I started out liking this series but as the books went along- Besseta started to become such an idiot. She didn't think things through very well in the beginning but she was better than how she was at the end of the third book. She's over 600 years old. She would be so impetuous and irrational... unless the author forgot to say that when someone is turned they freeze in their mental development; and Besseta being 14 when she was turned- it would make sense. Same with Tiffany, although she wasn't as bad. It started to get so irritating, that it constantly pulled me out of the story. Also, another thing about Besseta- she used to be better before Kenneth completely took over her entire mind (or so it seemed). Then she just became a high school, hormone controlled bimbo. blech. And don't even get me started on her over the top emotions. People are constantly snapping, bellowing, crying, overprotective, and blood thirsty. When it's that often, any of those those their impact. Another issue I had with this book, is how awesome and powerful Kenneth became after the change. It was nice having him be so smart but not as impressive in physical feats. But since his change, the series became kind of cliche in that the newly changed one is super powerful and amazing right away and etc. etc. etc. Lastly, at the end, while the big conclusion was just a big battle in the middle of the war.... both Kenneth and Besseta drank from vampires- what were their skills that they acquired then? They weren't suppose to feed off vampires anymore. unless that testing is already completed and nothing was said? What happened after this? I'm assuming since they have two special snowflakes on the team and at least two even more powerful allies behind them, they'll win; but it would be nice to actually know.

Solid 4.5 star This book starts of with a bang! I love the characters, the story and how much is packed into this book, the only reason for losing half a star is there were times that I just didn't like how Besseta and Tiffany acted childish like over money. In saying that there is plenty of action, some tense moments and surprises for everyone involved. It was great to see how Kenneth developed as well as Basseta, but I did feel sorry for Tiffany so hope she gets some upgrades in the next book! :D I can not wait to see what will happen next after how things ended in this book!
I just finished book three and I am already needing a book four! An amazing series, so we'll written. Each character brings so much depth to this series. This is definitely not just another Vampire story! You will be amazed at the fast paced and dynamic energy Thomas Watson brings to this series! Please do yourself a favor start reading today.
After reading all three books so far in this series, Wow. As a disabled vet, I have a lot of time on my hands. I have read a lot of books by Me Watson and have enjoyed them all. I would recommend any of books at any time. These books I finished in two and a half days, very engrossing to say the least. Semper Fi to all..
I have absolutely fell in love with all of the Watson books. I admit to some hesitation in a vampire book, but I've read all of Thomas's other books and enjoyed them, so I gave this a shot. Well, love this series too. The writing style really captures me and I truly care about the characters. Thank you for another awesome book series.
Watson is an amazing author who builds stories full of love caring and sharing. Bad guys you are glad to see destroyed and good guys who save the day and are funny as all get out.
I’ve been waiting a long time to read this third book in Vengeance in Blood series and let me tell you I was not disappointed! Great plot, same great characters we love, full of action, magic and dangerous creatures trying to control the world... Great book!
All I have to say I'm maybe slow down the story/more character development. the first in this series was awesome top notch wrighting I fell as if this book was slightly rused, other than that sweet can't wait on the next book
Read this series in two days could not put it down. I want more! This series hits all the buttons. I have read T.A.Watsons newer books and loved them. Just wish I had found these earlier but now they are part of my library
Ended to soon. And the next one is to far away. Thomas Watson can write a heck of a story. My poor hubby was woke up several times from me laughing. Highly recommended.
I really enjoyed this third book and hope the story will continue soon. It’s always fun to see our characters evolve. I also really enjoy the sense of humor!
Just finished all three vengeance in blood series great set of books once again Thomas a Watson has out done himself keep writing and I will keep reading
Thomas knocked this one out of the park! There better be another book in this series because Tiffany and Maliki and the Vikings need an HEA. Not to mention there are still some tushes that need kicking!
