I felt very uncomfortable reading this book as we are made aware, on numerous occasions, that Theo is married. I do not condone cheating and no mention of it is made in the blurb for the story. The blurb is misleading in fact, as it makes Theo sound like a playboy, with Nora being the one to capture his heart .

The story drags at times as there is little forward movement, and the dialogue is stilted to the extent that it doesn't "sound" natural.

Only when Nora is going to go back to New York is there a flurry of activity, and all is well in their world.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book . I have to admit I was tempted to to give up on several occasions.

This book is a hard one for me to review. I enjoyed the story, and it kept me interested from start to end. On the other hand, there were quite a few areas in which this novella could be improved. I personally don't care if there is cheating in a book, yet based on the blurb, a reader goes into the book not knowing that - and this is a big trigger topic that some readers have. The blurb itself is also misleading as its written from his POV, but the whole story is in her POV. The cover and title implies that its a Christmas themed story but it is not. What I really needed in this book to move it beyond a 3 star rating is seeing them in situations where we can see WHY they love each other. The characters could also have been more developed. Overall, an OK read. *I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

I enjoyed this story even though Theo got on my nerves to the nth degree. His reasons for staying in a bad marriage were ridiculous. I am glad he pulled himself up to scratch towards the end.

Nora is a sub-editor at a magazine in NY and has not been home to CA for 7 years. She is finally going to visit for her (step) dad's birthday. Her dad is ecstatic to see her and spend time with her. He is having a big birthday and having a party. While it is nice to see the people she hasn't seen in so long, she is not looking forward to seeing her dad's best friend Theo...the reason she left.

She has "loved" Theo for as long as she can remember. Theo is shocked to see Nora as the woman she has become and is disturbed by the thoughts running through his head. This is his best friend's daughter! He decides he has to avoid her and is succeeding until her dad has a stroke and he is needed.

What will become of these two? Will small town accept them? What of his "in name only" wife?

I thought the book was ok but there were a few things that bothered me. For one, I also don't like the cheating aspect even though he and his wife really just lived in the same house, there was no relationship as she was just interested in his money. I liked the characters of Theo and Nora but I feel Nora was a bit immature and yes, she does have a sexual relationship with a married man. I'm not sure where Theo's head was at. He was definitely thinking with the wrong head.

Dad had a stroke but yet the dialog all seemed to be in reference to a heart attack. Confused me!

I just feel like the story was a bit unrealistic, while I always want a HEA. Maybe it just needed to be a longer book to explain more, a dad accepting his daughter and best friend? I am sure they had many a conversation but WE don't know that . The title? I don't understand the significance of it.....

Nora, a sub editor of a famous woman's magazine in New York, visits her hometown a California Suburban after seven years to meet her stepdad, who love her and cares for her as a read dad. Nora always had a teenage crush in her dad's best friend,Theo, who is 20years older to her. Theo, a billionaire with his innovation in medicine engineering, married a while after Nora left for New York, but unhappy in the married life. When she is grown up now, Theo is unable to see her as the child anymore, also with Nora's long time crush on him, the sexual tension is always present around them. Once after on a dinner night, they have heated encounter which spikes up Theo's guilt towards his friend and wife and leaves Nora heartbroken. But one night changes everything in their life when her father gets a stroke. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of the book, I enjoyed the book very well and loved the 3 lead characters. Nora, strong independent, tries to express her feelings to her dad's best friend, while Theo struggles between his love less marriage and his love for Nora. I liked Andy, Nora's dad too, the way he handles his daughter and friend's relationship and being a supportive dad to her. I recommend this book to 18+ readers but it s really a lovely book.

Nora goes home to visit with her father and is surprised to run into Theo her father's best friend the man she's had a secret crush on for years. Nora has avoided going home because she didn't want to be around when Theo got married. Theo isn't happy in his marriage but doesn't see a reason to push for a divorce that is until he sees Nora all grown up. Theo knows its wrong to see her as anything other than his best friend's daughter but can't help himself around her. When Theo's wife confront Nora in public rumors start spreading and Nora knows it won't be long before her father hears about them. With Theo avoiding her after they were together Nora decides maybe she should return to New York. Will Theo admit his feelings for Nora before its too late? What will her dad do or say when he finds out about them?

This was a great story once I start it I couldn't put it down. The attraction between Theo and Nora is electrifying. This is a must read in my opinion.

This is the story of Nora and Theo. Nora is 25 and sub-editor of a major women’s magazine in New York. Theo is 45, billionaire of his innovation in medicine engineering and her father's best friend and married. She always had a crach on him and when he announced that he was getting married, it was the time she was leaving for her studies and she intended never to look back. However, after 7 years she has returned home for her father’s 50th birthday. When she will meet again Theo all the passion will arise and for once he will notice her. And things will just change…

A fun and pleasant love story for a couple with an age difference of 20 year. I enjoyed reading it and though the topic is a bit weird from various angles like the age difference, the fact that he is married I believed that the author really delved into and tried to let also the reader now the thoughts and internal struggles of the protagontists.

This is my first book by Joanna and I enjoyed her writing style. “Unwrapped by the Billionaire” is very entertaining and well-developed. Nora returns home after seven years for her father's 50th birthday. She has stayed away because she has been in love with Theo since she was 16. Now 25 she still dreads meeting up with Theo her father's best friend. Theo is a handsome, older, unhappily married billionaire. When Theo and Nora see each other again their chemistry is unbelievable. They try to resist their attraction but fail. “Unwrapped by the Billionaire” is heartbreaking, steamy and romantic with a HEA. If you can get past the cheating (he only leaves his wife near the end of the book) you should give this story a try. It's well worth your time.

I’m new to this author and I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn’t put it down, I had to read this book right up until the end. This is a dad’s best friend romance, Nora is an editor of a famous magazine in New York she goes home to see her family. Nora has always had a crush on her dad’s best friend Theo but Theo is 20 years older than Nora. Theo marries once Nora leaves for New York but he’s very unhappy in his marriage, now that Nora is back Theo see’s that Nora isn’t a young girl anymore she has all grown up. Theo and Nora have a one night stand but Theo’s ex confronts Nora and the rumours start flying around. That’s all I’m giving you guys and if you want to know what happens next then you will have to get the book. Great storyline and I loved the characters, this is a must read and I definitely recommend this book.

i read this book as part of an arc program. I enjoyed this story about Nora, a young woman who returns to her hometown for her father's birthday. When Nora returns, she sees Theo, her father's best friend and the man she has had a crush on since she was 16. Nora left for New York when Theo announced he was getting married and she was heartbroken. When Nora learns Theo is very unhappy in his marriage, she wants to act on her feelings. Theo is shocked to see Nora all grown up and he has an attraction to her he has trouble controlling. Theo and Nora are both fighting this but can only fight it for so long. Theo is also feeling guilty about his best friend and wife. I enjoyed this book, i liked how Theo wanted to be with Nora, but was also worried about her father. i think Theo just stayed married because he felt he had to. Good one.

The was the first book that I read by this Author. I really enjoyed this book. It was a entertaining quick read with some steam. Nora had a crush on her dads best friend (Theo - who is a little younger than her dad) since she was 16. She hadn't visited her home town for 7 years after leaving for college. When she arrives back in town for her dads 50th birthday she realizes she still is attracted to Theo as a women after all of these years, but Theo is married.... You should grab a copy of this book to see how it ends. If you are a romance reader like I am then I am sure you will like it.
I am deducting a star because I don't like books where there is cheating. The description of this book needs to be redone also. The book isn't like what is written in the description.

This is the first book I have read by this author and it will not be the last. After staying away for seven long years, Nora finally returns home for her father’s birthday and runs into the man she has been crushing on since she was a teen. It does not help that the man in question is Theo, her father’s best friend, and he happens to be married. The good news is that Theo is not in a happy marriage but he is not in a rush to divorce his wife. When an unforeseen event forces Theo and Nora together, can they admit their feelings for each other or will Theo walk away? What will happen when Nora’s father hears about his best friend and daughter? This is a steamy older man/younger woman storyline filled with angst, tension and above all passion. Once you start reading, you will not be able to put it down.
I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.

rcvd an advanced reader copy from the author for giving my two cents. it was a meh read. we meet Nora, home for her father's 50th bday bash, after staying away for 7 years. the reason for her prolonged absence....Theo, her crush since 16 and her dad's bff. she was heartbroken when her married a Spanish woman after knowing her for like 3 months and it crushed her. seeing him again makes her want Theo even more. a chance encounter at a dinner party leaves Theo feeling guilty bc he's married and she is his bffs daughter. one night after dinner nora's dad suffers a minor stroke and thank God Theo was there to save the day. after leaving the hospital Nora and Theo are alone and one thing leads to another. will anyone find out? will Theo feel.more guilty? will Nora leave back to NYC?

Nora left her home town and has been gone for 7 years, but when she goes back home for her dad's birthday, she knows she will see Theo, but she hopes that her feelings have diminished, but they haven't and the way Theo looks at her, tells her he now sees her as a woman. As time goes on, Theo and Nora seem to get closer, but when her father has a mild stroke, they get really close. But Theo is married, will he get divorced? Can Nora make Theo happy? Will Nora's dad accept her choice in Theo? Will Theo admit his feelings before Nora heads back to New York?

I couldn't put this down. The chemistry between the characters is undeniable.

I rate this book 3,5 stars.

Nora has a childhood crush on Theo, who is her fathers best friend and (unhappily) married at the time she returns home after being away for 7 years, to celebrate her fathers 50th birthday.
She discovers she is still in love with Theo and he falls for her the minute he lays eyes on her at her fathers house.

At first I thought this book was not for me but it enveloped quite well and I loved the ending.

Nora has always had a crush on her stepdad's best friend but he resisted her. She went away to school, then work and was gone for seven years. She comes home for her stepdad's 50th birthday and ran into Theo. The attraction is still there but he's married and he's loyal to his friend, Things change when they comfort each other after her stepdad has a stoke. Involves cheating and older man/younger woman situation. Well written with engaging characters and an interesting storyline. No spoiler, but there is an HEA. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

A DREAM OF LOVE CAN COME TRUE IF YOU BELIEVE

VOLUNTEERED TO READ AND GIVE AN HONEST REVIEW FOR THIS ARC BOOK

I loved the book. Joanna did a great job with this book. Nora has been in love with her father’s best friend, Theo, since she was sixteen. Theo is married to an unfaithful, cheating, shrew of a woman, but that does not stop him and Nora from having an affair. Nora attempts to leave after she and her father find out that she’s pregnant. Theo has something to say about that. Will they have a happily ever after.

This is the first time that I have read anything by Joanna Nicholson and I must say she’s good at keeping your attention fixed on the story that she’s telling. I’ll be checking out more of her books in the future. If you haven’t read any of her work all I say is try because there is no harm in trying. Because I bet you won’t be disappointed in your choice at all because I tried and I wasn’t disappointed in my choice.

I really liked this story. It is an older man younger woman story, 20 years different. He is her dad's best friends and she is coming home after 7 years away. I have never read JN and I really like her style. She had me hooked from the beginning. Kept me interested the whole time. There was a couple of sexy scenes that were just right.

I love these older man/ younger woman stories. She has a crush on her dad's friend but it is not reciprocated at that time. She goes away to school and such. When she comes home seven years later for her dad's birthday he notices her then. This is exciting, suspenseful, emotional, surprising and so much more. I really enjoyed reading this. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Unwrapped by The Billionaire by Joanna Nicholson is an older man younger woman romance.
Nora has had a crush on her father's best friend since the age of 15, she returns home after 7 years to find that Theo is still as hot as ever. Theo is unhappily married to a gold digging cheating wife but is still with her.
Sparks fly and the chemistry is undeniable between the two, but they fight their attraction to each other.

ARC voluntarily received and honestly reviewed.

The blurb did not match the story, in my opinion. There must have been a mishap at the book factory.

This was a smooth story which seemed to draw me in and keep me interested. A friendship that had lasted for a long time between two close friends, and a daughter looking in and in love with Theo. They can’t be in the same room without pawing at each other. Yeaaaaayyyy.

A well written story with a huge twist. Such a sweet but heart breaking take. I like the story line and felt all the happiness, triumph and all the sadness that comes with it. I truly think this is a good read for a lot of different reasons. A coming of age to discover heart break is never an easy road.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This was a quick read but it was not a favorite for me. This is a first time read of this author, I'd give her another try. This story is about a young female who has been in love with her father's best friend since she was a teenager. I just feel I didn't really care for the characters well enough.

This was a pretty good read with a good story line and good characters. The reading was easy and it flowed really well. But I just wasn't into the whole liking daddy's best friend since I was 16 bit. I mean they were adults before anything happened but I just wasn't feeling the daddy bff.
