Obsessed
Is obsession ever really healthy? Some people obsess by putting their all into a job, education, or other people. But, what happens when those normal and seemingly healthy obsessions consume you so much that they eat away at the very core of your humanity? You start to do things that are out of your character. When you look in the mirror, you don't know the reflection that stares back at you. What happens when your obsession becomes a necessity?
Like all married couples, Chauncey and Macie Dubois had their share of ups and downs. When Chauncey has an affair, it turns Macie into the insecure woman that she never in a million years thought she would ever become.
Macie Dubois, the principal of a newly built middle school in Neavesville, Tennessee, was a woman to be reckoned with. She was a well-respected administrator and had many admirers. Her chances of becoming the next Director of Curriculum and Instruction was on the horizon. However, at home, she was just the opposite. After finding out about an affair her husband had with a woman who worked with him, she started to become insecure, jealous, and possessive. The person she was at work definitely wasn't the person she grew to become at home.
Chauncey Dubois, a personal trainer at Stay Fit was every woman's dream. Chauncey craved for attention and working at the gym as a personal trainer allowed him to be the center of attention all the time. Sometimes, his flirtatious ways seemed to get him into trouble. After his wife found out about a meaningless affair with a woman from the gym, Chauncey vowed never to cheat on his wife again. That is, until temptation reared its ugly head. A chance encounter with Detective Lawrence causes him to rethink every vow he ever made.
Obsession will weave you in and out of the lives of not only Chauncey and Macie but others who will bring some obsessive tales of their own.

Fast paced short read as the mystery obsessed lover caused all types of havoc for Chauncey & his peeps. I was very surprised to find out who was the "obsessed" lover. Good build up & storyline
