enough of these books apparently. LOL

It was a beautiful thing, a powerful thing." Except pigeons' lives because them daring to fly and make noise is so irritating they should all be killed.

This is , Kallore and Elin's story . Elin is a Major who due to saying no has already lived on heck of a hard life . Kallore is a dragon who had decided to sleep his pain away . When these two are brought together man just feel the heat from that dragon !! I love the way that Elin is such a strong woman who is doing all she can to make sure that no line is crossed . Kal has so much to catch up on with the world to be able to understand what is going on . He was awaken for a reason and now he has to decide if he will do as others want him to . The relationship between these two is out of this world ! At one point I myself wanted to smack Kallore for not speaking over his past . Now when Elin wanted to test to see if he is strong enough after such a long slumber he was able to do all she asked without any trouble what so ever ! But one thing that got me snickering and I will quote
(because hey it is that good !! ) ...and this is after Kallore had shifted ... " It's , um , a lot bigger than I expected " And the two way glass that set these two off in laughter ! LMBO dang did Amelia Jade do such a good job here !! This is well written and strongly recommended ! I was gifted this ARC and just had to leave a review !

This will be a great series by this author but not quite what I like to read. These Scary Aliens called Outsiders are horrible.
A wonderful strong and capable woman as the heroine which is great. Kallore is a dragon who has been asleep for hundreds of years due to a horrible incident with his sister in his past when he was young. Not his fault what happened and I hope that Prill will maybe make her way into this series.
Elin is a career army woman who has been dealt a bad hand due to a higher-ranking officer who abused his position.
Kallore is a dragon who has been woken from a long sleep so he can be used as a weapon by the humans in a war against alien invaders to earth.
Loved Elin but found Kallore not alpha enough for my taste. The interaction between the two main characters was enjoyable though.
Great idea and intriguing theme with a very interesting new direction from this author but not one that was my cup of tea. Not a fan of alien invasion themes but I will have to read on to see them defeated, I hope.
I did like what happened with Brigadier General Moore but thought it needed a better outcome. There was no acknowledgment of his wrongdoings in the past.
This is my honest review of this book.

A very interesting story. I can not imagine what it was like for Major Elin or anyone else in the military to find out that dragons are real. But after faced with the “Outsider” I guess they could believe anything.
When reading about Kallore, I started wondering why he had to go in that deep sleep. You could see off the bat that his dragon was caring some serious pain. When it was finally revealed my heart broke for him. He was faced and treated like no one should of been treated. This caused him so much pain and guilt.
Elin cared guilt and pain as well. She had this wall built up and when I found out why I was angry on her behalf. Elin was this amazing strong woman who was trying her best to stay afloat in a man’s world. She had some huge obstacles to face. As you read though I could see there were some in the military that resected her as well.
I love how Kallore desired to protect Elin. He would die for her because she was his mate. I loved how he tried tip toeing around letting her know how important she was to him.
One think I love about his story is it shows love is a powerful thing. The love that Kallore has for Elin will help him time and time again.

2 in 1 Bonanza
I was lucky enough to purchase the first book in the Crimson Dragon series, Dragon Temptation, by Amelia Jade that also included a second book - Furnace. What a terrific combo. Although these books represent totally different paranormal worlds ( or do they?) they both have strong, interesting and smart heroes. Both the men and women are characters you'll find worth rooting to win. Kallore, a dragon awoken from a centuries long sleep finds the military officer, Elin, chosen to "train" him, irresistible. It's fascinating to follow Kallore as he slowly reveals his powers and Elin realizes he is truly the hero human kind, and she, need to save them from the horror they face. In Furnace, Lex is a werewolf living his quiet, simple life in his small valley until a series of supernatural storms turn things upside down. The power company sends a high powered exec to insure repairs to their smashed system. That's when Lex, the experienced, intelligent lineman must work to help Petal realize her true potential and save his valley. Both books are fast paced and exciting. Looking forward to more of these worlds.

What a great start to a new series! Elin has been through some rough things in her military career and it seem like it's coming to an end when she is sent to the desert. That is until she realizes what is going on at her new base. A great threat is upon the world and they have to find a way to stop it. Their way they think is through Kallore, a dragon.
Kallore has just been awoken by the humans for what he doesn't know. He's been sleeping for centuries and need to be brought up to speed on everything, especially the threat to all life.
The relationship between them gets off to a rocky start but gets better when Elin finally drops her guard. Her past demons don't help.
I can't wait for the next book because we are kind of let at a pivotal moment. The waking of more dragons. Which they are going to need.
This wasn't your typical love story. We have an intense backstory of the threat to them all and if they will be able to conquer the enemy. I loved it!!

Major Elin Mara and Kallore has storyline was worth reading about, now as an avid reader, I never judge a book by its cover or in this case its title. Because we know there will be some type of temptation. So with this mind I try very hard to not to give to much to my review, the story.
I really enjoy reading Ms.Jade's Dragon Temptation; Elin Mara has is in the military and been and through some difficult trials but passed them with her head held high and bomb become a commander, and part of her job is to as train Kallore but little does they both know that there intense chemistry shall lead them.
Amelia Jade does a tremendous job of engaging the reader with her attention to detail, and giving me a captivating, unique dragon storyline, that connects well defined all characters, pulling the drawing me right into the story.
I would recommended this story any of her stories to escape,because she have you feeling as if your one of the characters.

I was offered this book as an ARC for an honest review but ended up borrowing it on KU. I LOVED IT! Elin was a Colonel in the military and Kallore was a dragon that they had woke up to help fight the Outsiders (hideous creatures that suck the life force from people and that helped them grow). Kallore knew immediately that Elin was his mate but knew he had to wait to tell her. He didn't think he was worthy of her (the why was revealled late in the book). He went through all the training easily and then had to learn the current customs of people. Elin had had a hard time in her career due to a lecherous general who then made up rumors that she had slept with him and then left him when she didn't get her way.
I loved the way Kallore took care of this general and his colonel. It was epic. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to the rest of the series.

Amelia Jade has started us on another great adventure with Dragon Temptation, first book in the Crimson Dragons series. Like her other series, this one contains strong alpha shifters and their equally powerful mates who struggle through their brokenness and pain to emerge stronger because of their love and fated states. Kal and Elin are a formidable couple who are the first in what I’m sure will be a long line of fated mates who are called to battle a threat to humanity. The passion level is high and the steam this couple creates is palpable. That makes this story all the more delicious. I can’t wait to read more. Throw in the delightful bonus scene, and you're in for hours of reading pleasure.

Overall, this was a good book. Kallore and Elin were both awesome characters, and I loved them as a couple. It was a lot of fun following their story, and seeing how they dealt with everything. It was a good start to a new series, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else the author has in store for it. However I did have one issue, which was that I didn't like the backstory about Prill. It put a sad taint on the book that really bothered me a lot. I'm hoping that maybe things aren't what they seem, and she'll pop up later with an HEA of her own. I took a star off because of that story. I was gifted a copy.

Elin has worked hard her whole career, only to be labeled a black sheep. Kallore made a mistake years ago, now being woken up from stone, he is unsure if he can help save humanity. Fate brought them together, but can they save humanity? Will Elin take a chance and give into her heart?
Loved this first book to the Crimson Dragons. Loved how Kallore was goofy and determined, but when it came to Elin, he was determined to take his time and help her. I was proud of Elin for busting her butt and working for what she thought was right. Great read!

A different kind of werewolf!!!!
A totally different kind of werewolf. Lex is not your typical werewolf. And Petal is not your average corporate division director. When they get stranded in the forest after a violent storm he has to keep her alive until help arrives. Doing so ignites their passion but what will happen once the are back in civilization? Will it be enough to last forever? Read the book to fund the answers. Outstanding writing, terrific characters, who will capture your heart and a storyline with enough twists to keep you guessing. Highly recommended

The test is real
Desperate times call for desperate means and that means awakening dragon shifters. Kallore is the first to wake and he's met by the very feisty Elin. Both are dealing with their own failures and now they have to deal with their immediate attraction. The threat to earth is something humans can't face on their own, so they will do everything to make the dragons happy.

Awakening the Dragon
Can't wait for the next book in the series. Kallore and Elin story was interesting enough that I read it in one sitting. The book flowed smoothly enough that when I finished it I was satisfied. Sometimes you are left with wanting more information to detail but not in this case.

major Mara and Kallor had tons of stuff to over come before they get their HEA the the least of all him being a centuries old dragon and her being his "boss". but some how in the end they find a way

Dragon Temptation
I enjoyed reading about dragons being awakened to help save the earth from being destroyed. Strong characters and a hunky hero. Also enjoyed the wolf shifter guardian book. Another hunky hero protecting the territory and the people who live there.

This was a great story of adventure and romance, and what looks to be a great new world! I really enjoyed the Major and Kallore getting to know each other, and I really enjoyed how he was willing to adapt to keep and please his mate! Looking forward to the next book!
