Kade Houston is forced to come home suddenly after 8 years when his brother & wife are killed in a car wreck, & Kade has one week to sell their estate. No one even let him know that they had a baby. It didn't help that they weren't even speaking, because his family wrote him off when he joined the military to become a Navy SEAL. It's his luck when the first night he runs into the woman that he ever loved, & ran out on, Genny Shepherd, & she still hates him. Genny has been busting her behind to save the family business that has been left to her, with no help from her older sister. So she's been slowly chipping away at the debt by doing something crazy, that if it were to be revealed, she would be ruined. The last thing that she needs, is the man that she never got over to walk back into her life, looking even better. Added in to make it a trifecta of chaos, anything that could go wrong is going wrong, and the only person who can save her is the last person in the world that she wants to trust, Kade. Big Daddy SEAL is a shorter story that pack quite a punch! I tried to not write such a big description, but honestly? There's so much going on, that there's even more packed in than I came off of. Kade & Genny were TNT together, even after 8 years, as the sparks flew instantly, which didn't take long before the sheets were on fire! And the cast of secondaries were very colorful, not all being in a good way either, but colorful they were! Twists were crazy, so f-bombs flew through my room with the greatest of ease, while there were some angst filled moments like the day that everyone basically did things that had me wanting to take people out on behalf of Genny! Which led to my favorite part of her coming into her own finally which had me rolling in laughter! These two talented authors meshed perfectly together, and I hope to read more by them in the future! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This is the first collaboration between authors Mickey Miller and Jackson Kane and it does not disappoint. I am familiar with both authors and I can see how their styles meld seamlessly in this sweet, second chance romance.
Kade and Genevieve were high school sweethearts until a series of misunderstandings caused Kade to leave his small, east Texas town to pursue a career in the Navy SEALs. Genny bravely moved forward with her life, but never forgot the man who stole her heart when he left town. Fast forward eight years and Kade returns to his hometown when his estranged brother and sister-in-law are tragically killed. A dead cell phone battery puts him back into Genny's life and they both realize that the attraction has never faded.
Kade gets way more than he expected following his brother's death and needs Genny's help. Genny has her hands full running her family's soap business and is exploring new avenues to bolster floundering sales and satisfy recalcitrant suppliers. Surprises abound and both Kade and Genny must reevaluate their shared past in order to move into the future. This is a short, sweet story of how two people confront what they thought was true and learn how to put the past where it belongs, the past. And how they compromise and complement one another.
I hope these two authors plan to write together again. Perhaps a future Kade and Genny story?

Good story-line. Strong characters. There is good push and pull with the tension between the main characters, and there was a perfect amount of lead up to the plot, and there wasn't a let down with the ending. Live Jackon Kane, but this was my first experience with Mickey Miller. I'll be looking for more.

Where do I even begin?! I’ve read books from both of these authors individually and now that they have co-written a novella together I’m blown away. This is a second chance romance that will capture your heart and soul from the very beginning. At the age of 18 Kade enlisted to become a Navy Seal and changed the path that both himself and Genevieve were heading down. Years later Kades life gets shaken up once again with circumstances out of his control, Emma comes into the picture things will never be the same again. I was smiling and tearing as I read their story, I felt what they felt and at other times was gripping my kindle so tight because I just wanted to scream at them for their actions. Amber, well I couldn’t stand her from the start and my feelings never wavered from that through the end. To put it nicely she’s a bitch and deserved everything she got. The flow between the characters was seamless, I wanted to turn the page to see what happens next and at the same time I didn’t want it to end. This novella will undoubtedly be at the top of my favorites this year. I was truly blown away by this book and hope there’s more from both of these authors together in the future because these gentlemen have done a phenomenal job. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Jackson Kane’s books show a lot of promise but IMO he still has to hone his craft a little more. In this book, some parts were more amateurish than other books I’ve read written by him The story is a good one, the pace was great, but some of the character’s thoughts processes were rough, needed some refining. The main character, Cade Houston, is returning to his hometown after an absence of eight years. He had left, straight out of high school, to join the Navy Seals, abandoning an abusive home situation with an alcoholic father. He was estranged from his brother, who was killed with his wife in a car accident and left everything to Cade. Now Cade came to town to deal with his brother’s house and estate and found out that he also inherited a six month baby girl Emma.
He also returned to see the girlfriend he had left behind when he joined the Navy. Genny had taken over her parents’ soap factory and is making ends meet, but barely. She’s having a hard time and her sister is not helping at all, but rather sabotaging her efforts. When she saw Cade, she was not very happy to see him.
Cade asks for help dealing with Emma and Genny accepts, in exchange for a hefty compensation. Being together brings back memories of how well they got along, and re-kindles their chemistry. There were some ghastly sex scenes; after I read the first one, I skipped the other ones. I didn’t like the language and some references to size. The sex scenes needed a lot of refinement.
I found Cade a negative character. He had problems with his brother, something about the brother abandoning the home situation, which was not very clear in the story. Consequently, they had a rift and when his brother tried to renew contact, Cake blew him off. Now that he has custody of his niece, he has guilt feelings about making amends. I hated the fact that he didn’t want to get attached to his beautiful niece and was calling her Baby instead of Emma so he wouldn’t form a relation with her and start loving her. He had plans of giving her away and started calling his brother’s friends to see who would take her. I found this such a despicable act! I got the impression he was an excellent soldier, but needed to learn to be a regular citizen. He had good intentions, but he was truly clueless on some concerns.
The scene I loved best in the book is when Genny confronts her sister, evicts her from her house and burns her clothes. It was a savage act, but so releasing, and so well-deserved. I really liked the plot about Genny and her work woes and her family relations better than the story about Cade and his conflicts about his brother, his desire to return to his military life versus accepting responsibility for Emma and his feelings about Genny. IMO, this had all the elements for a good plot, but the execution lacked technique and better phrasing.

This a fantastic holiday read by Mickey Miller and Jackson Kane. What a fantastic read!

I'm now back in town and it's been a eight long years. Genevieve’s the only thing that's on my mind, she never leaves my thoughts. This girl is my addiction.
I know for one thing and that is I’m not leaving until Gen’s with me once again.
The problem that I have now is that I’m suddenly and unexpectedly the guardian of a newborn baby. That means now that things in this small town; well now know that they just got a whole lot more complicated.

Kade

The name's Kade Houston. I know that it's a shock to everyone but after eight long years I've decided that I'm returning home for the Holidays.

You see I'm not home to clear some things up. However it's not for the reasons you think they are.

You see the thing you need to know is that my estranged brother has died. The problem now is that I have one week to sell his estate.

Did I forget to mention that I serve my country? Hell yeah I do and proud of it too. The other thing yo need to know is that I'm cocky, arrogant, and most of all is that my Navy SEAL training made me ready for anything.

Well Let me re-phrase that. I'm prepared for most things anyway but this being the surprise. Are you ready for it:? Yeah I'm guardian of my late brother's newborn baby.

I can honestly say that for the first time in my life, I feel that I'm in way too deep and over my head.
There is only person who I can turn to. This person is my first and only girl that I've ever loved; and always will love.

I know that since I've been gone. That her super smart mouth, emerald green eyes, oh and those curves of hers have only gotten sexier.

The downside to all if this is that it's way too bad that the sexy Genny Shepherd still hates my guts.

Genevieve

Hey everyone My name is Genevieve but most people call me Genny. It was always my dream to inherit the family business.

The problem is that now I have it. We're almost bankrupt.

I can possible save the family business is that by doing something totally and irrationally crazy.

The problem is that if anyone found out what I had planned; I'd lose everything.

Now this problem is not helped by the fact that is this is one of the worst times for him to come crashing back into my life. Of course I mean Kade. Who else did you think I meant?

This is so not the time for Kade to come home its the time I need to be the most focused...

Oh my Kade's got ripped muscles and smouldering take me now , hard and fast stare is all I can think about!

Oh my this holiday season, why on earth does everything go so wrong? Well that everything i think can't go wrong ends up going wrong! Why does this happen to me? Was I a horrible person in my past life???

Totally crazy and insane of me to admit this to myself and anyone else is that Kade is the only person who can save me. Another reason is that Kade is the one person I vowed to never trust again.

Can Kade and Genny make up and live happily ever after? Will the overcome all the obstacles that are thrown their way?

You need to read it to find out....

5* book well done guys

Kade left Ginny right after high school to join the military, but now he’s back. His brother has died, leaving his home, his worldly possessions and his infant daughter all to Kade. Only on temporary leave and planning to reenlist for another four years, Kade has a short amount of time to take care of things. He didn’t expect to see Genny again, but maybe he can enlist her help temporarily with baby Emma. Except Genny isn’t so eager to help. It still stings that Kade left things between them the way he did, and she has her own set of problems. She’s trying to breathe life back into her retired parents' failing soap company that’s been in the family for generations, as well as dealing with her vapid, shallow sister, a wannabe social media sensation who puts more effort into sponging off of and undermining Genny than helping with a business that’s half hers. But with those old feelings for Kade that never died and her instalove of Emma, how can she refuse Kade?

When I saw that two of my favorite male romance authors were collaborating, I had to get an advance copy to read. There’s a reason I like these two accomplished authors individually, but together they’re dynamite! Not only are the characters well developed, realistic and likeable, the storyline is interesting and sucked me in from beginning to end. Add to that some pretty hilarious situations, an adorable baby and some fantastic symbolism, and this story is an amazing, five-star success and not to be missed! With some sad, sweet and poignant moments and a sister you’ll love to hate, this second chance romance had a little of everything and is sure to please. I hope Jackson and Mickey work together again in the future because they make a heck of a team, compliment each other’s skill and do a bang up job!

Rough ARC was voluntary read and honestly reviewed.

It was a short story maybe 200 pages but read in full, no skipping and no cliffhanger. I really like this story, reunited old lovers, drama, mystery but the sex was more teasing then to deed.

SEAL Sargent Kade Houston just wanted some R&R in Lima but last minute change of planes brings him back to his small town childhood home for a tragic accident that left Kade with something he never thought he’d deal with. Now on break with a will, a house, a few month old babygirl, his Niece Emma, he don’t know what to do but calling his high school ex girlfriend that still in town, for help. Kade needs to do something to get rid of attachments so he can go back to his renewed contact for the Navy. What will he do?

Kade isn’t the only one having problems Genevieve ‘Genny’ is having the best days of her life, Not! She is the youngest daughter, her older sister, well how did I say... she is lazy and all she thinks about is her made up life and her viewers. Genny can’t get Amber to help and what Genny finds out what really is going on with her family (3 generations) business her stress will sky rocket. And add a ghost of her ex Kade that’s back after leaving her high and dry for 8 years back she don’t know what to even do, not to mention a baby added into the mix... talk about locking the doors and hiding from the world...

Will Kade get rid of his attach,Mets and get back to active duty? Or will he take his brother’s words and heed the advice in Black and white?

Both of these authors are completely news to me but I saw SEAL and Daddy in the title (I'm on a single parent kick) and was like gotta give this a shot. Couple that with it being written by not one but two male authors was just a fun bonus.

There was a lot going on in Big Daddy Seal for both of the main characters. While I want to say Kade was the best, it was Genny who stole the show. I adored her soft heart and how she finally found her voice. That's not to say Kade wasn't great- because he was. I really liked his protectiveness and how easily distracted the disciplined military man got when Genny came to mind.

I liked that these two were able to put years of hurt and longing behind them. That's not to say it was easy. There was more than one bump along the way but it didn't hurt that they were both so head over heels for the other. Add baby Emma into the mix and it was game over as Kade saw the possibility of what could've been.

While there were some parts of this story that were kinda cheesy, it only added to the overall charm. Kade and Genny both grew a lot in the short time frame and I was glad to see them grow together. I do think that this could've been cleaned up a bit but overall I enjoyed the hint of drama with a side of life challenges and changes.

This is the first co-writing novel of my two favorite Frat Male Romance Authors, Mickey Miller and Jackson Kane. Kade and Genny's reuniting/second chance encounter started like a whirlwind when Kade just suddenly come back to his home town to take care the things what his late older brother and sister in law die suddenly from car accident and saw his Ex-girlfriend high school sweetheart Genevieve, added up some adorable baby to take care after 8 years of absence for being part of Navy SEALs. A little Drama, second chance romance, funny scenes about taking care of babies, the past, misunderstanding and everything, ALL CHECK!!

It's Mickey and Jackson's first co-writing project and It's a good book to read. I love Kade and Genevieve both of them are strong characters and Kade's misunderstood past with his brother and his love for Genevieve and Emma, he's not perfect but he's a kind of guy you will fall in love with. Genevieve, I love her character so much, she's strong and even if one time she decided to give up everything she will bounce back and fight for it. I love the confrontation between Gen and her awful sister. The plot is okay and it's a novella and it has a good story line.

I'm hoping for a new co-writing novels from Mickey and Jackson.

I rate this 4.5 stars

I've read books from both of these authors individually but when I heard they were collaborating to write a novella I knew it was a must read. Big Daddy Seal turned out even better than I expected. The writing flows seamlessly and the characters pull you in from the beginning.
Kade Houston left everyone and everything behind when he joined the Navy. Years later he is unexpectedly called home and runs into Genevieve Shepherd, the one woman he loved and left behind.
Genny's life has not been easy and she's been busy trying to make a sucess of the family business. The last thing she need is a blast from the past but boy do the sparks fly when Kade and Genny see each other again.
I found myself trying to devour their story as quickly as I could until I realized I was near the end and wasn't ready for their story to end. This second chance romance had a little bit of everything from moments that had me laughing out loud, celebrating as the characters come into their own and tell it like it is, and others that made me swoon and root for Kade and Genny to find their happily ever after. I loved this fantastic collaboration and hope there are more in the future!

Another great read by Jackson Kane and Mickey Miller. Also another a guy leaves a girl for the military and comes back to town and they get reacquainted and he decides he wants her back story. Even though she's still attracted to him, Genny's not so sure she wants Kade back, however, because she's still hurt that he left her. She's also trying to keep her family's business afloat and thinks Kade will just get in the way of that. But Kade makes Genny an offer she can't refuse to help him out while he's taking care of some of his family business.

There's a lot of humor in this book and that's a big plus for me. And it was great getting a two-fer from two of the best romance authors in the biz. I felt like I might've got whiplash a few times, though, because I'd suddenly be pulled out of Jackson Kane book and into a Mickey Miller book (and vice versa) but that only added to the charm of this read for me. I'd definitely recommend. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and have decided to provide my honest opinion in a review.

Big Daddy SEAL is a quick, fun second-chance love story. I am familiar with both authors and this is a great collaboration!
A family tragedy brings Kade back to his hometown and he finds himself face to face with the only women that he ever loved and walked away from. He did it for what he thought was a good reason back then, but when he sees Genevieve again he questions his decision. He also has to face the fact that everything from his past was not as it seemed.
I really enjoyed Kade as a character. Like many in the military they have to make choices and sacrifices and sometimes live with regrets.
Eight years away and when Kade walks back into Genevieve’s life all of the old feelings come to a head. He is the last thing she needs to complicate her life or so she thinks. Genevieve is determined to keep her family’s business afloat and in order for that to happen she has to get creative.
I love the strength and determination of Genevieve’s character. She has a lot of love to give to both her parents, Emma and Kade when she finally lets him in. (Her sister, no so much)

This book is a collaboration from two fantastic authors. Jackson and Mickey bring us a sweet, quick romance that will give you all the feels

Kade is a Seal who left town at 18 to get away from troubles that plagued him. He left one thing behind that meant something to him, Genevieve. Now he is back in town to look after his brother’s baby.
Genevieve is a bit of a hippy, and owns her families soap shop. Genny comes across as a sweet and caring character, that is unless you cross her!

This book was a short, fast paced second chance romance. The book I found to be a little funny in some parts, and also sad in others. I felt so bad for Genny with how she was treated in one part of the book, and I also teared up from the letters Kade found. This book definitely gave me a wide variety of emotions. I did want to slap Kade at one stage with how clueless he seemed to be but he redeemed himself by the end for me. I enjoyed reading this story and hope to see more collaborations from Jackson and Mickey in the future.

Second Chances and a Surprise Baby!!!

This was a heart-warming read from two great authors. It's all about getting a second chance with your first love and finding out what is important in life.
Kade left his small hometown in the dust and never looked back. Except he always wondered about the girl he left behind. When he returns home to deal with his brother's death, not only is he saddled with old memories, but a baby he didn't know about and has no clue how to take care of! But never fear, he is a Navy SEAL after all!
Genny was the girl left behind and has just taken over her family's failing soap business. She secretly branches out to a new product to bring in revenue and fears anyone finding out. The last thing she needs is Kade returning home.
When they are thrown together, sparks fly and they find out that true love never dies. Together they work to care for baby Emma and save her business and learn to fight for what is important. After nearly repeating old mistakes, they find a way to get their HEA.

I'll say right away, I typically am turned off from reading a book that has a title with the word "Daddy" in it. But, I thought I would give this book a try since I have heard great things about both authors. Parts of the story were great, parts of it could have used improvements. I felt like it was rushed in the end. *Might have spoilers if you continue reading* I liked the second chance romance part of it. I would have loved this to have been a full-length novel. I wanted to know more about the relationship between Genny and her crazy sister. I would have loved to know more about Kade and his brother's relationship and why they did not keep connected. I also was so angry when Kade made the choice with Emma, knowing deep down he did not want to make that choice. He wanted things to be different, he was just afraid to make that move. All in all, it was a cute second chance romance story, but I wanted so much more!

A first time hook up...in writing that is for these two fabulous authors. I'm not sure I could have been more impressed. It was well written and flowed together seamlessly.
A book about Kade Houston, a Navy SEAL who isn't ready to come home just yet and face all of his new responsibilities or the one thing that he left behind eight years ago, Genny Shepherd.
Genny has taken on so much in the time that Kade has left and certainly isn't ready or welcoming when she sees him again.
Can these two find their way back to each other? It's the holiday season and love just might be in the air. Will the holiday spirit find it's way to these two?
This book is definitely a must read and I certainly hope that there is another collaboration of ideas and stories from these two! Definite 5 star read.

I have been following both these authors for quite a while now but finally took the plunge to read a book co-authored by them and I have to say it was heart-warming and a delight to read the story. I was glad to see that the story is not filled with cliche characters that do not have flaws.
Reading the book almost made me feel like I could relate to the characters and all the plight they were suffering from. The story line of the book is amazing and it definitely has an HEA ending but what is different is the process through which they had to go through to reach there.
Kade even with all his flaws was super sexy and human enough to admit when he was wrong. Let's not forget the fiery Genny too! The book is definetely a fantastic second chance romance. A perfect book to curl up to near a fireplace during winter!

Wow this was a great collaboration between two great writers. They way that they told this story was so heartfelt and meaningful that it made me cry, laugh, yell and most of all fall in love with the two people who were more of what we as humans want. Genny and Kade had that once in a lifetime love affair but he was scared and ran. But 8 years later things happened and people changed and one thing lead to another and they found their way back. If you need a good Christmas Story to read this one is for you and I'd highly recommend it. I absolutely love both Mickey Miller and Jackson Kane and I hope that we see more from them in the future. I absolutely give this book 5 stars. I voluntarily reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy.

Kade and Genny were high school sweethearts. Eight years ago he left Genny and their little East Texas town behind to chase his dream to become a Navy SEAL. The sudden death of his estranged brother forces Kade back into town and into Genny’s orbit.

While Kade is chasing his dream, Genny is trying to run her family soap business. Times have been tough for the business forcing her to look into different products to bring in more revenue.

Kade is forced to ask Genny for help and the results are explosive. While old feeling come back, some new feeling emerge as well. A life Kade never imagined is right in front of his face but can he reach for it.

A fantastic second chance romance, I hope to see Mickey Miller and Jackson Kane team up again.

I'm a big fan of Mickey Miller and only just found Jackson Kane, so imagine my glee when I found that they collaborated on this novella together, and wow, what a collaboration this is, its fabulous, Kade, the Navy Seal, has come home for the holidays to sort out his late brother's estate and finds out he is guardian to his brothers baby. He also runs into his old love Genny, he realises he still loves her, but, she hates him, or does she..

This was magnificent, I absolutely loved everything about it, the storyline, the characters, well apart from one, but I'm not elaborating, you'll have to read the book to see who that is. The chemistry between Kade and Genny is awesome, a fabulous feelgood second chance romance.

I received a copy and voluntarily leave my own thoughts

When I got Big Daddy SEAL I was a little judgy with the title and didn't expect much of a storyline. It turned out I judged this book wrongly by the title, it's really good read with a great storyline. Kade and Genevieve are great characters. Kade is a military guy who comes home because his estranged brother has passed away. Not only does he have to deal with his brother's stuff but he finds out his brother has a baby. I loved Kade. He seemed grumpy at times but he's still really likeable. He and Genevieve have had a past. She isn't all to happy to see him come back to town. She's struggling with running her parents business. They still have a connection and I liked them together.

4 Stars-Great (had my attention and I enjoyed it),

I was originally going to give this read 3 Stars, but after careful consideration I bumped up one Star.
I found this read to be intriguing.

A short read - about 17% of the entire book. The rest is 2 bonus reads. No cliffhanger, dual POV, HEA and a hot SEAL. This read was interesting. It had my attention. Nothing too crazy. A story of second chances with many surprises. I would of enjoyed more of the story but it is a quick read. This was more of a filler read for me. It's been a while since I've done a lot of reading. I took a 6 month hiatus. But I'm back and I wanted a lite read to get my feet wet before diving in. This book did it for me. I warmed up and ready for more.

You have Kade coming home to a town because his brother and his brother's wife have died. They have left behind all of the prize possessions, including their baby. Kade is in town to clear it all out and find a home for the baby, in which he didn't know... Is his responsibility now. Kade used to be with Genevieve, who was someone he grew up with and then boom realized that there was more.
That was until Kade left Genevieve. She is left heartbroken and pissed off. The love and passion that is shown throughout the book, definitely will have your fingers and playing a fine tune.

This is definitely a must read!!!!

I have read books by Jackson before but not by Mickey. So to say the least was quite curious to see where as a duo this story was to go. They got me right away with the title luring me in with the Seal. Now Kade is one that I did find a bit hard to like at times. When he goes back home thanks to a tragedy he runs into Genny while her sister was being her nasty self. Second chance it would seem if the chemistry doesn't take them both out. She has quite the road she travels with all the bumps that keep you scratching your head. Then there is the little one that has you smiling. So a story that keeps you twisted but takes you through it all until you reach the perfect satisfaction.

Mickey Miller and Jackson Kane made a stellar team with their latest book!

This hot, fast-paced smooth flowing storyline, with its second chance love story full of just the right amount of angst, sexiness, baby love and twists to keep me swiping through those pages, watching one helluva story unfold in front of me. I could not put this one down!

Well thought out characters Kade and Genny are one pair I liked from the very beginning and rooted for throughout!
I don't want to give away any of the details to this heart squeeze, alpha protector swoon-worthy read!
It is a book that speaks for its self!
So I highly suggest checking it out!

One of the benefits of male romance authors is that I get to see a true male point of view straight from a man. With Big Daddy SEAL, there are two male authors, both talented in their own right, and they've done a phenomenal job here.

Kade finds himself returning home after a long absence to take care of his estranged brother and sister-in-law's estate and child. He instantly takes on daddy duties, and I love seeing the thoughts and emotions he experienced. Seeing Genny again reminded Kade of what he lost even more, and this sweet, angst-filled second chance romance gave them the opening they needed to rekindle old feelings. Loved it!

Second Chance Resistance

Second Chance resistance, but it’s all in good fun. A bit outrageous, a bit exaggerated and a whole lot tongue in cheek, written by two guymance authors. I’m more familiar with MM, but this was a neat blend of two writers’ work.

One of the unique aspects of this comedic romance was the elderly “mafia” strangle angle. These aren’t cute old people, either, and the situation for the heroine isn’t exactly hilarious, but c’mon - a soap factory? ;-) Under the inherent comedy aspect, is of course, a few heavier issues. But it’s a good, quick read with angles I suspect only Miller and Jackson could have come up with.

I loved it it flowed to the point you wouldn't know it was written by two authors.

I always say if it makes me cry it's a good read. I cried and laughed.

There was little focus on the fact Kade was a Navy Seal, which was somewhat odd. Despite the lack of Seal stuff, the focus on the relationships in Kade's life remind us that what we believe isn't always the case. Life is short, don't waste it.

Genevieve is strong yet sensitive and loving willing to do whatever it takes to save the family business and to love unconditionally.

Genevieve also learns that enabling someone just because they are family can be toxic and that betrayal can sting yet be empowering.

Loved This Book

Wow! What a great story. Kade gets a big surprise after his brother dies, in more ways than 1. Genny, a girl from his past, becomes his salvation when he wants to run away and leave it all behind. He finds some letters that his brother wrote him but never sent so he understands better what was going on with brother. Mickey and Jackson worked so well together in writing this, it was hard to tell who wrote which parts. Their style is very similar.

The bonus story at the end by Jackson was a nice surprise. It is a heart wrenching tale of two brothers and how they deal with an unusual stipulation if their dying father’s will. Definitely worth the read!
